Chapter 35 Set sail
He stared at the door of the airlock.
As soon as this thought appeared in his mind, Meng Lei immediately dismissed it.
The airlock was the only facility to enter and exit the submarine, and he had to pass through it every time he wore a diving suit to get into the water.
Most importantly, all the prey had to be dragged in from the airlock!
If he really did that, would he be able to eat fish in the future?
He felt disgusted just thinking about it…
“This doesn’t make sense! There’s actually no toilet in the submarine. Does one have to hold on to one’s bladder till death?!”
“Could it be that the mastermind behind this game is an alien who doesn’t need the
excretory system, so he neglected this critical problem?”
“But even if they’re aliens, they can’t all be so stingy!”
“Damn, this is very painful!”
Meng Lei subconsciously swung his legs, his forehead covered in sweat.
In the end, he ran to the central console of the submarine and turned on the channel communication system, trying to learn from the experience of other players’ encounters.
Seven to eight hours had passed. He did not believe that no one had encountered such a situation!
Tens of thousands of chat messages flashed crazily in the channel.
Although most people had already wasted their precious number of times they could speak, there were still many people chatting enthusiastically in the channel.
Meng Lei was not in the mood to care about the hot topics that others were currently paying attention to. He directly searched for keywords about toilets through the search system.
After investigating, he realized that not long ago, there were really quite a few people discussing this matter.
[Exclamation: Big guys in the channel, let me lightly ask you a question. How do you solve the problem of relieving yourself?! I don’t think there’s a toilet in my submarine!]
[Breakage: I’m asking the same question! I can’t hold it any longer. This submarine is too ridiculous. It doesn’t even have a bathroom. It’s causing a living person to die from holding their bladder!]
[Book Title: Friendly reminder that a unit of plastic can create a plastic bottle. The diameter of the opening can meet the requirements of most male compatriots. Female compatriots, please help yourself.]
[Female Warrior Deity: The fellow up there, what do you mean by that?! Gender discrimination?! I’ll smother you to death with a spittoon!]
[Omission: Heh, don’t you guys have brains?
Don’t you know how to make good use of the
Feng Shui treasured land in the airlock?! Wouldn’t it be cleaner than the toilet flush
when the sea pressure of 2,000-meter poured
in?]
[Indulgence: Awesome, the person above is
really brutal. The next time I bring fish into the
cabin, it’ll definitely change the taste…..]
[Starry Sky: One unit of steel can be used to
make an empty pail, and one unit of plant fiber can be used to make ten pieces of paper! When you go into the water, you can take the pail out. I have tested it personally; the pressure of more than 2,000 meters won’t cause it to become deformed. The rest, you can
personally…]
[Windcloud: Ahem… Speaking of which, all of
you are in this water group, and not going into the water to collect resources, can’t you take
the time to take a good look at the
manufacturing station?]
[The word ‘toilet’ is so obvious, can’t all of you
see it?]
[Plastic bottles… and even airlocks… and there’s even someone who actually uses a pail!]
[Is the Starry Sky going to leave the cabin to eat a seafood steamboat, or was it going to use shit to make a nest?]
[What a bunch of damn talents!]
Looking at the chat records of the other
players, Meng Lei could not help but laugh.
It was true that there were all kinds of birds in the forest. All kinds of fanciful excrement were simply unheard of!
Not to mention Omission, even he himself had almost wanted to use the airlock as a toilet just now. He was really ashamed.
Meng Lei closed the communication channel silently and returned to the manufacturing station with a tight mouth.
To be honest, he really did not expect that he
had to make this thing himself. After holding it in for half a day, Meng Lei
finally found the way to solve this. He was deeply ashamed.
He entered ‘toilet’ in the search bar.
A simple toilet icon appeared in the
manufacturing list.
Meng Lei pressed the manufacturing button with a conflicted expression and wiped his face
helplessly.
He really could not figure out where the toilet
could be installed in such a small living cabin. Moreover, if he had the chance to meet other
players in the deep sea in the future, both parties would lower their heads and hit each other in the face.
That scene was damn awkward.
A light blue virtual data stream flashed.
A simple milky-white toilet appeared in the corner of the living quarters.
In addition, the System thoughtfully installed a
ventilation system above the toilet bowl. The
exhaust pipe led directly to the airlock. This obviously perfunctory “thoughtful” device made Meng Lei’s mouth twitch uncontrollably. His facial muscles trembled twice
uncontrollably.
He silently went forward to empty his
accumulated wastes. The sound of water being flushed could be heard.
he
Meng Lei picked up the air mattress on the ground expressionlessly. Without a word, turned around and walked to the cockpit, then slammed the door shut.
He walked to the porthole and casually threw the mattress under his feet.
Meng Lei clenched his fists and stared at the endless darkness outside the window. He swore in his heart.
“When I have money in the future, the first
thing I’ll do is to replace this broken desolate
boat!”
“At the very least, It must be replaced with one that has a separate bathroom!” An obsession was born from this.
The reason was so simple and direct. Ever since he transmigrated, this was the first
time he had a strong desire to earn mileage
points.
Meng Lei took a deep breath and temporarily suppressed this obsession in his heart. He
turned around and sat back in the pilot seat. After three consecutive upgrades, the detection range of the sonar detection system had expanded to 2,000 meters!
An invisible sound wave surged outward with Bottomless Valley as the center.
A large amount of feedback data was calculated and summarized, and finally, presented before Meng Lei in the form of three-dimensional
graphics.
Meng Lei took in everything within two kilometers of Bottomless Valley.
More anomalies emitted a scarlet glow that flickered on the three-dimensional map. Meng Lei briefly looked at the notification given by the game cheat.
In this flat sea area of two kilometers, there were no other alien planet sea monsters.
Most of the anomalies were plant resources or sporadic ores.
It seemed that the aberrant horned snake he
had killed previously was the only lord of this
sea area.
Based on the simple principles that accumulating small amounts can make more, and that diligence can make up for shortcomings, Meng Lei memorized the coordinates of the gravity ball and then steered
the submarine. He spent nearly two hours scanning most of the anomalies within a two-kilometer radius. His harvest was not bad. As he continued to move, although more anomalies would appear on the three-dimensional topographic map, in order to prevent the gravity ball from being lost
again, Meng Lei did not continue to go deeper. However, when he returned, he realized that
the gains from the gravity ball this time were
far inferior to before.
After maintaining the gravity trap for more than two hours, it only managed to haul in less
than twenty fish, among which were several
dazed jellyfish.
After some observation, Meng Lei discovered
that the fish population in the sea nearby was obviously much smaller. The boundless lavender sea of flowers was still
there, but it seemed cold and cheerless. It was
no longer as rich and lively as before. Meng Lei frowned slightly. He realized that there was an 80% chance that
this phenomenon was due to his wanton
hunting in the vicinity.
In a short period of time, those fish would
probably not return.
However, it had been four to five hours since
he arrived in this sea area. Not only did he kill an alien planet sea
monster, he also completed a significant
upgrade of the submarine. It could be said that
he had gained a lot! There was no need to stay any longer.
Meng Lei immediately decided.
It was time to set sail and head deeper into the sea abyss!
