Chapter 30: I’m Finished, I’ve Been Exposed

Luo Tiantian skillfully jumped from the front passenger seat to the back passenger seat and drew the curtains shut.

“Wow, you’re quite nimble.”

Sister Jing whistled. “Does my brother know just how impressive his fiancée is?”

“…” Luo Tiantian stiffened.

She was done for. She had been exposed.

She frowned in frustration and replied innocently, “Sister Jing, I’ll always be Uncle’s darling. You can’t complain about me!”

As she finished her words, she even mischievously winked.

Xue Feijing squinted. “You’d better not betray my brother. Otherwise…”

Luo Tiantian immediately cut in and promised. “Don’t worry, Sister Jing. I will never betray Uncle.”

“That had better be true.” Xue Feijing sneered. “It’s true that everyone around him is like black sesame dumplings. They taste bad and greasy.”

“No, Sister Jing. You’re mistaken. I’m a fruit-flavored donut. You’ll never get sick of eating it.”

Luo Tiantian continued as she opened the bag, “Sister Jing. If you’re interested, you can have a taste.”

“…” Xue Feijing glanced in the rearview mirror speechlessly. “I don’t like women.”

“Er…” Luo Tiantian shrugged regretfully. “That’s such a pity.”

“Luo Tiantian, what’s going on? Are you not putting on an act anymore?”

Xue Feijing glared at her.

Luo Tiantian replied innocently, “In Sister Jing’s fiery eyes, disguise is just child’s play.”

“Humph! At least, you’re smart.” Xue Feijing smirked. “You’re not like those foolish monkeys.”

Luo Tiantian immediately retorted, “No, I’m an adorable little sweetheart!”

During the conversation, Luo Tiantian had already put on an elegant lacy dress from the autumn collection.

She was already elegant and exquisite, to begin with. After putting this dress on, she seemed even more attractive.

“Well, you’re indeed suited for the entertainment industry.”

Xue Feijing glanced at the rearview mirror before tossing two envelopes behind her. Luo Tiantian quickly caught them.

“I don’t care what your relationship with the Luo Corporation is, but you have to take the high road if you want to compete with her.”

After a pause, she continued, “Don’t worry. Xue Feimo has your back. You don’t have to be afraid of anyone.”

With that, she suddenly slammed on the brakes and stopped by the roadside.

She turned to look straight at Luo Tiantian. “You should be able to do that, right?”

Luo Tiantian’s gaze was complicated. “Sister Jing, how did you…”

Before she could finish her sentence, Xue Feijing cut in. “Little Feather has been investigating you.”

“Little Feather?”

Luo Tiantian was lost in her thoughts.

“Gu Qiyu. You guys have met.”

Xue Feijing was calm. “As a manager, I have to have a good understanding of my artistes.”

“Yes, I understand.” Luo Tiantian nodded and replied obediently, “Don’t worry, Sister Jing. I’ll listen to you.”

Xue Feijing nodded. “From what I know, the Luo Corporation’s young mistress will enter the entertainment industry in three months’ time. The Luo family has been preparing for it. If you want to get a foothold before she does, the best way will be to attend variety show live-streams and hope that you become popular overnight.”

Luo Tiantian replied, “Yes, I agree.”

“There are three variety live-stream shows that I think are good in that envelope. Read through it and make your own choice.”

“Alright. I’ll look through them carefully. Thank you, Sister Jing,” Luo Tiantian replied gratefully.

Xue Feijing raised her eyebrow. “If you’re really grateful, I wouldn’t mind listening to your story about the Luo Corporation.”
