Chapter 10: The Horrible Avenger

The creative conception of the move he employed a moment ago did not hurt Lu Yun at all but he himself is internally injured.

It is horrible that Lu Yun is no longer the same as before.

“If he employed the creative conception of the Black Dragon Tyranny Sabre, I would have no chance to fight back. Lu Yun spent the time…, he was… he was playing with me!” Lu Fan suddenly realizes the fact and feels very shameful.

The scene when he and his brother bullying Lu Yun is still vivid in their mind. But now they are defeated at Lu Yun’s feet.

“I think you know what to do!” Lu Yun says indifferently, “I want to hear if your barking is different from dogs’.”

“Lu Yun! Don’t bully others to the extreme!” Lu Fan says with anger.

“Then I will let others know what happened today. You can choose between the two options to save your face,” says Lu Yun.

Lu Yuan and Lu Fan do not respond. They stare at Lu Yun fiercely. They want to tell Lu Yun that they would rather die.

In an instant, the two join their forces to counterattack.

A chilling look comes to Lu Yun’s eyes. He puts away his saber and knocks at Lu Yuan with Tyrannical Fist. Lu Fan is severely injured once again by a fist formed with vital energy. The brothers’ counterattack is stopped by Lu Yun by only one fierce punch.

“I have given you the way out, but you prefer the suicidal folly!” Lu Yun says coldly. “Since that is the case, I can change my way.”

“Lu Yun, what do you want to do!” The brothers exclaim at the same time.

Lu Yun says in the tone that makes them despair, “The pain you have given me will be ten times paid back!”

At the words, Lu Yun quickly reaches out, grabs the wrists of the brothers and give them a forceful wring.

“Ahhhh!”

In the bamboo forest, arise their screams and the sound of bones being broken!

It is completely dark, but nothing can cover the glory of the moon.

Lu Yun is alone now in the bamboo forest. After all, Lu Fan and Lu Yuan are from the same clan with Lu Yun. If he kills them, there will be troubles for him and his father.

Lu Yun eventually let them go.

It is late at night. He leaves for home.

He jumps briskly out of the bamboo forest. He moves much faster after he has learned the Whispering Saber Method.

Arriving at home, at the door, Lu Yun hears his father’s cough.

Lu Yun frowns. It doesn’t sound like having caught a cold. He enters, worried, seeing his father trying to control his breath with his hands pressed on the chest. But he cannot help coughing vehemently.

Immediately, Lu Yun runs to his father and injects pure vital energy into his back. Lu Bo feels a soothing and warm current coming into his body from his back.

After a while, his cough is not as bad as before. He feels much easier, and his color looks better.

Lu Yun stops and asks with concern, “Dad, your injuries…”

“Old problems, the internal injuries have accumulated over a long time.  The internal organs have been hurt. It is nothing serious but coughs.” Lu Bo says.

“Dad, the Frost Herbs for treating internal injuries costs the money for only 600 family donations. Why don’t you take more of it and restore your health?” Lu Yun asks.

Lu Bo says with a forced smile, “Well, after you have grown up, Dad will use the money to buy more of it.”

Lu Yun’s nose is sour. The fathers in the world are really alike. They are obviously tired, but try their best to be a tough guy and give all they have to their children without asking for any compensation.

Lu Yun is unwilling to see his father suffering from internal injuries. But unfortunately, he has not become an official member of the clan and cannot receive family tasks.

“Now it is winter, the plant is growing in the Mountain of Lunar Deities! Wait for me, Dad! You have paid so much for me. It is my turn to do something for you.” Lu Yun secretly determines.

Late at night, when his father is asleep, Lu Yun takes some food and goes out quietly.

The Mountain of Lunar Deities is very close to clan Lu. If he is fast enough, he can be back home the following day by noon. When he is back with the medication, Dad won’t blame him.

There are fierce monsters in the Mountain. No one dares to go there alone unless he is one of the warriors of the Mystery. If his father knew that Lu Yun is going to the Mountain of Lunar Deities, he won’t agree.

Lu Yun has to leave in secret.

Lu Yun sets off after closing the door. In black, it is hard for others to recognize him in the dark.

With the martial arts he has learned, he dashes like an arrow into the dark.

One hour later, Lu Yun arrives at the Mountain.

Gloomy roars of monsters make Lu Yun somewhat afraid. But thinking of his father’s injuries, Lu Yun takes a deep breath and starts climbing up the mountain.

Suddenly, a faint call for help comes to Lu Yun’s ear.

“Is there anyone?” Lu Yun changes his track and goes towards the source of the voice.

Not long after, Lu Yun sees an old man in white under a big tree. In spite of the dim light, Lu Yun sees that the old man is seriously injured in his leg.
