Summary
A Revolutionist in the Afternoon is Jirō Matsumoto’s latest short story collection and maybe his best one yet. While it doesn’t contain nearly as much sex and violence as his previous outing Keep on Vibrating the author makes up for it with a much more varied and eclectic array of stories and themes that are both fun and exciting to read. Contains 5 stories: A Revolutionist in the Afternoon A Revolutionist in the Afternoon 2 (not a sequel to the first one) Desert Witch- A wounded man is being chased, but then he stumbles on cursed grounds. Takeyama’s Life- A vampire, who is not really into the whole gothic vampire thing. The Footmen Flee- Two men are in the battlefield, and all they want to do now is go home (without being killed by the opposing side).
