“What?”
“No, I think you are not feeling well.”
Lucrezia looked at Edgar and Nina alternately, as if embarrassed.
“Why don’t you go and get some air? I will escort the Saint.”
Edgar frowned, and Lucrezia grinned.
“I like it. Edgar, go and rest.”
“Lady.”
“Are you going to disobey me now?”
“……no.”
Edgar nodded his head and left. Lucrezia smiled and took Nina’s hand.
“Are you going to stick next to me and escort me now?”
“I wanted to ask for a dance, but the veil makes it impossible.”
“You are right. But it’s pretty.”
Lucrezia, who ran her hand over the lace on the edge of the veil, smiled.
“Have you never thought that you would like to keep on living the way you are now?”
“That is impossible.”
“If possible.”
Lucrezia stared at Nina and she answered honestly.
“No, I don’t.”
Lucrezia pressed her fingers in her lips.
“That is unfortunate. Why? You are young, beautiful, and capable.”
“I am looking forward to crossing the sea of glass someday. And getting old isn’t too bad either.”
Lucrezia tensed her mouth.
“Do you mean the land of eternity, where the crystal rain falls over the sea of glass, and the endless land stretches out?”
“Yes.”
As she answered, Nina felt a strange feeling.
Isn’t that what the Temple believes in?
“If you like that, I can’t help it.”
Lucrezia smiled and took her body away.
“Would you like to come to the temple where I am staying? The high priest wants to see Dame Nina.”
What? The final boss?
“If time permits.”
As Nina spoke in a roundabout way, Lucrezia nodded her head.
“Dame.”
“Yes.”
“Have you ever hated a person so much and so fiercely that you wanted to steal everything from them?”
It was a sudden question, but Nina listened seriously.
“I don’t think there is such a person. Does the Saint have such a person?”
“There is.”
The Saint answered as if telling a secret.
Why is she telling this story to me?
Nina was bewildered.
“I thought I was special to them, but I wasn’t. So I was very angry.”
Lucrezia smiled and looked up at Nina.
“And I said, Let’s take it all.”
“That······.”
Should I say that she hates it fiercely? Isn’t that a perverse desire for monopoly? To steal everything from your opponent. In other words, it’s the same to own said person.
Looking at Nina’s face, Lucrezia smiled and wrapped her cheeks with both hands.
“I didn’t expect to be able to tell a story like this. It’s also just as the High-Priest said.”
“What did he say?”
I wonder what the final boss had to say about me. Lucrezia laughed softly.
“It’s a secret.”
She rolled her eyes down and her voice got lower.
“And as I expected, I really liked Viscountess Dell.”
The eyes looking up at her were ugly distorted at a glance.
“That why I hate it even more.”
It was a raw emotion that could stab someone at once. For a moment, Nina even flinched to see if Lucrezia was holding a dagger at her.
“If you hadn’t chosen her······.”
There was a blade-like fierceness in her voice.
“Who did I choose?”
Lucrezia laughed strangely.
“Are you pretending not to know?”
“I’m asking because I really don’t know.”
At Nina’s words, Lucrezia made a strange face. She knew Nina wasn’t lying, but it was strange all the same.
“But only Viscountess Dell looked at me and said, ‘Who the hell are you?”
“!!”
She swallowed her breath for a moment, and Lady Adele came close between the two.
“Lady Lucrecia, there is someone here who wants to talk with you for a while.”
Lucrezia moved away from Nina, saying, “Excuse me for a moment.”
‘What now?’
Nina was confused but decided to clean that matter later. She must not waste the precious time Lady Adele made for her.
‘Where did he go?’
While she was looking around, Kell strode over to her and said,
“He is the front garden.”
When Nina looked at Kell in surprise, he grinned.
“Charlotte caught him.”
“Thanks.”
Answering, Nina headed to the front garden. She could easily find Charlotte and Edgar inside the sparsely lit garden.
“Charlotte.”
Charlotte, who was having a sharp conversation with Edgar, found Nina and smiled softly.
“Captain.”
Edgar looked at Nina and squinted his eyes asking.
“Who is with the saint?”
“She’s with Lady Adele.”
I did not know how much longer Lady Adele could hold Lucrezia, so I quickly got to the point.
“I know the orphans missing from the temple.”
Edgar flinched and his eyes turned to Nina.
“I just want to help. It would be nice if I could get help as well.”
He stared at her for a long time. I could see fierce worries coming and going.
He tightly closed his eyes.
“If you have the courage to come.”
Edgar said that and left quickly. It must be that he doesn’t want to leave Lucrezia alone.
“He’s gone.”
Nina spoke lightly, and Charlotte lowered her head.
“I’m sorry. Should I go get him back right away?”
“What? No. it’s okay.”
Nina laughed.
“The results were good enough. I lived thanks to Lady Adele. How did the both of you know?”
That my target was Edgar, not Lucrezia.
“Just······.”
Charlotte wiggled her fingers and said.
“Lady Lucrezia doesn’t seem to be the Leader’s taste······.”
Nina rolled her eyes and burst out laughing.
“What makes you so happy?”
Kell came over and looked around asking. Nina giggled.
“No, Charlotte knows me so well that it made me laugh. Thank you both. Thanks to you, we were able to talk.”
Nina sighed and looked at the ballroom.
“We can’t go away right away, Kell, shall we dance a song?”
“I will gladly escort you.”
Back at the ballroom, Kell and Nina danced two songs in a row. Then Charlotte asked to dance one more song with her, and Nina happily danced one more song.

“Oh, I think I’m going to live!”
Dressed in her light cotton blouse and her shin-length trousers, Nina flopped her bare feet in the chair.
Sitting upside down, she held a cold peach tea in her hand and leaned her upper body against the back.
No matter how much the combat uniform was brilliantly made, uncomfortable is uncomfortable, and heavy is heavy.
“Did you get any results?”
Adrian and Louis were side by side in the office. Nina nodded her head.
“I met Edgar. If you had the courage, he told me to come to see him in person.”
Louis looked at Nina in surprise and said to Adrian.
“Your Knight Commander always makes difficult things too easy.”
“I agree.”
Adrian also made a bemused face.
While savoring the cold tea, Nina said.
“Did I do anything out of ordinary? I said it, and fortunately, he answered it.”
“It’s about getting the answer. If I or the Duke had gone, he would have been warier.”
“By the way, he asked me to come to find him, where do I go?”
Nina asked while thinking about how to eat the piece of peach attached to the bottom of the cup.
“Maybe we should go to Sir Edgar’s dormitory. It seems to be the only place he can be alone.”
“That’s true.”
Nina turned her cup over and tapped the underside, but the peach didn’t come off. Adrian got up, held the cup from Nina, and took out the peaches with the fork that was on his plate.
“Thank you.”
Nina accepted the fork and smiled happily, while Nina was enjoying the treat, Louis told Nina.
“It looks like we will be able to borrow Nina’s hand soon.”
Nina, not Dame Nina.
Eating the peach in one bite, Nina smiled.
“Sure. Anything.”
Louis said, “Thank you.” and said bid goodbye to Adrian.
“Let me leave first.”
As he left the office, Nina rubbed her chin. She looked at Adrian, making him ask, “What?” and Nina held out her hand.
“Can you show me your sword for a second?”
