Did he not know that she would not be able to resist him if he continued acting cute?
She resigned to her fate and reached out to him with a shy look on her face. Forget it, she had to give him some face for being her lifesaver, after all.
He held her hand lightly, and his long, slim fingers were like a piece of art, impressively perfect. His fingers were mysterious-looking, and light streamed by each of them.
Suddenly, a dark-green glow arose from his hands and enveloped Zihou’s wrists slowly. After a moment, a dark-green bracelet appeared on her wrist.
“What are you doing? What is this?” Zihou was shocked as a foreign object had appeared on her wrist all of a sudden, and she had wanted to retract her hands. She shot him a cold glance as her expression soured.
“Remember, my name is Mo Yunhuang.” The man ignored Zihou’s anger, lowered himself, and held her hands tightly till the point where they were extremely close to each other.
She could feel a foreign heat from the man, as well as a uniquely manly yet nice-smelling scent. Zihou opened her eyes wide and looked at his immaculate features, which were perfect.
Without waiting for Zihou to respond, the man backed off, and his dark shadow disappeared into the light. Within a short moment, he was gone.
The winds that rushed by the side of Zihou’s ears brought her back to reality. If not for the bracelet on her wrist, she would have thought that she had dreamt up all of what just happened.
What Zihou did not see was when the man turned, his red lips curled into a demonic, evil smile.
“What’s this!” After quite some time, Zihou finally took a good look at the bracelet and cursed softly in anger. It was unknown whether she was cursing at the man or the bracelet.
The bracelet on her wrist emanated a dark, green glow and had a quaint vibe to it. One look at it and you would know that this was nothing normal. Yet, Zihou refused to care too much about it and only tried to ruthlessly pull it off her hands with one strong jerk. Yet, she was unable to get it off, and the bracelet remained on her wrist.
Zihou was extremely angry and struck the bracelet onto the walls, wanting to shatter it. Yet, this bracelet was built really tough, and not only could she not shatter it, but she also could not even get a dent on it!
“Stupid man, don’t let me see you again. If you appear in front of me again, I will be sure to put a dog’s collar on you!” Zihou angrily shouted towards the direction where Mo Yunhuang disappeared, but to no avail.
In the middle of the night, the lights shone, and angry voices started coming from the windows around. How could she disturb all of these people at such a time!
From somewhere nearby, Mo Yunhuang heard her shout angrily and stopped, curling his sexy lips. He spoke softly to an empty space, “Liu Ying, pass the news that I will not be heading back to the demonic clouds for a while.” The smile on his face dropped, and on Mo Yunhuang’s flawless features were a cold, sharp look, which was nothing like the cute face he had earlier on.
Upon hearing what he said, Liu Ying flashed a lonely and complicated look, as if he was a lake without any waves.
Zihou went back to the Wei Estate angrily. As expected, she was shouted at before she even entered the house.
“Why are you back so late!” Wei Guoting appeared out of nowhere and angrily looked at Zihou with his dark face and hardened gaze.
Zihou rolled her eyes, her forehead full of black lines. She felt helpless. However, she knew that Wei Guoting was just worried and concerned about her and so stayed up to wait for her. However, such scolding pissed her off, and she cursed Mo Yunhuang and his entire family line secretly.
If not for him, would she be back so late?
Therefore, due to this man, Zihou had to listen to Wei Guoting’s naggy teachings once again.
As she lied down on her bed, Zihou raised her arm with the bracelet up high and carefully looked at it under the light.
The quaint and immaculate bracelet shone green under the light, and each part of it shone under the light to make it look elegant. A cooling feel spread from her wrist to all parts of her body, making her feel comfortable.
Such a bracelet probably had a lot of secrets hidden within it.
Would this thing be a gem?
Zihou had many doubts, but she was curious as well. In her eyes, the man was mysterious but powerful, so he probably would have given her something precious?
However, no matter how she looked at it, she could not decipher how this bracelet could be precious.
Unless…
Zihou sat up suddenly, with a bold conjecture in her mind.
Did this thing require the blood of its owner?
Okay, that might have sounded a little weird, but wasn’t that how it was in the legends?
Zihou hesitated for a moment before she took out her well-crafted dagger to make a tiny cut on her finger, dripping her fresh blood onto the bracelet.
As her blood touched the bracelet, the green glow of the bracelet began emanating more strongly, with a tinge of red from the blood along its edges. All of a sudden, the green glow of the bracelet exploded like fireworks.
At the same time, Zihou felt as if there was a different feeling within her.
After that weird feeling, Zihou shockingly realized that she could see within the bracelet, and there was a huge empty space in it.
Was this the legendary dimensional treasure?
She had seen dimensional treasures in her books, but there were not many of them in existence. Unless you were from a rich or powerful family clan, you would not be able to see one of those for yourself. Also, the space in the bracelet seemed a little too… big? In fact, it was a space where living things could be stored!
A wave of excitement rushed over Zihou, and she followed the guide in her heart, putting her entire consciousness into the bracelet, allowing her to see everything within.
It was chaotic within, but there was a small box floating about that did not seem to belong to the chaos, as if someone put it there on purpose.
Zihou moved that box out with her consciousness and it appeared on her hands with a flash of light.
As she held it in her hands, Zihou looked at it carefully. The small wooden box had nothing flashy to its exterior and was, in fact, a simple-looking box. However, her instincts told her that the simpler the box looked, the scarier the contents.
