Chapter 34: Discipline

Sure enough, Ye Anxin had just come to this conclusion when Huo Jiantian grabbed her hand and ran toward the door of the president’s office at lightning speed. He pushed open the door and went in without even knocking.

However, when she saw the scene inside the door, Ye Anxin’s small face suddenly flushed bright red. Even the base of her ears and the back of her neck became completely red.

Behind the desk in the huge office, a woman with a sexy body and voluminous wavy hair was sitting on a man’s lap. She had her hands wrapped around the man’s neck, and her entire body was tightly pressed against the man’s body. Her blood-red lips were kissing the man with great passion, and from time to time, she would moan sexily.

Ye Anxin saw the situation, and Huo Jiantian naturally saw it as well.

Huo Jiantian’s reaction was way beyond what Ye Anxin expected it to be. He didn’t start blushing like any normal children would have, nor did he cry out loudly. Instead, he walked directly up to the desk and forcefully pushed the woman off the man behind the desk. The woman, with no prior warning, was abruptly pushed to the ground.

This man…? He seemed to be the man she’d met at the KTV place last night. She remembered that his name was Huo Yunmo, wasn’t it?

The lights had been dim last night, and she hadn’t gotten a clear view of his face. But now, looking at him closely, she realized that he was really very handsome. He was wearing a dark-blue suit on a masculine tall, slender figure. He had tan skin, bold eyebrows, thin lips, and a long, straight nose and a pair of dark eyes that seemed to gleam from time to time. The aura he exuded was very ambivalent. At times, he seemed melancholic and at other times sulky or gentle, and sometimes he even seemed mischievous. All in all, he was someone who one wouldn’t ever forget after seeing one time.

Now, he simply sat there stiffly without any trace of lust or desire on his face.

The woman who had been pushed to the ground by Huo Jiantian got up and, rubbing her aching arm, asked coquettishly, “President Huo, who is he? Why did he run in so suddenly? That fall really hurt me.”

Huo Yunmo didn’t even look at her. He looked at Huo Jiantian, who had suddenly appeared out of the blue. He didn’t greet him or look surprised. He simply asked him a very ordinary question from a father to a son, “Why are you here? Today is Friday, so at this time, you should be at school.”

Huo Jiantian smiled slightly and then took Huo Yunmo’s arm and pointed at Ye Anxin, who was standing in a daze by the door. He said, “Dad, I got lost, but it is all thanks to this big sister that I found my way here because she brought me back. Otherwise, you might not have ever seen me again.”

Upon hearing what he had said, Huo Yunmo frowned a little, and his eyes gradually became filled with anger.

Upon seeing that Huo Yunmo was getting angry, Huo Jiantian shuddered and then scrunched up his neck and bit the bullet by saying, “Dad, please don’t get mad. Big sister brought me here to see you. You should go and thank big sister first. It won’t be too late to punish me after treating her to a meal or something.”
