Dear Eddert - Chapter 15
Chapter 15
Year 175th of the Imperial Calendar, spring.
10 months before the coronation of Crown Prince Christian.
Sernotti territory.
“Die, you idiot.”
“Who is the idiot?”
Chaeng!
The two swords that met in the air trembled with a sharp metallic sound. Walter grinned at Eden, who was staring at him so as not to be pushed.
“Do you think you can defeat me with your strength?”
Eden bit her lips and smiled.
“It’s not just about having sword power. Greenhorn.”
Chechaeng!
The blade moved sideways and her body disappeared in an instant.
Damn it. Which way is it?
He lost her direction as she ran away in a dusty wind. Eden giggled as she turned her head towards Walter who was looking for her.
“The saying that ignorance and power are proportional is just what to say when looking at you.”
Flap, flap.
Walter flew toward the yellow cornus leaves fluttering and falling. At the same time, Eden’s large sword, which had jumped down from hiding in a tree, pierced deep into the ground. It was a blow with momentum so hard that it was shoved into the dense soil so deep it reached the end of the sword’s handle.
“This. This. Won’t your sword break? Who said that ignorance and power are proportional. Did you speak of yourself before?”
“Shit….”
Eden rolled her eyes as she looked at Walter who was grinning. It was already too late to pull out the sword that was deeply embedded in the ground. Eden kicked her feet hard at Walter’s wrist as he ran towards her.
“I thought your wrists were still sore, so would you like me to give you a massage?”
“Wipe away your tears before you say it.”
“Don’t even beg me for help.”
At Eden, who laughed at him, Walter began to swing his sword relentlessly. A mess of leaves flew beside her as she rolled on the ground. Every time the heavy sword flew, a whirlwind blew like a tornado.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
As Eden rolled around and dodged his attack, she quickly grabbed the squirrel in her hand, trembling in shock at Walter’s sword.
“Haa, haa, I guess I’m a little more warmed up now… ?”
Eden put her hand on the ground and took a deep breath. Dirt and leaves stuck to her body, and she looked like a mess.
After gently releasing the squirrel that had grabbed the acorn from her hand, Eden smiled with a meaningful expression.
“Then, take this.”
It was when an instinctive foreboding as he saw her sweeping her hair, Walter quickly bent his back.
Whick!
A sharp dagger cut into a hexagon flew from her hand. It must have been hidden in her collar.
“Damn it!”
Walter let out a low swear word. If he had been a little late, his ear would have been cut off. The dagger that had brushed his temple was stuck in the tree behind Walter. He felt a tingling sensation on his cheek, and a small drop of blood ran down his cheek.
“Haha… ! Serves you right.”
Eden had climbed the tree to the top without hesitation, and was throwing a dagger at him without hesitation.
“If you get caught, really, I won’t let you go.”
It was Walter who was busy this time. He roared to and fro, avoiding the dagger, and growled.
“Good job, good job, good job!”
Eden chuckled as she watched him move as if he was performing a stunt. It was not clear who had secretly made an unauthorized dangerous weapon for Eden. It was clear that Goose, a blacksmith who was deaf in one ear, had been roasted and boiled in a coaxing manner.
“Huh! It’s a wild boar. It’s really big. It’s so angry right now!”
“You now… you really want to die at my hands… ?”
Walter gnawed his teeth towards Eden, pointing at her with his hand. She raised her voice as she ran towards a hanging tree.
“Oh, it’s true! Not you! Behind you!!!”
Walter’s dark eyebrows curled upwards. Swish, turning around, he saw an angry wild boar approaching, vigorously. The horns that soared toward the sky were sharp and pointed. It was the largest wild boar among wild boars. Walter’s eyes gleamed black and darkened.
“Walter! That’s mine! I’ll kill it. Get out of here!”
Walter raised his dark eyebrows as if to make fun of Eden who was screaming to get out.
“Did you write your name on the boar’s neck?”
Walter threw the sword he was holding at the top of the tree where Eden was sitting. Then he turned and clapped his hands hard once, and he started running opposite the rushing boar.
“Whoever gets the neck first is the one who gets it!”
He still couldn’t control his overflowing power, so his body was very itchy, but he thought it was okay.
Stomp! Stomp! Stomp!
“Hey! Walter!”
Eden stomped her feet on the tree, watching Walter go head-to-head with the large beast that was rushing at him.
“Oh, that ignorant bastard is really… !”
To lose the chance to be the beneficiary of this evening’s meat party. Eden gritted her teeth as she watched Walter start rolling on the ground, grabbing the horns of the wild boar with anger reaching the top of its head.
“Uwaaaa!!!”
Walter roared, pressing the beast’s head tight with his hard log-like forearms. Blue veins rose from his copper-colored skin as if it were about to burst.
As blood rushed to his thick biceps, his forearms were now the size of Eden’s thighs. At first glance, it looked like two beasts intertwined.
“You have to act like that in order to get rid of your intuition.”
Eden clicked her tongue and jumped off a large tree three times her height.
“Anyway, your personality is really weird.”
If anyone in Sernotti Castle had the most outstanding swordsmanship skills, except for her, it would be Walter Sernotti, who was now holding a wild boar with his bare hands, the eldest son of Valtri, who is the master of the family and the castle. Eden could not understand that guy Walter, who dared to go around to do things he could have done comfortably.
“Hey! Stop it and get out!”
“Unlike someone who is sly like anyone else, I’m full of strength.”
Grooowwl! Grr! Grr!
The wild boar, out of breath, screamed for life and struggled on all fours. It was such a great sight that she could feel pity for the wild boar, the main culprit who came down from the mountain and destroyed the crops of the people of the territory.
“I can’t. I’ll help you get going comfortably, piggy. Let’s have a nice dinner tonight.”
Swish!
The last remaining dagger from Eden’s hand flew into the air.
“I’ll kill you, Eden!”
Walter was tangled with a wild boar, and when he saw the dagger suddenly flying, he screamed in surprise.
“You almost got my arm cut off!”
“If you really don’t want your arm to be cut off, you better get out of the way.”
