Chapter 49: A Sudden Change
Crazy!
Let’s all get crazy!
What’s the big deal!
Under the influence of alcohol, Ye Fei’s mind was getting hazy. She even occasionally would start forgetting about what she was doing here. But the lights kept on flickering and scenes from the last 20 years kept on appearing before her eyes again and again, making her laugh deliriously.
In front of the drunken gazes from below, Ye Fei curled her lips. She slowly unbuttoned her leather pants. The button was open, but she didn’t move her hand down to the zipper. Instead, she continued dancing.
Because the jacket was taken off and the dance has been intense, everyone’s eyes fixated on the sexiness that is her lower body.
Sadly, nobody could see through the material. So everyone continued to behave crazily. They whistled, shouted, and the entire bar turned unstoppably explosive, generating one climax after another.
Finally, her hand reached for her zipper and she began to pull it down. Her movements were slow, and as she pulled the zipper down, a wave of shouting arose from below the stage. Some people could barely control themselves and wanted to rush onto the stage to fulfill their wild inner desires.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Without a sign, the giant stage suddenly fell into darkness. First, the crystal chandelier from above came crackling down, then, the lights from above the dance floor, the bar, and everywhere else began to tremble. As if they had planned this, everything began to crack. Some lights flickered and dimmed, others came crashing down, smacking people’s heads and filling the area with blood.
“It’s a gun! Someone fired a gun! Run!”
Someone suddenly shouted. At once, crowds of people held onto their heads and began their escape. At once, tables and chairs tumbled down, and alcohol sprayed everywhere. The clamorous and lively club was thrown into a panic within seconds.
“Protect young master Su!” Chu Zheng spoke calmly. Several strong-looking men dressed in black took out their guns and began to shoot towards the roof.
“Run! They’re killing people!”
“It’s a gunfight!”
After Chu Zheng entered the chaos, everyone began to run away with all they’ve got. Only a few flickering neon lights remained in the dark club, occasionally generating sparks from the side. This created another swarm of utter confusion.
Wan Li was quivering unstoppably. As gunshots were fired, she grabbed third master Mu who was beside her.
Out of the entire area, only third master Mu was able to sit there and remain calm as he slowly enjoyed the red wine in his glass.
“Third master Mu, let’s… let’s leave too…” Wan Li was shivering and her entire face was white.
Third master Mu glanced at the seat Su Mo Han was sitting in. That spot has been empty for a while and Su Mo Han was nowhere to be seen.
A faint smile appeared on his lips. He swirled the alcohol in his cup and said sheepishly, “There’s no need to be scared.”
After shots were fired, Ye Fei froze as well. Several lights above her dropped around her, making crisp and loud noises and sending large glass pieces her way, hitting her and giving her pain.
Her originally hazy and intoxicated self became clearer headed after this sudden incident. She saw that her hands were shaking unstoppably. Then, she looked up at the dark roof and dumbly stood in place.
The high level of alcohol had numbed her nerves and her mind was now slow. She stood there dumbfoundedly and giggled, “A gunfight.”
The giant stage was without lights and she couldn’t make out a clear path. After some time, she tried to turn and walk away while stumbling, but within the darkness, she couldn’t remember where the exit was.
She stayed right where she was, not moving nor hiding. She appeared troubled and her shy smile remained on her red face.
“Are you just standing there because you want to be a target!” Ye Fei felt a wave of warmth and before she could look and think things through, a powerful pull dragged her backstage.
