It had almost been a month since Qin Zhiyou left that day.

He seemed to have cut his hair short, and become skinnier. Dressed in red, the color suited him and he looked as good as usual. As he did not button his polo shirt, it made the outfit more casual. With the charismatic smile on his face when he got on the stage, he easily won the hearts of all the ladies present.

Taking the microphone from the host, he greeted the crowd with a bright smile. “Thank you, everyone, for coming to Han Hai and taking part in our events. Today is the five-year… anniversary of our mall.”

He paused here for a moment and noticed Lu Weixi, who was dining on the second floor when he looked up. Their eyes met, and Lu Weixi felt that his pause had another meaning to it. Somewhat surprised and a little indignant.

“… We welcome all the customers here to take part in our lucky draw for a chance to win one of our three prizes. First prize is a four-day, three-night maiden voyage on Han Hai Cruises. Second prize is a gold bangle from Zhang Shengsheng, and the third prize is an Orange brand phone.”

After he spoke, he interacted with the emcee a little before he left, guided by the workers. He did not look at her, nor did he send her any messages. It was as if their eyes meeting earlier was an illusion.

But Lu Weixi instantly put the matter behind her and continued with dinner. Even Xue Feifei was speechless at her nonchalance.

After dinner, Xue Feifei had planned to watch a movie and go to a spa, but her manager suddenly called.
