Xaviera frowned, “But didn’t all the perfumers involved in the Mamet Corporation’s perfume research sign contracts? If they suddenly left, they would have to pay significant amounts in breach of contract fees.”

“Boyd Drew paid the penalty and offered them high salaries. They couldn’t resist the temptation and left for the Drew Group,” said Caleb Mamet indifferently.

Xaviera skimmed over the perfumers’ profiles; they were all old employees who had worked for the Mamet Corporation for over ten years. Yet, they still couldn’t resist the temptation of money. Although the Mamet Corporation’s salary was already pretty high within its industry, the fact that Boyd Drew could poach them suggests that the offer must have been almost ridiculously high enough to get them to breach their contracts and join the Drew Group.

“The Mamet Corporation has more than just these few perfumers, so it shouldn’t have too much of an impact on them. Even if they don’t launch a new product this year, it doesn’t matter. The sales of their previous perfumes have always been excellent!” Xaviera said in confusion.

Caleb Mamet responded with a meaningful smile, “We all underestimated Boyd Drew. Not only did he get four perfumers, but he also hired the internationally famous perfumer, Sally.”
