Chapter 49: Don’t Be Too Rough with Anan
“The ones with the roses on them are Anan’s dishes… The dishes on golden plates all belong to Shaoxi.” Old Master Beiming rang the dining bell and announced aloud in a clear voice, “The rest all belong to me.”
Beiming Yechen instantly felt like a heavy rock had been smashed into a million pieces on his chest. “Grandfather, what about mine?”
“You’ll eat what I eat.”
Old Master Beiming had heart problems and high blood pressure, not to mention that old people could only eat certain types of food anyway.
Beiming Yechen stared at all the clear soups.
The big boss reached his arms out to grab Ji Anan and pulled her into his arms!
The old man smiled meaningfully, and in the blink of an eye, he loaded a ton of food on her plate.
“This fish soup is highly nutritious, so drink some more of it.” Beiming Yechen moved his eyebrows up and down mischievously.
Old Master Beiming responded in agreement, “This fish soup helps restore the balance of yin and yang, replenishes your blood iron levels, and improves your blood circulation…”
“Finish it all.” Beiming Shaoxi’s warm breath fell on her ear, and she took in a whiff of his masculine scent.
Since Old Master Beiming was right in front of them, Ji Anan couldn’t cry out in opposition, so she pinched Beiming Shaoxi’s leg under the table.
His breath was warm, and his eyes grew more and more intense.
Sniffing her scent up close made his body go rigid…
He didn’t need these so-called nourishing foods; he was already burning with desire!
Ji Anan had originally planned to bring her luggage upstairs to unpack after eating, but Old Master Beiming asked her to play a game of chess with him.
As she conversed with the old man, the topic of the wedding came up…
At ten o’clock that night, Beiming Shaoxi walked out of the shower, refreshed. He bent down and swept Ji Anan off her feet, then turned around as he was carrying her in his arms.
“You unfilial grandson!” Old Master Beiming grabbed a couple of chess pieces and flung them at his back. Anan had been on his mind for days, and now, he finally had the chance to speak with her.
“Do you want a great-grandchild or to play chess?” Beiming Shaoxi asked coldly as he continued to walk away.
Old Master Beiming paused, huffed an indignant sigh, then said, “Don’t be too rough with Anan.”
Ji Anan was blank.
“Porti, go tell the kitchen to prepare for tomorrow…”
Ji Anan secretly let out a sigh of relief at finally being able to escape.
The old man was incredibly fond of her and a little too affectionate, so she didn’t know how to refuse him.
However, every time she thought about how such an endearing old man had only one year left to live, she couldn’t help but feel sad.
A strong pair of arms carried her up the stairs. The eyes that stared into hers were scorching, as if there was lava flowing beneath them.
His perfectly toned muscles looked so erotic they made one’s blood pump faster.
Ji Anan almost never fawned over men, but at that moment, she felt passionate temptation.
As her blood started to boil, she felt Beiming Shaoxi press against her body. He folded her legs up and slowly yet potently started to take control of her…
Ji Anan was ashamed of herself and tried her best to block out the obscene imagery in her mind.
After entering the bedroom, she instantly started struggling to lower herself to the ground so she could run as far away as possible…
A shapeless yet powerful aura surrounded him, making him utterly dangerous.
“Inside the bedroom, we have to keep at least a ten-foot distance.”
“Afraid you’ll be seduced by me?” With one hand, Beiming Yechen closed the door and locked it.
Without his usual aloofness, his smile appeared cockier yet also inexplicably sexy.
After hearing the locking sound, Ji Anan swallowed hard. “I already convinced Grandfather not to have a wedding ceremony.”
Beiming Shaoxi curled his lips up. She had only said one thing.
[Grandfather, I think that a wedding ceremony only matters if it’s between two people who are truly in love, and it should only be done once, so I don’t want to rush things. In one year, if Shaoxi is still in love with me, we’ll hold a wedding ceremony then. Is that alright with you?]
