Ashamed, embarrassed, and if there were any other words she could use to describe her current state, she would use them all. Her undergarments were just, literally, fresh out of the sink. Nothing was underneath her pajamas now. Nothing…
Utterly flustered, she removed her hands from her wet hair and tightly wrapped the loose clothes around her chest. With her face flushed bright red, she glared at the man who was still staring at her.
“Haven’t you looked enough?”
Qiao Yanli’s yearning eyes slowly traced upward, shifting his gaze to her reddish cheeks. Seeing how the girl was reacting, he could not help but crack a faint smile.
Everything about her figure was dignified, well-endowed even. He was, needless to say, very much satisfied.
He pushed himself off the floor, and distanced himself from the pitiful girl.
“I’m hungry. Can you make me a bowl of noodles?” he said. Without waiting for a reply, he proceeded to leave the bathroom.
Xia Yanxi had mixed feelings, but the one emotion that stood out the most was anger. Seeing as how he was leaving her with but a request for her to cook for him, her fist was instinctively raised, gritting her teeth, as she swung it about in the air, toward his retreating back.
It was as if the man had eyes behind his head, he turned around after only taking a few steps.
Xia Yanxi’s clenched fist was still in the air when he turned back. Her face was frankly pissed.
Qiao Yanli arched an eyebrow. His onyx-like eyes locked onto hers. It seemed that the girl had a rather negative opinion to his request, he then asked, “Would you not help me?”
“Qiao Yanli, I’m not your servant.”
The indiscernible smile on his face vanished completely as it arched downward. Intrigue swirled in his eyes as he asked, “You are Mrs Qiao. Shouldn’t you make a meal for your husband?”
The reddish hue around her cheeks was gone a few seconds ago, yet now it had resurfaced again, just as quickly. This time, she could clearly feel them burning up her face.
They had not yet signed anything and he was already treating her like she was his, and calling her Mrs Qiao.
“Even if we were married, it is just a formality on paper!”
Qiao Yanli broke their eye contact upon hearing that. As if he had no interest in continuing this discussion, the man left, walking quickly into his own bedroom.
Once the door was shut, he dashed into the bathroom. He glanced downward at his clearly evident bulge that was throbbing painfully. He was relieved. Relieved that the little girl was naive for not noticing such an unsightly reaction. He removed his clothes immediately and got into the tub. He turned the knob and purposely let the icy cold water splash onto himself.
Twenty minutes later, and only then, did the burning passion in him subside.

Xia Yanxi had just done hanging the wet clothings she had. After the last of her undergarments were hung, her eyes glanced in the direction of the master bedroom.
Everytime she was with the man, she would do something that embarrassed herself, allowing him to somehow take advantage of the situation. Even so! She could not blame him. Afterall, she was the one who started everything…
What would he think of her?
Would he think that she was a little too sleazy?
Xia Yanxi shook her head, trying to pull herself together. She must have been flustered by his presence. Then again, she had no business delving into his mind.
Out of the blue, her stomach started to grumble. She had been doing plenty of things before the night had even started and it was only normal for her to be hungry. As such, like any sensible human would do, she went to the kitchen and opened the fridge.
There was nothing. Nothing but the cold breeze inside. She turned to the cabinets, and after opening and closing many doors, she found a small pack of instant noodles.
Now that she had the noodles, it was time to cook. When she noted how meticulously arranged the utensils and equipment were, she arched an eyebrow.
It was clean. A little too clean even. It was as if the stove had not even been ignited before.
Did he stave off his hunger by pouring hot water on noodles?
Putting that thought aside, she prepared a pot, boiled some water, and cooked the noodles. She placed the bowl of cooked noodles on the large dining table. She then returned to the kitchen to clean and tidy things up while waiting for the noodles to cool down slightly before eating. Once the cleaning was done, she turned off the kitchen lights and returned to the dining room, only to find a man there, dressed in a homey white T-shirt, sitting comfortably while eating her bowl of noodles. He was eating the bowl of noodles slowly, meticulously and elegantly.
She could not help it. Her heart dropped a little before it started beating fast. The smell of the noodles was fragrant, and as she stared on, she swallowed a mouthful of saliva.
“Qiao Yanli… T-That’s mine…”
Qiao Yanli heard her, and before he raised his head, he raised his chopsticks to hold the excess noodles that were hanging out of his supple lips. He bit on them hard, cutting the noodles in half, and slowly placed them back in the bowl. As his chiseled jaw moved ever so slightly, he turned to gaze at the gawking Xia Yanxi. Somehow, the way she swallowed her saliva, the pair of eyes, locked onto the bowl of noodles longingly, was rather cute.
“Fancy a bite?” he said, arching an eyebrow as he smiled teasingly.
