Ancient Fiend Dragon Emperor - Chapter 53
Chapter 53: Kneel and Kowtow!
Seeing that Su Han was coming for him, Li Qing’s face twisted and he immediately said in a soft voice, “Everyone, I’m not feeling too well. I’ll be leaving now.”
After that, Li Qing turned to run.
Xiao Yuhui’s lips slowly curled. She was well aware that Li Qing wasn’t really sick, but was only behaving this way because of what he had said before.
As for Bai Yu, Ping Yuzi, and the others, they were all frozen in place as they stared at the seven stars that were slowly disappearing from Su Han’s forehead. They didn’t speak for a long time.
“Elder Li, don’t leave just yet,” Su Han said loudly as he quickly appeared behind Xiao Yuhui and the others, blocking Li Qing’s path.
“You haven’t done what you promised me.”
Su Han’s gaze was sharp as an incredible aura came rushing out from his body like a blade out of its sheath.
“Kneel, and kowtow to me.”
Everyone only figured out what was happening after they heard this.
Li Qing’s face became even more unsightly. It was extremely ugly.
“Su Han, couldn’t you tell from my tone I was only joking? No need to be so serious,” Li Qing said softly.
“Joking? I don’t think that you were joking.”
Su Han smiled lightly. “Kneel, and kowtow.”
The same words were spoken again. This time, it scared Li Qing so much that his face turned the color of liver.
“I am a Frost Cloud Sect outer elder. Meanwhile, you’re not even a disciple. I wouldn’t be honoring the rules set down by the Frost Cloud Sect if I were to kowtow to you, would I?” said Li Qing.
“You’re a man. You should be responsible for your words,” Su Han said calmly.
“Su Han.”
Seeing that Li Qing had been pushed to his limit and had an impulse to let out all of his rage, Xiao Yuhui suddenly said, “I think you should let this one go. After all, Li Qing is an outer elder. You’ve also saved your face. I don’t think it’s really appropriate to make him kneel before you in front of so many people…”
“This has nothing to do with you.”
Before Xiao Yuhui could finish, Su Han extended a finger and shook it slightly. “Stay out of this.”
Hearing this, Xiao Yuhui sighed softly and revealed a helpless expression.
She knew that Su Han would never listen to anything she said.
Let alone her, with his temperament, Su Han probably wouldn’t listen to anyone.
“Su Han, my name is Bai Yu. I’m an inner elder in the Frost Cloud Sect and a good friend of Yuhui. I heard that you’re Yuhui’s brother-in-law and have long wanted to make your acquaintance. Now, I finally have the chance.”
Bai Yu walked up with a thick smile. “I wonder if you could let this one off the hook for my sake. After all, if this gets out of hand, it wouldn’t be good for anybody. Wouldn’t you agree?”
“You have a crush on Yuhui, don’t you?” Su Han suddenly asked.
Bai Yu froze, wondering to himself how in the world Su Han found out.
As for Xiao Yuhui, she simply rolled her eyes, annoyed that Su Han had decided to bring this up now.
“Since you like Xiao Yuhui, then go after her. But stay out of my business,” Su Han added.
“With so many people looking, especially since a large portion of them is going to join the Frost Cloud Sect, how will the Frost Cloud Sect uphold its reputation if Li Qing really kneels to you? He’s an outer elder, so how could he possibly kneel for a disciple?” Bai Yu continued to say.
“If he knows that he’s an outer elder, then what did he say all that shit for? If I had lost, wouldn’t I still have to hand out the dozens of millions of gold pieces I owe them? Why do I have to uphold my promise when I lose, but they don’t have to uphold their promises when I win?” Su Han smiled coldly.
Hearing the words ‘gold pieces’, Ping Yuzi suddenly shuddered violently. He had been in a state of shock, and only now was he reminded that he still owed Su Han twenty million gold pieces.
Not only did he owe Su Han the twenty million gold pieces, Ping Yuzi had also promised to pay for everyone else if they lost when he made the bet with Su Han.
Now, after Su Han won gracefully and with absolute strength in a beautiful comeback, Ping Yuzi suddenly had an urge to puke blood.
Twenty million gold pieces!
His entire fortune consisted of twenty million gold pieces. There wasn’t at all enough for him to be helping anyone else.
“Su Han.”
Ping Yuzi took a deep breath and said, “Your physique is indeed powerful and you have done what no one else has done by infusing more than half of the blood in the seventh pool. I admire you for that. After you enter the sect, I will also tell the sect leader of your accomplishments. Even if you don’t get first place in this competition, I will make sure you enjoy the resources that are as good as the first place’s prizes.”
“Oh?”
Su Han raised an eyebrow and looked at Ping Yuzi, who was now struck with fear. Then, Su Han slowly uttered, “You owe me money.”
Hearing this, Ping Yuzi almost couldn’t resist the urge of puking blood.
“You’re obsessed with money!” Ping Yuzi cursed.
Ping Yuzi had only said all of that to get on Su Han’s good side. Ping Yuzi hadn’t expected that Su Han would be unfazed by all of that and ask so directly for money.
“As well as all of you.”
Su Han turned around and looked at all the others. “Don’t forget. All of you owe me ten thousand gold pieces each. After the competition, I’m going to have to collect that from you one by one.”
Damn, what a money-grubber.
Humph, it’s just ten thousand gold pieces. What’s the hurry?
What the hell? This bastard really won? Several thousand of us couldn’t beat one of him?
Although everyone that Su Han looked at hung heads and said nothing, they actually secretly cursed Su Han hundreds and thousands of times.
Except for people like Hu Zhengyao and Yang Lin, who had come from county capital cities, ten thousand gold pieces were still quite costly.
“What’s happening now? Are you really not going to uphold your promise?” Su Han looked towards Li Qing again.
“Do you really have to make me kowtow to you?”
Li Qing clenched his teeth and said, “How about this? Three million gold pieces. One million for each kowtow.”
“That’s alright. I’m not short of money,” Su Han said indifferently.
“Then the deal is off!”
Li Qing’s eyes were about to spray fire. “You think I’m going to kowtow to you? Hah, in your dreams!”
“If you don’t kowtow, then I’m going to break your legs!” Su Han suddenly said.
Li Qing paused for a while. Then, he immediately burst into laughter.
“Hahaha, break my legs? I have never seen such a cocky person ever since I became a Frost Cloud Sect outer elder. Today I would like to witness how you’re going to break my two legs!”
Everyone looked over at this moment, thinking that Su Han was being too cocky. After all, Li Qing was still an outer elder. How could Su Han spew out such bold words?
Moreover, Li Qing was a late stage Dragon Blood Realm cultivator and was about to reach the peak. He had also amassed several dragon techniques after having stayed in the Frost Cloud Sect for a few years. Li Qing was on a different level from all those other regular late stage Dragon Blood Realm cultivators.
As the crowd watched, Su Han’s eyes suddenly turned cold, and he rushed towards Li Qing without any more nonsense.
Li Qing had it coming. Previously, Li Qing had done his best to mock Su Han. He had done everything to hurt Su Han except for physically hitting him.
If Su Han had let him off the hook now, then he wouldn’t be worthy of his past life’s title: the Ancient Fiend Dragon Emperor!
