- Chapter 14 - How To Save A Time-limited Young Master Chapter 14
The week ended and weekend came.
In order to attend a party on Saturday evening, Heloise had been tormented ever since daybreak.
Her nanny and the maids worked together, and instead of curling Heloise’s hair into waves, they tied it into small braids and let it droop down adorably.
Powder wasn’t applied as she was still young, but Heloise Lorca was cute and pretty enough.
Wearing a dress, leather shoes, gloves, a hat, and lace socks, Heloise climbed onto the carriage with a feeling of weariness even before she attended the party.
Heloise, who has yet to hold a debutante, was at an age when she didn’t have to attend parties originally, but today’s party was a ‘children’s gathering’ that’s recently popularised amongst the adults.
It was a place to secretly show off their children by attending with them, while comparing whose children were better.
They’re trying to steal a glance at other children’s budding talents before they reach the age to participate in events such as ‘Founding Festival’, ‘Dance Party’, and ‘Concour’.
Heloise’s parents were also aristocrats, so they also wanted to instil the basics in her, but Heloise was only good at dancing and wasn’t talented at the so-called ‘aristocratic culture’.
As such, she was dolled up today in order to listen to other people’s pride, making it a very exhausting place.
As Heloise entered the party venue, she, who was already tired, yawned loudly, causing her mother to laugh and her father to stroke her hair.
“Don’t be too nervous.”
After saying that, the two of them wore a smile on their faces as other nobles came to converse with them, and separated to their respective positions.
From now onwards, Heloise had to act as someone that matched the Viscounty of Lorca.
Of course, this was amongst the children.
Normally, there wouldn’t be many gazes aimed at her when she moved alone carefully, but there were many gazes stinging Heloise’s cheek, regardless of whether it’s from adults or children.
“That’s the kid…?”
“Apparently Young Lord Lionerik lives stuck with that?”
“There’s no way, it’s a big deal.”
“My servant is a relative of Langbert Mansion’s coachman, and he says that it’s true.”
‘Wow, Young Master. Look at this. It seems that I’ve become the party’s main character thanks to you.’
Heloise smiled despondently and scratched her cheek while pretending to not hear them.
She wasn’t familiar with this type of attention.
She needed somewhere that she could escape to.
Sure enough, one of the children that wanted to know more about Heloise approached her to ask for a dance.
Dance. Though her skill in dancing wasn’t bad, the number of dances she knew was limited.
She also didn’t feel like talking to a stranger.
Heloise turned pale and quickly fled behind the hall’s pillar before he came over.
“Phew, I’ll be in trouble if I have to do this every time there’s a party.”
“Kyaa!”
As soon as she ducked behind the pillar, a scream came out. It seems that there was already a passenger present.
Heloise hurriedly turned her head to apologise for surprising the other party.
But when she encountered someone unexpected, her words of apology didn’t come out.
“……”
Heloise’s mouth was gaping and she couldn’t say anything.
Her eyes widened to the point that they were about to tear, and words couldn’t appear.
No, no, no. Who is this?
“Dad! I think that studying celestial bodies is very profound. Am I… in love with the stars?”
“Dad, the etiquette teacher says that as the strength of your belief increases, the more it will show on your face. How do I look?”
“Can’t we go out and play today, Dad?”
“I love you, Dad!”
<Princess Sienna>, the electronic daughter that once forced the entire nation to become widowers!
Isn’t that girl the ‘Sienna Salles’ from that game?
Sienna Salles, who was shaking with surprise when Heloise’s mouth was left agape, blinked her big eyes and apologised instead.
“I–I’m sorry. My voice was too loud, right?”
“Oh my gosh… Oh my goodness.….”
Voluptuous and cloud-like pink hair, along with sparkling violet pupils.
She looked like she had just popped out from a low-definition 2D game and even has the same voice as her voice actor.
It was the same answer pattern as when her personality was set to [Gentle].
The tip of Heloise’s pointing finger trembled.
Although her head understood that it wasn’t something a noble young lady should do, her entire body froze as her heart couldn’t understand.
‘Wasn’t this a Ropan novel?’
