Chapter 56: Fairy Wang

It was June 1st, Children’s Day!

Although it said on the calendar that Children’s day was a public holiday, the schools wouldn’t give the kids the day off.

Moreover, they had to hold a special gala to celebrate the day!

They had spent the morning sweeping the floor and had to sit there watching this gala all afternoon. The principal might have said Happy Children’s Day, but he had never mentioned anything about giving them the day off.

The students could live with having to go to school on the day, but not when they had to prepare something for the gala.

The principal knew perfectly well that none of the students were excited about the event, so he had required each class to come up with their own performance.

And since no one wanted to do it, Pan Da’s class teacher had given the task to Du Bishu, Wang Jiaming, and him.

They had to choose between cleaning duty for two weeks or going up on stage today!

As for why the class teacher had to pick the three of them out of all the students…

Du Bishu chewed on the apple that had been given to all the students by the class teacher and nudged Pan Da on the shoulder. “Hey, Dada, when is our turn?”

Pan Da had already forgotten about when they were supposed to go up on stage, but he was informed soon after that.

“Coming up next is a song, Fire of Youth, brought to us by Yang Ming from Class 6B. After that is the short act ‘Fairy Wang’ from Class 5G!”

It was their turn!

Pan Da and Du Bishu rose to their feet and quickly went backstage to get prepared.

He walked to the center of the stage, sat down on the bench, and started whistling.

Just then Du Bishu walked out of a corner, wearing a mask and a dark robe.

Staring at Pan Da, he clenched his fist around the shiny Sprinting Meteor in his hand.

“Hmph! Pan Da, is it?”

Du Bishu walked up to Pan Da and asked coldly, “Is your surname Pan?”

“That’s right.”

Looking up, Pan Da asked in bewilderment, “Do you know me?”

“Tell me, who is Pan An to you?”

[BGM: a sudden thunderclap]

Pan Da jumped to his feet. “How do you know my real name? That’s impossible! Even my parents don’t know it!”

“Hahaha!”

The dark-robed Du Bishu guffawed. “It really is you! You sealed me up in a bottomless pit 5,000 years ago, but now, I’ve broken out! I’ve finally found you!

“I don’t care if you’re Pan An or Pan Da. Die!”

The next second, Du Bishu tossed out his Sprinting Meteor and linked his arms into the shape of a cradle.

Pan Da stumbled back, as though he had been badly wounded.

“He’s so powerful!”

Pressing a hand against his chest, he gasped for air. “You’re Du Bishu! The dark god of Gunara!”

“Finally, you’ve remembered my name.”

Du Bishu retrieved his yo-yo with a sneer and tossed it out again. “Unfortunately, it’s too late!”

Their class teacher worked as the narrator, and she read from behind the stage curtain, “Du Bishu, the dark god of Gunala, is said to be a devilish god from another world. He has brought disasters to our world, but 5,000 years ago, a warrior known as Pan An defeated him!

“Now that he has broken his seal, his power has amplified! The world is in a crisis that it has never seen before! Can Pan Da, our warrior, defeat his enemy again…”

“If I could defeat you once, I can defeat you again!” Pan Da bellowed.

“Come, my Photon Fairy!”

[BGM: grand entrance]

Du Bishu stumbled back in astonishment and couldn’t believe his ears. “Is that the legendary weapon of the human race, the Photon Fairy?!”

“I see that you’re not too stupid after all!”

Pan Da gritted his teeth. “You’re so dead!”

“Hmph! So what if you have the Photon Fairy? I, the dark god of Gunala, will not be defeated twice by the same stance…”

They were going to charge out with their yo-yos when a strange sound effect rang out.

[BGM: fairy transformation]

“Balala energy! Salo salo! Fairy transformation!”

Wang Jiaming walked onto the stage at an unhurried pace, looking as pure as an angle. The Fairy Flute in his hands was flickering with colorful lights as he chanted, “Balala energy! Salulo! Freeze!”

After freezing the two boys, Wang Jiaming said anxiously, “Please don’t fight with each other!

“This world will be destroyed if you keep on fighting! So please stop, for the peace and safety of this world!”

“Who are you?” Pan Da and Du Bishu asked in unison.

Brushing back his flowy blond hair, Wang Jiaming said, “I’m Fairy Wang, the fairy of love and peace!”
