Everybody is Kung Fu Fighting, While I Started a Farm - Chapter 553
Chapter 553: Holy Herbs
The bounties Jiang He posted were quickly publicized with the Three Realms’ information network, reaching out across the celestial battlefields in days and rapidly passing through every existent world.
Countless cultivators were attracted by the offer.
The untitled cultivators were especially rubbing their palms, unable to wait to go for it.
Some of them were elites who had wandered over endless eras after their own race was wiped out. For them, the risk was nothing in comparison to the treasures and the chance to strengthen their abilities.
Likewise, the bounties left the Gods, Demons, machine race, and insectoids utterly stunned.
The Saints of those four hegemons were all shaking with rage, going out in public bent on capturing Jiang He, only to be stopped by the True Lord of Morality.
“The Saints of us Three Realms have never interfered when your Demi-Saints hunted Jiang He, and yet you would interfere now that Jiang He returns the favor?”
He was exceedingly firm on his stance, but the Saints of the machine race and insectoids both threatened him, declaring themselves neutral races with no intention to be a part of the war between the Three Realms against the Gods and Demons, and that they would mobilize their forces if their hands were pushed.
“And what were you doing when your Demi-Saints hunted Jiang He?”
The True Lord of Morality flew into a rage in the middle of the cosmic reaches, his Dao presence erupting as he maimed one of the machine Saints with a single slap and coldly said, “Does the machine race and insectoids have the guts to threaten us Three Realms now?”
Neither the Saint of the machine race or the insectoid dared to speak at that.
“We’ll leave the young ones to their own squabbles. ”
“It’s not as if Gods and Demons are so easily killed!”
The patriarchs of the Gods and Demons both spoke out at that, setting the tone for the matter and acknowledging that they would stick to the Saints’ accords. They would therefore not meddle in affairs of those beneath Sainthood, thereby ignoring Jiang He’s bounty as well.
Be that as it may, Lord Swelling Sky of the Gods stepped up and threatened icily, “I can turn a blind eye to the bounty, but I will have Jiang He’s head for insulting me directly!”
“Kill him if you can.”
The True Lord of Morality was not concerned at all.
After all, Lord Swelling Sky was just a novice Saint and was not even a match for the Lesser Saint of the Western Sect.
Even his own Demi-Saint disciple would overwhelm him with his three sacred items, not to mention that Jiang He had more potential than his brother… who just might be able to kill Lord Swelling Sky.
“Since Jiang He has posted a bounty on you four races, you naturally could post bounties on elites of the Three Realms as well. However, any Saint that disregards our accord and attacks personally are not to blame me for not holding back.”
With those words, the True Lord of Morality spurred his blue ox and left as a flash.
“Master, could you not ride me when you meet the Saints?”
“My legs are shaking, you know… you wouldn’t be afraid if the others start fighting at the drop of a hat, but any of that impact touching me would vaporize me!”
The blue ox’s complaints resounded faintly over outer space.

Meanwhile, Jiang He was meditating on his own body in his Farm, with various phenomena forming and then dispersing in the air.
He stayed like that for ten days, and he slowly opened his eyes to exhale a length breath of turbid air, sighing. “I’m finally full-fledged Demi-Saint… the years I’ve spent farming were really well-spent.”
He has now completed his cultivation as a Demi-Saint, as well as a fourteenth-tier martial artist!
Right now, he was now another individual who was peerless barring the Saints.
“I’m probably equal in ability to the Nether River Patriarch and the Daoist of Many Treasures, though that is if he did not have the Three Treasures for the case for the latter… I may have some developed divine techniques that combines physical and spiritual attacks, but would cultivators of their level really not have any ultimate techniques to protect themselves?
After reaching Demi-Saint, Jiang He rested for three days and played with his maids.
He had planted the pellets he traded from the Jie Sect, but he earned just over eighty billion Farm Points.
It left him bothered that there was no reaction from the dozens of Demi-Saint corpses.
“Maybe I need to keep leveling my farm since Demi-Saints are too high-ranked to bear fruit.”
“There’s no reacting from the fragments of the God-Killing Spear either… I wonder if it’s difficult to plant a complete innate paragon treasure from fragments, or it’s just because my farm level is too low…”
Turning towards the System, he saw that he had long since gathered the required EXP, and the conditions to level up his farm were displayed.
First, three Demi-Saint corpses.
That was not difficult since there were dozens buried just over there.
Second, three Star Cores.
Being the core of a living planet, the planet itself would die in a hundred years once the core was harvested. It would be easy to harvest one with Jiang He’s ability… but he would prefer not to do that.
The death of a living planet meant countless dead.
Even if he had killed countless others, Jiang He only ever killed his or his race’s enemies, and he would never hurt innocents.
On the other hand, the third condition was to gather certain rarities of the universe, along with holy herbs as well as materials one could craft premium-grade acquired soul treasures with.
“The second and third might not actually be very difficult since I could ask the Daoist of Many Treasures for help, or the Saints if push comes to shove.”
“As for the fourth…”
Jiang He frowned at that.
After all, the fourth condition to level his farm was a hundred catties of Saint flesh.
“A hundred catties of Saint flesh… I wonder if the Grandmaster of Heaven would cut himself for me if I asked him…”
Jiang He ultimately gave up on the idea.
It would be terrible if the man decided to cut Jiang He instead of himself.
Afterwards, he sought out the Daoist of Many Treasures.
“Star Core?”
“That stuff has no value, so I don’t keep them.”
“However, the disciples of my sect might have some. I’ll ask them and procure some for you.”
“I have all those ingredients for immortal potions you asked for as well, but holy herbs are so exceedingly rare that not even the Saints have them. They would have consumed them even if they had instead of keeping them around, too.”
“Huh…”
Puzzled, Jiang He asked about the holy herbs.
The Daoist of Many Treasures hence replied, “Those don’t exist across worlds. It’s said to be spirit roots of Chaos, and exists either in borderless chaos or alternate dimensions.”
“That said, my senior brother once procured a Holy Flat Peach in the depths of chaos, and the Holy Peach Tree in the Celestial Court is said to have been born from its seeds… it might not be a holy herb, but it’s the rarest plant in all worlds.”
The Holy Peach Tree had grown from the seeds of a holy herb?
Doesn’t that mean I could plant holy peaches by getting my hands on a flat peach core?
“Hold on…”
“Why does that Holy Peach Tree sounds so familiar?”
Jiang He remembered something then and quickly asked, “Brother Many Treasures, aside from the holy peach tree, what other holy herbs are there in the depths of chaos?”
“Holy herbs are so rare that not even Saints could find them, and I only know of three.”
The Daoist of Many Treasures answered truthfully. “They are the Holy Peach, the Holy Qilin Herb, and the Old Tea Tree of Enlightenment. The last one is not that much of a secret since many knows about it.”
Jiang He was dumbstruck.
The Old Tea Tree of Enlightenment was a holy herb as well?
Why bother looking for it, then? There was one in his own house.
Saying goodbye to the Daoist of Many Treasures at that, Jiang He left to request an audience with the Grandmaster of Heaven.
Right now, there was only requirement left to level up his farm: a hundred catties of a Saint’s flesh.
Still, it was outrageous to demand that the Grandmaster of Heaven cut a hundred catties of his own flesh for him, and Jiang He was too embarrassed to say it. As such, all he could do was ask the man how he could tear a hundred catties of flesh off a Saint.