It’s not a novel…… But a game?
Heloise was dumbfounded by the truth that she bumped into, that she was going to die.

<Princess Sienna>
As the name suggests, it’s a daughter nurturing game, whereby a girl from the fairy world was raised to become a princess in the human world.
However, out of this type of games, it was the most successful example.
This daughter nurturing simulation game was both the first and representative work of its kind.
Through appropriate play time and various occupational endings available, it effectively stimulates the player’s desire to collect endings.
It was popular regardless of generations, and served as its releasing company’s profitable product over time. A distinct characteristic about the game would be the entry route to the main ending, Princess Ending.
In the early days of its release, the players that couldn’t enter the Princess Route no matter what they did, would only discover the special event <Regression> after failing at everything they tried and the appearance of the hidden Bad Ending.
“A–Are you alright?”
“I’m sorry, but I’m not okay.”
“Good morning, Dad!”
The electronic daughter, who looked as though she was about to say that immediately, asked with a tearful face.
“Did I step on your foot? If not, because I’d spoken rudely to you!”
“It’s not like that.”
With the fairy king’s arrangement and her will, the special event <Regression> will be launched.
The existing world would be completely destroyed and rebuilt to the time she desired to regress to.
After the <Regression>, Sienna would possess her previous memories and blacken slightly, so her stat points would be fixed at 150.
If she had a stat point of 150 at the age of ten, it can be concluded as an experience that was fairly worth going through.
As the Princess Ending would only take place when all the points except Evil exceeded 1,000, the Bad Ending’s <Regression> event was an essential bridge for the early boost in stat points by 150.
Making up her mind, Heloise asked Sienna.
“I’m sorry to have to ask you this even though it’s our first time meeting.”
“What?”
“Is your goal the Princess?”
“What?”
Sienna blinked, like a doll that could only say ‘What?’.
‘Right. Isn’t it too hasty to predict that she’s already aiming for the Princess Ending?’
If that wasn’t the case, then it’s a relief.
And the Bad Ending wasn’t something that could be triggered unconditionally and randomly while playing.
The difficulty to enter the Bad Ending was very high.
In order to reach the Bad Ending, firstly, the grudge of <The Duke> must be drawn out, and secondly, <The Duke> has to possess the ‘magic crystal’, which is the source of his power.
And thirdly, Sienna has to be strong enough to fight with <The Duke>.
Only when all these conditions are met, can the special event <Regression> be achieved.
“No, I’m just joking.”
Heloise quickly took back her words and turned her head away.
That’s right.
The game must have been played carelessly.
Even so, Sienna works part-time every day, and undergoes instruction for dance, art, and embroidery, so when would there be an opportunity for her to meet <The Duke> and incur his hatred, before challenging him after <The Duke> obtained the magic crystal?
It’s a difficult route without any strategy.
However, Heloise, who used to skip school and play games in a PC cafe, entered the bad ending by chance.
To be exact, it’s the <Regression> event.
Sienna, who lost her beloved father and fiance Isaac, had faith in her magic skills that she honed in martial arts competitions, and vowed to take revenge.
She entered the mansion of <The Duke> and tried to destroy him, but she couldn’t defeat <The Duke> because of the special ‘magic crystal’ he possessed.
At that thought, a splitting headache overcame Heloise.
What kind of magic crystal was it?
“Ugh…”
“Are you feeling sick?”
‘I–I know this. I’m aware of this.’
“Over here! This person must be feeling sick!”
As Heloise grabbed her head and crouched down, Sienna became anxious and called out to the surrounding people.
Heloise’s headache was at the point where such concern became annoying.
‘What was it? Ke… Ke… No, Ze…’
“Who is it? Is this person sick?”
“Yes! She’s been holding her head without moving at all since a while ago!”
“Zenon…”
A familiar name appeared on the tip of her tongue.
“What? What did you say?”
“Zenon’s… Hea…rt…”
When she spat out the words that hovered on the tip of her tongue, her heart dropped.
The name of the magic crystal used by <The Duke> was none other than Zenon.
It was <Zenon’s Heart>.
