Beware of the Villainess! - Chapter 28
As I called out Jack’s name with added emphasis, he flinched.
“Fuck off before I pull out all your hair and make a carpet out of it. If you have something to say, then call on me officially and chatter all you want. Right now, I don’t feel like listening to whatever barking you have to do.”
“Now, wait-”
“I said shut up.”
At my chilly gaze, Jack’s lips moved in vain before he shut his mouth.
“And Jake Podebrat. First, get the fuck down here, you bastard.”
At my shout, Jake hesitated with an expression that asked, why should I, but after seeing the dangerous look in my eyes, he obediently came down from the roof.
“Are your two eyes mere accessories? Despite being part of the Podebrat Household, how can you not see that your own people are frightened and your house is collapsing? You’re doing such a great job as the future Duke that all the Duke Podebrats throughout the ages would rise up from their grave to belly dance.”
The nearby servants who had watched them fight while shivering in fear nodded their heads like crazy.
“Understand that both of you are strong and go use your strength in the right place. Are you the genius sniper and noble werewolf just so you can go torture some weak people?”
Finally, I spoke while tightening my core and almost growling.
“If you understand, then one of you get the fuck out, and the other makes reparations. Now.”
Both of them hesitated but immediately sprang into action when I picked up the nearby leg of what used to be a table.
Only then did my blood pressure that had risen way above my head calm down somewhat.

“Oh, my fate…….”
I groaned as I laid down.
“Milady……..”
“Milady, are you alright?”
Why is Yona, the monster born from capitalism, if given money, could even stay by the side of a villainess, bustling around my bed?
Now that I look carefully, the servants who had been at the site of the chaos earlier were present. I was confused because they all had expressions of worry or being deeply moved. Normally, they would have run away hurriedly in fear when they saw me.
“I was deeply moved by the figure of milady earlier, milady.”
“It was the figure of someone who thought about lowly servants like us…….”
“You were so cool when you confidently shouted at young master and that werewolf! Thank you so much!”
Ah ha. I let out a smirk.
Now that I think about it, working as a servant at the Podebrat Estate was a job. To clean up the messes of the three members of Podebrat, who were well-known for their bad personalities, was not easy in the end. If it wasn’t for the very high wage, it wouldn’t have been odd if they quit, as it was a position that involved not only a great deal of physical labor but also a great deal of emotional labor.
In such a place, it seemed my actions of taking care of them in the chaos earlier had brought them to tears.
Though it was more due to anger than them……. This kind of misunderstanding wasn’t too bad either.
“It was nothing. Rather, all of you suffer quite a great deal. We should always be the ones to be thankful.”
At my words, their expressions looked to be at the verge of tears.
Guys…….. It seems you were starved of any warmth.
As I felt the slightly unusual guilt and regret, I resolved to treat the servants far better from now on.
After I had sent back the emotional servants, who looked as though they would soon take a vow of loyalty, I leaned back on the mattress.
“Whew……..”
Today was the first time that the two prodigal bastards listened to my words. As it was the first time they had seen me so angry, it seemed they became flustered that their bodies moved obediently to my orders.
From now on, they wouldn’t listen to me, an aristocratic lady they could fatally harm with a flick of a finger, even if I shouted. As a result, I required the words of destruction, and something else; I needed physical strength.
