Chapter 43: Where Did She Go?
He pointed to the balcony. “The day we come looking for you is the day I will jump from here!”
Qiao Jin glanced at the swimming pool under the balcony. “The second floor is so low, and there is a swimming pool down there. You won’t die if you jump, I’m certain.”
Ah-Ling was silent.
Damn her!
He could barely restrain his aggressive urges, but Song Yanqing raised his hand slightly. “Ah-Ling, let her go.”
Ah-Ling had no choice but to restrain himself, and unwillingly, he sent Qiao Jin away.
He would discipline this woman when the young master wasn’t watching!
She had tarnished his noble and perfect young master.

When Mu Qichu saw that Qiao Jin was missing, he immediately realized that something was wrong. He looked around but still couldn’t even find a trace of Qiao Jin.
He quickly walked over to his twin brother, who was being a social butterfly. “Qilian, Qiao Jin is missing.”
Mu Qilian was annoyed. “So what? If she’s gone, let her be.”
But his eyes glanced around nonetheless. “Why is she wandering around when she doesn’t even know the place? This is the Song family’s house.”
When he mentioned this, the rich kid he was chatting with became interested. He asked quickly, “Qiao Jin is your sister?”
Mu Qilian’s expression soured. “What do you mean by sister? My mother gave birth to the three of us. She was merely adopted.”
The rich kid laughed and said, “Even if she was adopted, your mother raised her for so long. What is she, if not your sister?”
Mu Qilian said to him with annoyance, “Get lost, let’s not talk about it.”
Mu Qichu was still a little worried. “Let’s find her right away, otherwise Mom will be worried.”
Qiao Fei was afraid that Qiao Jin would run around and cause some kind of trouble.
Mu Qichu and the others went looking for her everywhere. Strangely enough, after asking around briefly, they found that although the huge venue was full of people, nobody knew where Qiao Jin had gone.
In other words, Qiao Jin had disappeared right under their noses.
Mu Qichu’s face grew cold, and Mu Qilian became a little worried. “Perhaps she fell down somewhere?”
He wasn’t worried about Qiao Jin’s safety; he was simply worried that because Qiao Jin was not familiar with this place, she would cause trouble by offending people.
After all, he knew that she had some mental problems.
They kept looking, but in reality, Qiao Jin hadn’t been gone for long. Soon, when Qiao Jin was sent back by Ah-Ling, they saw her.
Mu Qichu walked over, then looked Qiao Jin up and down as he frowned and asked, “Where have you been?”
Qiao Jin said, “I went to pluck some wool.”
Mu Qichu and Mu Qilian didn’t know what to say to that.
Wondering what on earth Qiao Jin was talking about, they glanced at each other.
Where was there wool for her to pluck?
Although Ah-Ling had sent Qiao Jin away, his temper wasn’t so good, and finally, he couldn’t hold it in anymore.
As soon as he’d sent her away, he immediately went to find Song Siyin to complain.
He knew that when he told them what Qiao Jin had said, the Mu family definitely would not be pleased. He also didn’t want the young master’s 25th-year-old birthday party to be ruined, so he simply said that Qiao Jin had run up to Song Yanqing for no apparent reason.
Song Siyin’s face soured when he heard this.
If he knew what Qiao Jin had said, he would probably fight Mu Zhenming on the spot.
It wouldn’t be that serious if it had been someone else, but it was Song Yanqing, his only son. It was impossible for him not to take this matter seriously.
Since he had already been told that Qiao Jin wasn’t in her right mind, Song Siyin found Mu Zhenming and talked to him about the matter alone. Because he was angry, his tone wasn’t that pleasant, but he still tried to maintain his cultivated composure. Nonetheless, he still sounded accusing.
When Mu Zhenming found out what happened, his piercing gaze swept towards Qiao Jin.
