Childcare Diaries - Chapter 124
Chapter 124
“Wow… Marie, is it a monster?”
Brielle asked, pointing to a picture of the grey-shaped eyes.
“Yes? Monster?”
“This.”
Embarrassed by Brielle, who asked if it was a monster she drew, Marie stuttered.
“Ah…. ”
As she was about to speak politely to Brielle again, she could not adapt to it.
“When we are together, please speak comfortably. I’ll be careful when there are people.”
“I can’t do it…”
Saying so, Brielle gazed at her with a serious look as she grabbed the cheeks that were still full of baby fat.
“Huh. If you spoke to me politely, it sounded like someone else.”
Marie asked again at the child’s words.
“That’s why you asked me to change your title?”
“If not, then why?”
Even though she naturally thought it was because of others, there was such a cute reason. Marie pulled him in her arms.
“We’re not different because of the title. Now we’re a family.”
“Yes. That’s right. Then spoke to me comfortably.”
Brielle, who easily changed his heart, focused on the painting again.
“But Marie… then what is this?”
“…I drew clothes.”
“Clothes?”
He frowned at the gray things that were clothes before he asked.
“Where?”
“This is…the suit… and here are the buttons…”
Compared to the old insects, she still had not improved her drawing skills.
“Uncle draws pictures really well. You can ask for his help. ”
“I want to draw and gift it myself.”
“Gift?”
At that point, Brielle’s cheeks began to swell while Marie raised her hand and took the cheek.
“Why did you get grumpy again?”
“What about me? Do you have any gift for me?”
“Well, would you be okay to draw you this?”
“Yes. It doesn’t matter. It’s Marie’s drawing.”
Although he had his own portraits drawn by the most famous painter in the Kingdom, he still coveted Marie’s paintings more.
“All right. Then, I will draw you next time. “
“Hehe, good.”
The next moment, the smiling Brielle said again, looking at the picture again.
“Marie… I think it’s better to just draw uncle’s face.”
And agreeing with the child’s words, she eventually removed the picture of the suit.
It was only when the sun had set that Marie washed up and returned to the bedroom. Meanwhile, Kentrail came first and changed his clothes.
“Come here.”
He saw her wrapping her wet hair in a towel and called her to the bed. Then, as Marie sat in front of him, he towel-dried it with a meticulous hand.
“Are you too busy these days?”
She laughed because she had already heard from the butler that he had gone to look for her.
“Huh? Why are you not answering and just laughing?”
“Haha, it’s just. I have something to do.”
“That’s why I have a sense of crisis.”
“A sense of crisis?”
“Yes.”
Kentrail said so, leaving the towel on the floor and turning her to face him.
“Are you feeling bored of me?”
“What?”
Asking back, Marie gazed at him with a surprised face.
“You leave me alone too much. I think I have to pull myself together.”
As he said so, Kentrail laid down to the side and bent his arms before staring at her. Marie noticed that he was joking because of his naughty eyes.
“What is it? I was surprised because I thought you were misunderstood. What do you mean bored?”
“Well, I’m half serious. I thought you were tired of my beauty. ”
He knew about it when he got married that she liked his appearance. So now, he was even smiling while bringing it up.
Marie, who gulped, shook her head and emphasized that it was never like that.
“Then tell me I’m pretty.”
“Yes… you’re pretty.”
If the butler were to hear this statement, he would probably be stunned. Nevertheless, Marie, who was worried about why he liked that expression, moved and approached him.
Marie was on a strange mountain. No matter how high the height was, it couldn’t be compared to the Capital of the Kingdom, which seemed small. The royal castle, which was only gorgeous, seemed to be nothing here.
“Count! Young Master! Ellie! Berry!”
Even though she looked around and called everyone one by one, she heard no answer. She was alone in a place she didn’t know, but strangely Marie didn’t feel terrible.
Rather, she felt a cozy sense.
‘…What happened? Is it in a dream?’
She couldn’t stay here, it was time for her to move. The whirlpool began to blow from the nearby cliffs.
“Huh…?”
Marie approached the cliff, finding the vortex not scary and felt the wind. The next moment, a black creature suddenly rose up.
“No way… A dragon?”
It was a dragon that Brielle had liked since childhood. The dragon watched Marie from the cliff as she did not avoid the eyes. While it was amazing, as this was her first time seeing it, she felt cordial as she raised her hand.
Soon, something began to shake her body. The dragon looked at her and smiled.
“Marie, Marie!”
When the dragon’s scales passed her hand, she woke up from her dream. Looking back, Kentrail was holding her hands and waking her up.
