Chapter 62
“Whoa… Wait a moment. The weeds are crushed. It must be a trace of them walking here. I think we need to be careful from here.”
“It’s time to take out what we prepared earlier and apply it.”
Sylvia rummaged through the bag with a stiffened expression at Noel’s words. The product she asked to prepare was none other than green camouflage cream. When she heard that the faces of the group wearing cloaks that went to the market were green, she thought of putting on makeup of a similar color to theirs.
No matter how many things from the real world were in the game, there was no military camouflage cream in the villa, so the butler gave her a creamy lotion made with a mixture of green pigments in a hurry.
The three of them spread a bunch of green cream on all their visible skin.
“Will this help us in raiding the dungeon?”
“We have to do something.”
They put on the green cream, but they couldn’t hide their distinguished appearance. The cute Sevis and the handsome Noel looked like alien princes with the green cream. Limbo opened its eyes gently and looked at Sevis, then smiled broadly and scoffed.
“Look at that, it’s making fun of me again. That guy is really rude.”
“You have a big imagination, Sevis. How can Limbo be making fun of you…”
As Sevis grunted, Sylvia shook her head and criticized him.
As they walked a little inside, a small waterfall appeared. As she approached the waterfall, Sylvia found a note in a crevice of the rock. It was a note with strange symbols and an unrecognizable language.
“As I thought, the monsters living here must have been the ones who delivered the notes to the village.”
“Just as expected.”
While Sylvia and Noel were talking about the note, Sevis wrapped his arms around him and trembled.
“I’m a little nervous now that we are really going in.”
“Pfft…”
Limbo laughed at Sevis’ shivering. Sevis stared at him for a moment. Noel walked ahead of the waterfall with a nervous look on his face. The waterfall was falling from a cliff, and as he approached it, a gap appeared between the streams of water to allow one person to enter.
“If we go through here, we can go to the temple.”
“We have to stand in line and go in.”
The horses were larger than a human, so it seemed difficult to pass through the gap. When Noel told his horse to go home and stay there until he called, it nodded and went back in autonomous driving. Limbo, however, shook its head.
“You want to follow us?”
Limbo nodded and neighed at Sylvia’s words.
“It won’t be a big deal. Okay, let’s go together.”
Deciding to take Limbo, the group groaned and tucked him inside the gap in the rock. They figured out it would be difficult for it to follow behind them as it had a big build. As they pushed Limbo into the gap, the horse’s body gradually went inside as if it was being crumpled. Limbo screamed a bit, but as the group pushed behind it, it went inside the gap, weepingly, and moved forward.
As she approached the end of the narrow boulder path, a message appeared before Sylvia’s eyes.

[Do you wish to enter the Forgotten Temple dungeon?]
———————————————
‘I’ll enter!’
When Sylvia shouted inwardly that she was going to enter, a sound effect came up, and Limbo was barely able to escape forward.
Pop!
As Limbo exited, their vision, which had been dark because of its torso, brightened, and the group knew they had entered the dungeon. There was a world ahead of them that was even more surprising than they had anticipated.
“Miss Sylvia, is it a desert?”
“… What is this?”
“Oh, my God.”
———————————————
[Welcome to the Main Dungeon 1: Forgotten Temple.]
———————————————
Behind the magnificent message in front of her eyes, was a vast desert. A rough sandstorm passed in between them. Standing in the hot scorching sunlight, it wasn’t long before sweat began to flow down from everyone’s bodies as if it was raining.
Sylvia frowned as she fanned herself.
“Ugh…”
She closed her mouth, which had been open for a moment, but she could still feel the grains of sand inside it.
As she was spitting, a quest window appeared in front of her.

[Required Quests
– Rescue the villagers (0/100)
– Purify high-level monsters (0/??)
Completion Reward: Dungeon Clear Treasure Chest
Failure: Dead End
* This is a required target story. Cannot skip.]
———————————————
A dead-ending on failure. Sylvia stared at the quest window with a stiff face. There was some comfort in knowing that when she died while targeting the handsome virgin men, it was because she was poking a persimmon she could not eat; but dying while fighting in a dungeon was literally for nothing. Sylvia shook her head and made up her mind with a resolute face.
