“Senior Uncle Lu.” After Gu Yunyue put away the spirit boat, she took a few steps forward and bowed to the big man.
“You’ve had a long journey, Disciple-Niece Gu. This must be Daoist Han, right?” The big man nodded and his eyes fell on Han Li.
“I’m Han Li,” Han Li replied.
“Peak Master Nangong wanted to receive you personally today, but there are some urgent matters in the sect that he can’t get away from, so he can only let me, Luo Jun, receive you. I hope Daoist Han won’t mind,” the big man said with a smile.
“You’re too kind,” Han Li replied, smiling.
“This is the new disciple of Disciple-Niece Gu. Not bad, not bad! Disciple-Niece, you have a good eye.” Luo Jun’s eyes fell on Yu Menghan and his eyes turned slightly bright.
“It’s a pleasure for Junior Yu Menghan to meet Elder Luo.” Yu Menghan hurried forward and gave a curtsy.
“As long as this child cultivates diligently, her future achievements will not be less than mine,” Gu Yunyue said, smiling.
Luo Jun then greeted Liu Le’er and when he learned that she and Han Li treated each other as siblings, a trace of a strange expression flashed past his face, but it disappeared quickly, and he said nothing else.
After witnessing Han Li’s formidable strength along the way, she was no longer as nervous and uneasy when faced with human cultivators as before. She believed that no one could bully her as long as her ‘Brother Stone’ was there.
“It’s more than enough for Daoist Han to be a guest Elder, with his strength and achievements. After all you were able to kill cultivators of the Deity Transformation stage and safely escorted Disciple-Niece Gu home. Now, there are more than ten vacant caverns on the peak for Elders to choose from. If you have any special requirements, I can have it arranged.” Elder Luo’s gaze returned to Han Li and asked after praising him.
“To be honest, I have injuries I have yet to recover from and it will be best to have a quiet place to recuperate. In addition, I know a little about alchemy. It will be better if there is a spirit field near the cave so that I can plant some herbs for my elixirs,” Han Li was frank and said unhurriedly.
“Oh, it’s unfortunate. There are several secluded places in the remaining caverns that meet your requirements, but unfortunately there are no spirit fields. And the fields in Outcloud Peak are tended to by the disciples, which are basically distributed on some sunny slopes below the mountainside. The location is not quiet.” Luo Jun was slightly stunned when he heard this and raised his eyebrows slightly before saying hesitantly.
When Han Li heard this, he frowned slightly, as if he was in a dilemma.
“How about this, Daoist Han? Why don’t you choose a place in the spirit field area and I will immediately order someone to build a new abode for you?” Luo Jun saw Han Li’s expression changing and after a moment of silence gave such a suggestion.
“Haha! Why go through such trouble? Since there are no spirit fields on the peak, I will move one up. I am not sure if this is in line with the rules, Elder Luo?” Han Li blinked, and suddenly laughed before speaking.
Gu Yunyue and Yu Menghan were both stunned and slightly puzzled.
Liu Le’er was still by Han Li’s side and did not care about what the others were talking about. She was curiously looking around at the scenery.
“Haha, if I don’t go to the mountain, I’ll let the mountain come to me instead. What great spirit, Daoist Han! Why not? Please come with me.” Luo Jun obviously did not expect Han Li to say that and he laughed, looking mildly interested.
Under Luo Jun’s lead, they came to a valley on the mountainside of Outcloud Peak with much exposure to the sun. There were several cultivated and divided spirit fields in the valley, about several hectares big, on which some servants were bent over busy with work.
“Daoist Han, some spirit fields here used to belong to another guest Elder. However, several years ago, he unexpectedly died after venturing out and the fields have been under my care ever since. I have yet to find the time to re-allocate them. If you are interested, you can take it,” said Luo Jun to Han Li as he stretched out his hand magnanimously.
“Thank you very much, Elder Luo. Then I will accept it.” Han Li’s eyes looked around the valley, a trace of faint smile on the corner of his lips.
When Luo Jun saw this, there was a strange uneasiness in his heart.
Han Li stepped forward. Taking a deep breath, he bent down, raised his fist and suddenly hit the ground.
There was a loud bang!
The whole valley shook and the ground where the fist landed immediately sunk into a big hole, the area was not big, but it looked very deep.
Yu Menghan did not stand properly and if she was not supported by Gu Yunyue, she would have almost fallen to the ground.
Liu Le’er’s body swayed and was also unstable on her feet. She quickly cast magic to stabilize her body.
Most of the servants who were still working in the fields were young cultivators at the Qi Condensation stage. At the moment, they did not know what had happened and were all crying out in alarm and fleeing hurriedly out of the valley.
Luo Jun had already steadied himself and looked at Han Li with his eyes bright and remained silent with quiet anticipation.
Han Li walked along the edge of the field and after walking for a distance, he bent down and hit the ground again.
In the next five minutes, there were loud booming sounds in the valley. Han Li went around the whole valley and finally went back to where Luo Jun and the others were.
Luo Jun looked at Han Li’s calm manner and felt his mouth going dry and could not help but swallow his saliva.
Han Li did not say much. He crouched down and rubbed his palms.
Then, he suddenly raised his hands and his fingers like knives were stabbed into the ground.
“Rise.”
Han Li shouted and raised his hands.
Loud tumbles…
The roaring in the valley continued and the ground suddenly cracked. It gradually expanded from Han Li’s palm to the left and right.
Every place that Han Li had hit was connected by this crack and finally surrounded the whole valley field.
Liu Le’er then understood what Brother Han was doing. Her face was red and full of admiration.
“This…” Gu Yunyue opened her mouth, but could not say anything for a long time.
There was a bang and Han Li raised his hands, uprooted the whole field and raised it vertically.
From a distance, it looked like this spirit field was floating in the air.
Yu Menghan looked at the scene in front of her and was completely stunned and speechless.
“Let’s go, Elder Luo. Let me bring you on a tour of my new abode.” Han Li looked relaxed as he turned around and smiled at Luo Jun.
Luo Jun looked at the field that had been excavated and the ravaged valley, a feeling of not knowing whether to laugh or cry arose in his heart.
He thought that Han Li was choosing one of the fields here and would then use some magic artifact’s skill to move the mountain, but he did not expect that he would dig out the field with just his physical strength alone.
However, he was the one who allowed Han Li to do as he pleased and naturally he could not say anything more, so he just gave a wry smile and led the way to his new home.
Han Li held that piece of spirit field that was a few hectares big in circumference and spent more than an hour walking around Outcloud Peak, before finally picking an abode in a quiet corner near the peak.
