Chapter 29 Running Into an Acquaintance

“Robbing you? What are you talking about? This Lightning Rat is mine!” Li Yi was a little angry.

The man did not back down at all. He continued to put on airs. “Do you know who I am? If you knew me, you would know that you ought to stay out of my way, understand?”

Li Yi chuckled. “What does that have to do with anything? I was here first!”

“Don’t you understand the simple principle of first come, first served?”

The man in the suit sneered. “What do you mean by first come, first served? I’m the nephew of the boss of the All-Worlds Trading Center! Given my status, everyone here ought to show some deference!”

“What right do you have to talk nonsense with me? I’ve taken a fancy to this Lightning Rat. You’re overestimating yourself if you think you can get in my way!”

Li Yi did not give in. “Look pal, I don’t want to argue with you. This Lightning Rat is mine. I’ll be buying it for sure!”

As he said this, Li Yi prepared to hand over his bank card and pay.

The man in the suit flew into a rage. “You aren’t done, huh?!”

After revealing his identity, he should be able to scare off anyone!

However, Li Yi didn’t budge an inch. He was asking for it!

He narrowed his eyes and looked at a figure in the crowd not too far away.

Then, he revealed a proud smile.

“Humph, you’re finished. One of my relatives is here. You’re gonna regret this!”

After saying that, he walked towards the crowd.

Li Yi just ignored him and paid the boss. Then, he grabbed the Lightning Rat and put it on his shoulder.

Since it had just hatched, the Lightning Rat wasn’t really aware of what was going on. It just lay on Li Yi’s shoulder, not moving at all.

When Garfield jumped into Li Yi’s arms, it was still looking at the Lightning Rat with curiosity.

Just then, the man in the suit came back. There was another person with him.

Li Yi looked at the newcomer and was surprised to find that it was someone he knew!

It was Bai Youyun’s best friend, Lin Ya!

The man in the suit followed behind Lin Ya with his head slightly lowered, looking like a slave.

“Sister, he’s the one who stole my Lightning Rat. You gotta teach him a lesson!”

Lin Ya’s expression was cold as she glanced at him. “You better not be lying to me. If he really stole your thing, I will get justice for you.”

He hurriedly nodded. “I’m not lying to you. Honestly! That guy simply isn’t taking our family’s status into account!”

Lin Ya walked towards Li Yi. When she saw Li Yi turn around, she was stunned.

“Why…It’s you?” Lin Ya asked in surprise, pointing at Li Yi.

When Li Yi saw Lin Ya, he revealed a faint smile. “I didn’t expect that this young man’s savior would be you. How interesting.”

When Jiang Ying saw this, she couldn’t help but laugh. She looked at the man in the suit as if he was a fool.

When the man in the suit saw what was going on, he scratched his head and was a little confused. “What is this? Do you two know each other?”
