- Chapter 14 - After I Sent the Divorce Letter, My Husband Went Mad Chapter 14
His name was Cassel, but what was surprising was that he had not missed the top spot since he entered the academy. Because the swordsmanship department to which he belonged focused their time on training swordsmanship rather than studying, they did not have much time to study. Still, he never missed the top spot, so everyone remembered his name and wondered what kind of person he was.
‘Cassel’s mother was also at the top of the class.’
Cassel’s mother, Jenelle, was smarter and more beautiful than anyone else. She became the top of the academy, and she was originally due to become an administrator. However, after giving birth to Cassel, her fragile body became weaker, and she eventually died at a young age.
Her mother said that she felt very sorry for Jenelle.
“Shall I pull your hair up?”
As the cosmetologist asked, Leilia glanced at herself in the mirror and then nodded her head.
“Yes, do that.”
At that, the cosmetologist then pulled up her hair before ruffling a few strands to frame her face naturally.
After dressing up, Leilia looked at herself. As the yellow dress attached to her waist, showing off her waistline, the skirt hem was decorated with colorful jewels on it as it spread from the bottom up to the slightly curved chest.
Unlike her usual self, she looked like an aristocratic young lady.
“I like it.”
“Thank you.”
Leilia thought she should tell Lucis to tip the cosmetologist since she dressed her better than she thought. When she came out of the lobby after decorating everything, Lucis was already out there and was checking the list.
“I’m here.”
At her words, Lucis turned towards her slowly. There was satisfaction in the corners of his eyes as if he liked the lavishly decorated Leilia.
“Does everyone like our new dresses?”
“They love it.”
“Yes, it’s even more beautiful in person.”
It was an atmosphere where everyone was delighted. Lucis smiled and led everyone to the carriage that would take them to the academy. Meanwhile, he and Leilia also got into the same carriage as before.
“I don’t think I can work today.”
“Is that so?”
“I’m feeling anxious.”
Then, Lucis nodded his head as if understanding.
“I’m always like that when I go to see my wife. Besides, I don’t want the Young Lady’s dress to get wrinkled when it’s decorated like this, so let’s take a break.”
With a light touch, Lucis shuffled through the papers which she was about to show her. At the same time, Leilia glanced out the window as she thought of Cassel.
…What would he look like?
…Would he wear the clothes she sent him?
Pondering about this, she imagined what he would look like until she arrived at the building where the graduation ceremony was held.

The graduation ceremony was held in the auditorium since it was a massive space where it could gather a considerable number of people and was used for big events such as seminars and graduation ceremonies. As she entered the auditorium, Leilia consciously glanced up at the ceiling. On the ceiling, there was a painting depicting the activities of the first King, who established an empire by joining forces with a giant dragon.
It was crowded with people under the colorful lights.
The academy’s auditorium had seats up to the third floor. As the graduates were seated on the first floor, which was the largest, the graduates’ officials were sectioned to be seated on the second and third floors. Since all of the senior graduates on the invitation list had a designated seat, Leila found hers and sat down.
As she sat down on her chair, she realized that she had really come to his graduation ceremony. Glancing at the podium alone, she waited for the graduation ceremony to begin. After a while, the academy president came up to say hello.
Then, a man came out to represent the graduates.
The man, who had his short silver hair down, wore a black suit. Everyone admired his neat and handsome face.
‘…Cassel is amazing.’
The department of swordsmanship invested a lot of its time in swordsmanship. In addition, most of them came in as special students, so most of them were weak in the written test. However, the top place took both written and practical exams. Because of that, it said that it was the first time in a hundred years that the department of swordsmanship had become the first place.
That was why Cassel got even more attention.
He began his speech.
“Dear graduates, it’s an honor to be here as your representative.”
‘Hello.’
Leilia greeted him inside her head. At the same time, Cassel’s gaze seemed to be directed in this direction. Even though it was only for a moment, he seemed to have looked this way.
‘…No way.’
Leilia thought it was an illusion.
