Childcare Diaries - Chapter 90
Marie, who Brielle was looking for, had been in the garden with Taylor since morning.
“…So, it’s eleven months old?”
“Yes. Would you like to touch it?”
“Uh…”
After a moment’s hesitation, she placed her own hand over Taylor’s.
“Haha. You’re wondering if this child is going to misbehave, aren’t you the one who took care of the Young Master skillfully?”
He smiled broadly and looked at her. She and Taylor were sticking together. And, this scene was witnessed by Brielle, who was wandering around the mansion in search of Marie, through the window of the mansion.
Seeing this, his heart sped up.
‘No way… is Taylor the person Marie likes?’
Well… Thinking of it, it may be.
The person Marie, who was always with them, liked would be someone in the mansion. With that thought, Brielle’s steps got more impatient when he remembered his uncle smiling at her a few days ago.
‘…No.’
Brielle, who arrived on the first floor, started yelling at the two of them.
“What are you two doing!”
Then, he ran quickly and intervened between them.
“Young Master. You woke up early. I was trying to find you…”
Marie, who gazed at Brielle with sad eyes for some reason, tenderly removed the eyelashes that fell on his cheek.
“Why are you with Taylor since morning?”
“What? Oh…”
For some reason, Marie laughed as she felt like seeing Kentrail’s reaction to seeing her and Eujes together a few days ago.
“You’re not even answering.”
However, at that moment, he heard a whimper. The child’s head returned to find the target. Lifting his face and looking up, he saw something in Taylor’s hand.
Brielle’s eyes grew as big as they could.
“Wow…”
And then came the exclamation. It felt like he was at a loss for what to do while his feet were pounding.
“Would you like to say hi?”
Taylor lowered the puppy he was holding carefully to his eye level.
“Is it a dog?”
“Yes. Have you ever seen it up close like this?”
“Yes!”
Brielle was excited.
“Whose puppy is this? Is he living in a mansion now?”
“Ah… Young Master. This puppy is owned by Sir Taylor’s younger brother. He went out today so Sir Taylor brought it.”
At those words, Brielle’s ears seemed to droop. If he had a tail, it would have landed on the floor in disappointment.
“Would you like to try stroking it?”
Seeing the child like that, Taylor asked.
“Can I touch it?”
“Because it’s a baby, be gentle.”
“Yes.”
When Brielle heard the word ‘baby,’ he gently placed his hand on the back and released it with a very careful hand.
“It’s soft!”
“Right?”
Marie echoed the child’s words.
“What is the name?”
“That is…”
Taylor hesitated as if embarrassed.
“Why…? What?”
“…It’s very long.”
“What?”
At his reaction, Marie also urged with her eyes as if she was curious about the name.
“Don’t be surprised. It’s Grace Gorgeous Elegance Cutie Pretty Dog.”
“What…?”
At that, Marie burst into laughter.
“My younger brother is a late child, so he puts all the good words he knows.”
However, Brielle’s reaction was different from Marie’s.
“It suits it so well!”
“It is?”
“Yes. Grace Gorgeous… and um… um… dog.”
Brielle laughed as he scratched the back of his head embarrassedly as he couldn’t remember the name properly.
“Will the Young Master take good care of it today?”
“Is that okay?”
“Of course.”
“Hehe. Okay!”
The child raised his voice eagerly. He followed Taylor as he moved with the dog. Meanwhile, Marie gazed at Brielle, who left her, and wondered if he liked it so much.

Two heads poked over the dog’s house. It was Brielle and Ellie.
“So cute.”
Brielle gave a shush to Ellie, who exclaimed.
“Yes.”
As she quickly covered her mouth, Ellie’s gaze did not fall from the puppy. The puppy who fell asleep for a while was really cute. The two children’s cheeks twitched in happiness just watching the stomach go up and down.
“What is the name?”
“Uh… uh… dog.”
To Ellie’s question, Brielle said the name of the dog that got completely omitted.
“What a simple name for such a cute puppy.”
She touched the puppy’s head as if it was such a pity.
At the same time, Marie was watching the two children from afar. The two children, still young in her eyes, were like puppies. It was funny and also cute that they did not know what to do. Even Brielle forgot to wash his face.
“Let’s come over for lunch while the dog sleeps.”
As Marie approached her children, she spoke.
The two children showed refusal by reaching their hands behind their back and waving without even looking at her.
“I’m not hungry.”
“Me, too.”
The children, who ate a lot of snacks, also made the maid passing by laugh.
“If you eat well, you can take care of the puppy in the afternoon.”
Listening to that, Brielle lifted his head and finally looked at her.
“What if dog wakes up between our lunches?”
“Then, I will call you. Come on, let’s go eat.”
“Uh…”
In the end, Brielle got up reluctantly and ran down the hallway with Ellie. He was planning to eat quickly and come back to see the puppy again.