‘Even if I die, I’ll die in front of handsome men…’
As she closed her eyes and shuddered, clenching her fists, Limbo glanced at her strangely.
‘In any case, it seems the villagers are indeed trapped in here. But 100? They kidnapped a lot…’
While Sylvia was lost in thought, Noel stared blankly at the desert, then sighed and shook his head.
“It changed so much more than I thought. I guess I shouldn’t have sent my horse home. How are we going to move like this…”
“There’s no helping it. I have no choice but to shapeshift.”
Sevis turned into a wolf so that he could move quickly. As soon as he finished speaking, the clothes he was wearing fell to the floor in an instant, and a black wolf with red eyes appeared in the pile of clothes.
Noel’s eyes widened in surprise at the sight of Sevis’ wolf form he was seeing for the first time, but he soon calmed down. However, Sylvia was rather surprised. It wasn’t the small, puppy-like wolf that she usually saw. It didn’t appear to be a full adult, but at least something in an intermediate stage between a puppy and a dog… Something like that.
“Sevis, your body…?”
“I told you. My original build is not like that!”
When Sylvia asked in surprise, Sevis confidently straightened his chest and raised his chin.
‘He wasn’t bluffing. But he’s cute because he’s still small… I shouldn’t say that.’
Sevis lifted his head high and sniffed, then lifted his foot and pointed in one direction.
“There’s a smell of food and unknown animals over there. Probably monsters. We’re lucky the wind is blowing.”
“That’s a relief. It was good of you to come. If only me and Mr. Noel had come, we would have been in big trouble.”
“… That’s true. Worst-case scenario, we would have gotten lost in the desert and unable to raid the dungeon properly.”
Noel had no choice but to acknowledge his usefulness. Sylvia breathed a sigh of relief. It was really fortunate that Sevis came with them. If they had fooled him and come only the two of them, she wasn’t sure if they would have been able to attack.
“Let’s go there. If there are monsters, we need to attack them.”
Noel and Sylvia rode on top of Limbo while Sevis was in his wolf form, and they quickly crossed the desert. Fortunately, Limbo was a horse that was stolen from a pagan, so it crossed the desert well without a problem.
Sevis, who had animal sensibility, stopped along the way—Limbo also had animal sensibility, but since it couldn’t speak, Sevis was predominant—and pointed forward.
“Those things crowding in front of the Oasis, are they monsters? We have to be ready for battle from here on out.”
Following his words and looking ahead, she saw the green creatures resting in front of the oasis far in the distance. Seeing that they were forming groups, it meant that they were more intelligent than the monsters that moved individually. She might have been a little nervous, unlike when they targeted the coastal cave and mudflat dungeons. Sylvia gulped at the tension.
The group, nervous and cautiously approaching the monsters, hid behind a rock and watched their movements. Looking at a green monster quietly, the name of the monster appeared in front of Sylvia’s eyes.
[Contaminated Green Orc]
The orcs lying idle were quite large. They lay asleep on the shore of the lake and drank the water of the oasis with their hands.
‘Do we need to purify those monsters?’
A quest message appeared in front of Sylvia as if to try to resolve her question.
———————————————
[Let’s hit the Green Orcs resting in the dungeon’s Oasis.
– Eliminate 50 Contaminated Green Orcs. Monsters defeated by party members are also included in the count. You don’t need to use purification skills unless they are high-level monsters. Let’s just beat them up.
Completion Reward: 3 HP Potions
Failure: Dead End]
———————————————
Purifying only high-level monsters and just beating these guys up? Sylvia’s eyes narrowed when she saw the quest window.
‘Simply put, they want me to beat the weak and purify the strong… Huh? They’ll give me three HP potions if I succeed?’
As soon as she saw the bottom of the quest window, she remembered buying just one potion for 300 gold. And at the same time, she remembered what Secret had said before she came out of the secret shop.
‘Even with the receipt, there are no exchanges or refunds… It’s over once you leave this place, pushov… I mean, dear customer.’
