Flying Dust - Chapter 44-1
Flying Dust [Fei Chen]
Chapter 44.1
Jun Wushuang turned his face to the other side and took a breath, “I realize that whatever I do, nothing seems to be right?”
“What did you do?” Mo Fei Chen also calmed down his anger, as if he was meeting an ordinary friend and engaged in a conversation with him (the literal one used ‘one asking and the other is answering’).
“Leng Yufang left me behind on Xiushui Palace. For more than ten years, I really had thought about wanted to be a good and obedient disciple from righteous sect therefore I practised hard and diligently. Everyone knew that I was the most excellent disciple, however everyone thought that the position of Palace Master should be passed on to my Da Shi Jie (Big Senior Martial Sister). Therefore since I was too excellent, it was also my fault.”
Mo Fei Chen was silent. He had heard about Jun Wushuang, his unfavorable situation at Xiushui Palace.
“Wen Xin is my father, but I have never met him, nor have I been taught by him, moreover he has never raised me, so why has Leng Yufang kept telling me since I was a child that I should save him? Every time I asked why, Leng Yufang would give me a slap on the face. It was my fault if I choose not to save Wen Xin. But if I wanted to save him then I had to deceive Liu Feiying and I also had to fight with Wu Liang Chanshi directly. So it’s still wrong for a son wanting to save his father.” Jun Wushuang tilted his head, his eyes no longer had evil tendencies, as if he was thinking and pondering about the question that had no answer.
“I’m afraid that my biggest mistake is still that I like you. Leng Yufang said that young sect master, you must make a name for yourself in the martial arts world, so that those people from righteous sects when they hear the name of our Jing Shui Sect will change their expression (turned hostile), so when you were trapped in the sword array of the Ding Chan Temple I had to go first for the greater good (to do the importance things first). However, I still made a mistake again, because you were almost killed by Wu Liang Chanshi.”
Mo Fei Chen drew in a breath, a sourness (grieved in his heart) in his throat.
“I finally able to find you (it’s not easy to meet you again), I like you and I want you to stay by my side yet I’m still wrong.”
If it were the usual time, Mo Fei Chen would have shouted and said that ‘I don’t like you, so you quickly let me go’, but at this moment, Jun Wushuang looked…very beautiful (nice).
The beautiful things were easy to break, Mo Fei Chen didn’t want to touch and break him into pieces.
Being gentle, in many cases, it was also one kind of cruelty. Mo Fei Chen knew that his soft heart would keep Jun Wushuang kept walking forward, unable to get out, but if he were to harden his heart, what he would get in return would be nothing more than the burning of jade and common stone together,1[玉石俱焚: jade and stone burned together—destruction of good and bad alike; total destruction.] which was also meaningless.
“Since every step I took is wrong, then just let me continue to be wrong.” Jun Wushuang held Mo Fei Chen’s hand tightly, “You know Jiang Hu better than me, right? Maybe one day this Jiang Hu will destroy me and then at that time, you will be able to leave my side.”
Mo Fei Chen could shake off his hand, but he knew that Jun Wushuang would hold his own hand even tighter.
“What do you exactly really want? From this Jiang Hu … from Wen Xin, from me…”
“Because I don’t have anything,” Jun Wushuang moved his head closer towards Mo Fei Chen, his pupils were full of complex emotions, “So I want it all.”
Mo Fei Chen turned his head to other side, Jun Wushuang’s appearance was extremely seductive to both men and women, “I’m hungry.”
“Where are you hungry?” Jun Wushuang’s fingers gently inserted into Mo Fei Chen’s hair and stroked it, very gently, “Is it your stomach hungry or your below that is hungry?”
“My stomach is hungry.” Mo Fei Chen didn’t even have the strength to roll his eyes. At this moment, he suddenly felt so calm. In his heart, he had a belief that was to return to He Yunfeng’s side. But at the same time, he also thought rationally because unless there was a chance, it was impossible that he could get away from Jun Wushuang…No, even if he left Jing Shui Sect, he had a premonition that Jun Wushuang would still not leave his life as before.
“Then you wait.” Jun Wushuang pushed out the door and left. An hour later he came back, carrying a food box.
Inside were crystal clear soup steamed dumplings filled with minced meat and gravy, sliced fish congee and some of Mo Fei Chen’s favourite pastries.
Mo Fei Chen’s preferences seemed not difficult to guess, since he never hid them. However Jun Wushuang would able to remember all his preferences, it was indeed not easy at all, even the clothes of different fabrics that Mo Fei Chen would wear more than once, he even realized it which Mo Fei Chen himself even did not realized it.
Jun Wushuang liked to watch Mo Fei Chen eat very much and this was already very obvious at the Mu Yun Mountain Manor Martial Arts Conference. Mo Fei Chen was very self-aware, he knew that, first of all, he was not an elegant and very good looking man and he had no elegance bearing at all, so he ate a bit like a wolf (wolf down one’s food ;to devour ravenously), often with both of his cheeks bulging out, chewing and chewing continuously, non stop…
“Why do you keep looking at me?” Being looked by Jun Wushuang, Mo Fei Chen felt somehow chill on his back.
“Because you look so happy when you eat.” Jun Wushuang tilted his chin up, seemingly recalling something, “During that dinner party, everyone was bragging to each other or excited about the chance to meet a legendary martial arts master, but you were the only one who kept eating non stop.”
“It was a dinner party, what else could I do if I didn’t eat?”
“Out of all those many people, you were the only one using the most genuine expression,” Jun Wushuang smiled, “Even something as simple as eating was done with such joy by you.”
Mo Fei Chen burped, stretched out his body and sat there, looking at the room.
Jun Wushuang didn’t say anything either, and stayed quietly beside him. Mo Fei Chen deliberately did not speak and also didn’t look at him. He was just lying on the bed. That was one kind of his awkward stubbornness.
I’ll ignore you and see how long you can sit there.
Mo Fei Chen closed his eyes and pretended to be asleep, leaving only a little space. .
Jun Wushuang’s expression was very calm, just holding his head up, a few strands of hair passing through his fingers and dropping onto the table. Mo Fei Chen knew he was looking at him, and it made him feel a little uncomfortable. Jun Wushuang must have known that he was faking it, but he rarely had this good temper not to expose him.
As time gradually passed, Mo Fei Chen really fell asleep since a person who he had just finished eating easily got sleepy.
Hearing his steady breathing, Jun Wushuang smiled, leaned down and kissed his lips.
Translator’s Note: I think I like Jun Wushuang’s character after this chapter, previously I just think from the three ML, he is the most interesting one.
I really like a person or a character that know oneself, know that what he had done is sometimes wrong and admit it.