“Thank you.”
Gideon greeted Derek, who had been by his wife Finn’s side on behalf of him.
“It’s okay. Someone else would have done it, I hope you get well soon.”
Since his eye color was different from that of a normal person and he was so big, Gideon could see the other people in the hospital were afraid of Derek. His tone was harsh, but now he knew how deep and compassionate Derek was.
So, Gideon smiled.
Looking at it, Derek spoke as if he had suddenly thought of it.
“The doctor said that he would give your a free medical examination. Wouldn’t it be better to let her get treatment?”
Hearing those words, the smile on Gideon’s lips disappeared in an instant.
“…No. It’s not something that can be fixed here, so that’s fine.”
“Hoo… So, are you going to ask the wife to move house somewhere near the market? It would be easier to go to the hospital.”
His expression hardened at Derek’s words.
“We will take care of it.”
Gideon replied, drawing a line. However, he apologized immediately as if he thought it was rude for the person who helped and thought of them.
“Sorry. We also have a situation.”
“….”
That was exactly what Derek was curious about.
“I know that we are strange in the eyes of others. But for us, we are planning to end our lives by making choices that we will not regret. We have only done things we will regret so far.”
His eyes narrowed at Gideon’s words.
‘Does Gideon know about Brielle’s aunt’s incident… or is he an accomplice?’
As soon as he thought Gideon was an accomplice, he bit his teeth.
“My wife doesn’t know, but she sacrificed so much for me, and that’s how she ended up living like that. I’m so sorry.”
Because of Gideon who only talked vaguely, his heart has been getting stuffy.
“If it’s okay with you, can you bring my wife here? You can leave the care to her tonight.”
Derek, who was about to tell what kind of care to entrust to another sick person and that he would be here instead, stopped for a moment.
‘If Brielle’s aunt is here, the house will be empty. Then I can investigate them…’
Eventually, he nodded obediently, saying he would at the thought. At the same time, Gideon’s expression brightened at the thought that he would no longer be indebted to Derek.

“Will they be in touch?”
It was bright and half a day had passed, but when no one came, Barry asked Siege who was nervous.
“If they know anything.”
The two fell asleep in the morning and only woke up around noon.
“But, I want to ask something.”
Siege glanced at Barry and talked again.
“Are there many people who live like that? I know that the attendants sometimes come out from the royal palace.”
It seems that yesterday’s scene came as a big shock to him.
“Of course, it is. However, the almshouses are overcrowded and the supplies are scarce. It is not enough with only the attendants that come out of the royal palace. When the Count first launched his donation project, there must have been a great response.”
“Yes… is he still doing it?”
“Right. Though since he can’t just keep donating in that way, he was moving in the direction of providing productive jobs.”
“He is a wonderful person.”
Barry’s shoulders went up, knowing that it reflected her own sister’s opinion.
“Right. My Sister is also contributing to that.”
“Ah… Then, your sister is helping the Count?”
“At the foremost.”
Siege was envious of Barry, who could proudly talk about his family like that.
“I didn’t see the children today?”
“On the way to the annex, I saw that they had a box and they liked it so much and didn’t know what to do. Their faces are red.”
“Box…? What’s in it?”
“I don’t know. I didn’t ask, I just came. They get annoyed if I interrupt them just in case.”
Barry sighed deeply as he said that.
“The Young Master wasn’t like that, but he’s starting to look just like Ellie. When the two of them are having fun, it’s better not to interfere.”
Hearing that, Siege’s laughter erupted.
“Isn’t it because you couldn’t play properly with them?”
“How talented am I in childcare, don’t you know? When you have a baby later, you’ll be amazed at my parenting skills.”
“Are you going to have a baby?”
Siege, who was contemplating his vague future, shook his head.
“Right. How can you know that someone you will fall in love with at first sight will appear at any moment?”
He sneered at Barry’s story as if it was nonsense.
“Isn’t it faster for you to have children than me? You’ll have to give permission to the woman’s side instead.”
“I’m so popular.”
Even as he said those words, Barry secretly avoided Siege’s gaze as if he wasn’t confident.
The next day, someone who would bring blueness to the children came to the mansion for the first time.
