Come Here, Tyrant! - Chapter 158
unedited
‘Still…..that’s good.’
There was no better news than this when she thought about Ejed. Now when she thought of him who wouldn’t be wary of others, her heart tingled.
It was her wish that Ejed become a monarch who was much respected and loved for his abilities. And, she’ll be by his side and she’ll work with him.
Annie said confidently.
“Now the international situation will change a lot.”
“Yes, yes. But, Miss. That’s not important now.”
Carla smiled meaningfully and beckoned out of the window. As Annie, puzzled, approached and looked at it, she saw a familiar carriage.
From the grand carriage, three men with outstanding looks even from afar disembarked.
A look of joy spread across Annie’s face.
‘Your Majesty.’
“Carla, prepare drinks and snacks for the parlor.”
“I wonder who it is. Then, welcome them well.”
Annie replied to Carla that she understood, and she hurried out of the door. It didn’t take her long to go from the hallway to the stairs and from the stairs to the garden.
Ejed could be seen under the reddish leaves that glistened in the sunlight. He stood there as if he had been waiting for her for a very long time.
“Annie.”
Why was she smiling so much at such a low call? Annie spoke to him in a bright voice.
“Welcome, Sir Ejed. And the two aides.”
Doher, who was standing a long way from behind, said quietly, and Fizz waved his hand.
She would be sad if she didn’t see the two of them anymore. The person she missed the most is Ejed.
“Can I enter the mansion? I’ve been invited by David before…”
“Why are you asking something that’s obvious? I’ve prepared snacks, so come on up and eat. Together with the two aides.”
At Annie’s answer, Ejed did not hide his joy. When his white teeth were exposed, she was excited too.
Today is her day off, so what brought Ejed here, and what has changed since that declaration?
Thinking about this and that, her mouth moved on its own. To this, Ejed responded in a very kind tone.
“Many officials apologized for the misunderstanding. And, Robbie kept coming to drink at night…”
“Oh, that’s why your face is a little swollen.”
“What?!”
In response to one question, ‘Is my face really swollen?’, ‘Is it strange?’, ‘I should have gotten rid of the swelling!’ It came with a genuine sense of humor.
Annie added, conscious of the aides holding back the laughter behind. It’s not weird at all, but rather cute.
Then Ejed became more fussy.
“…Nothing worked out because of Robbie.”
“I agree with that. It’s something that wouldn’t have happened in the first place if it weren’t for him.”
As he grumbled with regret, his complexion brightened slightly. He talked about it all the way into the mansion.
“From now on, we have decided to give penalty points to those who apologize for no reason during the meeting. In the meantime, there is a lot of wasted time because the flow has been cut off.”
“You did well. That’s right. I think it’s better to throw away the useless things.”
“Still, thanks to Annie, everyone is not afraid of me as before.”
“I heard that too. It’s very brave that I didn’t die. Haha. You say that I’m the first and the last to live this long going against your majesty’s planting?”
The two people sitting opposite each other in the parlor smiled. Now, just looking at each other’s eyes, they could read what each other wanted to say.
It was gratitude and boldness, and it was uniqueness and affection. The two faced each other and smiled with the same face.
Feeling as if the corners of her lips were tickling, Annie spread her fan and covered the corners of her mouth. Otherwise, she thought she would be caught up by the three men.
‘By the way. Why is Doher looking at me like that?”
Sitting on a chair a little further away from Fizz, Doher looked at Annie with a very open and happy smile. With a little exaggeration, it seemed like someone would give her even a house.
Fizz looked at her lovingly too, but she rubbed her eyes as if she was weary and sip her tea.
‘Anyway. They’re unusual.’
No matter where she goes and talks about the three most handsome men in the Imperial Palace, people won’t believe her.
She felt a sense of pride in the fact that she kept the secret only to herself.
‘This information is going to sell for a very high price.”
“Annie, what are you thinking?”
“…. Yes?”
“You were always looking behind you. Why? What more do you need?”
When did he notice? In a low tone, Ejedg stared at Dohyer. It is enough for Annie to be startled by how cold his eyes are.
Annie shook her head in denial and tried to tell a different story.
But Ejed was the first to speak up.
“Let’s throw the discus with me.”
“……Throw the discus?”
“Yeah. Lang and three of us.”
Ejed was not afraid of crowded places. He took one of the discs from his arms and said proudly.
When the weather is nice like this, it’s good to go outside and get some sun and exercise.
‘With His Majesty, Lang has more energy. Great.’
With no reason to deny it, Annie happily nodded her head. Exercising not only with Lang but also with Ejed was fun.
She was also delighted to just walk or ride a horse-drawn carriage with him. Even just talking about trivial everyday things.
She stared at Lang and the man doing the discus throw from the other side. For some reason, the place where he was, it was shining brightly.
When she saw the man smiling brightly, everything around her slowed down. Heat rose to her cheeks, and her chest swelled.
Annie’s eyes widened as she sensed the change.
“…..what?”
[ You really don’t know? ]
Annie tried to deny the sudden appearance of Carla’s voice. No, no.
But the next time she remembered, she stopped breathing.
[The Miss knows that best. ]
