Big Bodhi - Chapter 1
Chapter 1: Mountain Ghost
At the same time. Poking open the lush green branches, he lowered his gaze and looked at the clear stream under his feet, in which a slender young man was faintly reflected. “Where is this?” The young man lowered his body, held a handful of stream water in both hands and wiped his face. The cold feeling of bone penetrated his cheeks, and he became much more conscious for a while. This mountain stream is backed by the sun and is not exposed to the sun all year round, so this clear stream is so shady. Boom!
Without warning, a long and powerful bell rang all over the mountains.
The young man barely stood up, and bursts of powerlessness invaded, almost causing him to fall into the narrow stream.
I lowered my head and took a closer look at myself. The black brocade robe woven from satin had been hung out of branches with a lot of damage. The long dark hair had lost the shackles of the hairpin, and it hung down a little scattered against the beautiful white cheeks. .
“My name is Ji…”
The young man frowned, barely remembering his last name, but a sharp pain like a needle came from the centre of his brows extremely abruptly, causing his memories that had just a clue to fall into chaos again.
Boom!
The second bell rang again, but it was much sharper than before, and there was a faint sense of inexplicable weirdness, which made people shudder.
The young man squatted down and dipped his head directly into the clear and translucent stream.
After a few breaths, he raised his head from the cool stream, and the severe pain in the center of his eyebrows was relieved a lot.
He stretched out his sleeves and wiped a handful of drops of water on his face at will. He sat down on the bank of the stream and breathed a sigh of relief.
Boom!
The sound of the third bell spread all over the mountains and fields!
The harsh and resentful screams followed the bell directly through his ears and reached the deepest part of his mind, causing the boy to shudder subconsciously.
“What the hell is this sound? The bells of ordinary mountain temples would never be so weird. ”
Before the murmur fell, two consecutive translucent sonic ripples came from a great distance, directly lifting the young man a few feet away, causing him to hit a towering rock fiercely on top of it.
Flesh and blood splattered.
After a few breaths, the young man reluctantly sat up, tremblingly stretched out his hand and touched his forehead on the left side, where there was a sharp pain like a tear.
Blood flowed down his cheeks, and the pain that was coming from the injury all the time almost caused him to faint.
But when he raised his head and saw the third translucent bell pattern slowly spreading from the height of the mountain range, he didn’t have time to hesitate, turned over and rolled with all his strength, and rolled straight into the narrow and deep mountain stream on his side. .
After a while, more violent sonic ripples swept across than before, and the earth shook, the gravel collapsed and splashed, and even the stream of water was cut off.
……
Tick.
“My name is…Ji Yuenian. ”
The young man raised his head and looked at the intermittent drops of water dripping between the crevices of the rocks, and most of his face was covered with blood scabs that had not been completely coagulated.
He finally remembered his name in the few memories left.
Ji Yuenian leaned back on the damp rocks at the bottom of the stream and slowly relaxed. The wound on the forehead was shocking, and even the flesh and blood rolled out, which looked extremely hideous at first glance.
After looking up and looking around where he was for a week, Ji Yuenian realized that this place was simply a dead end, and the mouth of the stream that had just tumbled down had already been tightly blocked by dense rocks.
He shook his head slightly, lowered his body, and wiped his face with a handful of cold stream water in a sunken stone depression.
After cleaning up the blood stains on his face a little, regardless of the cold and dampness here, Ji Yuenian sat down directly in this dark and narrow mountain stream and closed his eyes.
His physical strength is really too scarce, and only after one or two rest and barely recovering can he try to push away these dead rocks.
I don’t know how long it took, the sky light revealed in the crevices of the rocks had completely disappeared without a trace, and it was already late at night.
Opening his eyes with some effort, Ji Yuenian woke up from his deep sleep, and was greeted by a desperate silence and darkness.
His mouth was as dry as fire, and he stretched out his hands in the darkness to grope for the rock in front of him.
After touching it for a while, Ji Yuenian could feel the stone depression with a little stream of water remaining, picked up a handful of cold stream water and sent it into the mouth, and gradually moistened his lips and teeth.
“This place is so humid and gloomy, if you can’t escape in a short time, I’m afraid you will really die in this mountain stream.”
Ji Yuenian’s thoughts flowed, and he tried again to recall the forgotten memories, but what responded to him was still the increasingly severe needle pain in his heart.
Suddenly, a cold wind blew across his cheeks.
Ji Yuenian was struggling with the pain in the centre of his eyebrows, but at this moment he was suddenly startled, and his body felt a little trembling uncontrollably.
This place has been blocked by rocks, leaving only a few extremely small gaps, how could there be such a strong wind?
The pale halo of light gradually filled the mountain stream, dispelling all the deep darkness. Ji Yuenian could already perceive it very clearly, and he didn’t know when there was an extra shady breath behind him.
“Who is it? ”
After fixing her somewhat flustered mind, Ji Yuenian turned her head abruptly, but what caught her eye was a beautiful girl in a snow-white dress.
The girl stood in the air with her bare, slender and white feet, her long dark hair hanging down to her waist, her snow-white dress was glowing with a shallow moon-white halo, and her delicate little face had picturesque eyebrows and eyes, which were extremely beautiful.
She lowered her gaze and looked at Ji Yuenian carefully, and the smile on her face bloomed like melting ice and snow, and even the dark and cold mountain stream seemed to be filled with a little warmth that didn’t exist in essence.
But the next moment, Ji Yuenian’s pupils suddenly contracted.
The corners of the girl’s blushing lips have widened to the limit, but she is still splitting towards her ears. After a few breaths, her beautiful little face has completely turned into a terrifying face that only exists with hideous mouthparts!
“What a fresh stranger.”
A hoarse and unpleasant voice came from the squirming mouthparts on the girl’s face, and bursts of cold breath invaded, washing Ji Yuenian down from head to toe, and it was even colder than the stream under her feet, thousands of times colder.
