Nina frowned and reached out to pick up his ring.
“Thank you.”
Then he bowed to Adrian as well.
“Please, take care of Fiona.”
“I have one question for you.”
At Adrian’s remark, Edgar met his gaze.
“Is Lucrezia really a saint?”
“No.”
The answer came quickly and smoothly. Adrian laughed softly.
“It has been answered.”
He lifted his wand and the window opened. Nina jumped out of the window. Adrian followed and said.
“Don’t forget to lock it.”
When he disappeared, the window closed on its own and the latch snapped shut. Edgar approached, closed the curtains, and lit a candle above the prayer table.
He knelt down and recited a small thank-you prayer.

Nina rolled the ring into her hand.
“If this disappears, wouldn’t it be a big deal?”
“It will.”
“As expected.”
I don’t know what you’re trying to do, but I hope you don’t die. How heartbroken would Fiona be?
“I thought there was a monster living in the temple.”
At Adrian’s words, Nina looked up at him. When his rose-stone eyes met her gaze, he smiled.
“The temple itself must be the monster.”
“Huh?”
Surprised, Nina opened her mouth.
Thinking that the round mouth was cute, Adrian continued
“The Saint is a fake.”
“She is.”
“Who do you think appoints the saint?”
“Ah.”
Nina let out a short sound.
The top of the Temple.
‘Wow.’
Nina looked at Adrian with eyes mixed with admiration. He doesn’t know about every situation as she does, but he found the answer in his way.
“I thought it was strange. But I guessed there was no real reason to do something like that.”
Adrian muttered and bit his mouth.
If his predictions were correct, then the High Priest was a complete lunatic, and his goals were completely insane.
“Nina, are you going to see the prince tomorrow?”
“Yes.”
“My knight is busy every day.”
“That’s because the period of the great ball is short. Come to think of it, isn’t the day after tomorrow the great ball already? Oh, it’s the first time I’ve seen the Emperor’s face.”
“Nina should go and take a look.”
“Is he really coming?”
“Rumors keep circulating that he’s not feeling well. What do you think, Nina?”
“What?”
“Because Nina has a good hunch about things like this.”
Looking at Adrian’s smiling face, Nina pretended to be thinking with her arms folded.
“I won’t know unless I see it.”
“That’s true.”
Adrian smiled brightly, narrowed his eyes, and said.
“You know tomorrow, right?”
“I know, I know. I’ll show it to Adrian first.”
You worry too much.
Nina said so and shook her head.
The next morning, the designer and employees who brought the dress diligently dressed her.
Nina watched this process with interest. Since it wasn’t an evening dress, the decorations were simple and there was little exposure.
Jean opened his eyes wide.
He came to take over on behalf of Nina who was out and about, and he became the first person to see Nina in a dress.
Nina waved her skirt around in the air.
“The clothes are the best, if you say I look the same, I won’t let you go.”
At Nina’s bluff, Jean bit his mouth and opened it.
“Yes, yes, Nina looks the best no matter what she wears. She is the cutest Nina in the world.”
It was a phrase that came out as if memorized. But seeing Nina’s face brighten up, he couldn’t help but smile too.
Wearing a bright dress, she looked like a sparkling glass bead. It made one wants to put it on the palm of their hand, shine it on the sun, and cherish it for a long time.
When Nina reached out to him, Jean looked puzzled. Nina pouted her lips.
“The escort, the escort.”
Jean smiled, pulled her hand, and asked.
“You don’t do this”
“Oh, I don’t, but the rules of royalties are like that, so there’s nothing I can do about it. Let’s go show it to the young master.”
Nina moved her chin. Jean escorted Nina to the office, proud of himself for not forgetting anything he had learned from Vivian.
When he opened the door and bowed his head, saying, “Madam,” Nina entered the room in a coy manner.
“Ta-da. Oh, General manager, you are back.”
Louis, who was reporting, looked back at Nina and smiled.
“You are beautiful today, too, Dame Nina.”
Nina smiled and bowed her knees to greet him. Then turned to Adrian.
“What do you think?”
Adrian blinked his eyes and smiled.
“I think I will never be able to beat Nina for the rest of my life.”
“Wait, in what did you think you were going to win at?”
Nina said in a dumbfounded tone as Adrian got up from his seat and walked over to her. His hands covered her cheeks. Nina laughed because it tickled her.
Jean and Louis, who glanced at each other, left the office with a small voice saying, ‘Excuse me.’
“What?”
When Nina asked with a grin, Adrian sighed.
He found his patience to be one of a kind. He’ll endure anything for her sake, but isn’t this a different kind of patience?
His hand passed her cheek, climbed down her neck and shoulders, and grabbed her arm. Looking at her bare smooth nape and collarbones, the cute fluff of her cheeks, he leaned over and rested his forehead on her shoulder.
“Nina.”
“Yes.”
The next minute Adrian raised his head in a hurry.
As it was a summer dress, the front of her dress was cut, and, unlike usual, he leaned his forehead on her shoulder with open eyes, and his gaze was immediately….
“Adrian?”
“No, those clothes…”
Adrian barely managed to speak.
“Isn’t it uncomfortable?”
“No, it’s not as uncomfortable as I thought.”
Why are you doing this all of a sudden? Nina looked at him.
“Just in case you don’t know, bring your sword.”
“Yes, it’s on my calf.”
She seemed to move her left leg lightly.
“The dress is comfortable because you can hide your weapons inside as much as you want.”
Adrian laughed at the added comment.
“I’ll take you to the carriage.”
“I was going to ride a horse.”
“In that outfit? Do you know how to ride a side saddle?”
“Oh, I see. To the carriage it is.”
I never learned the side saddle.
Thinking, “Should I learn?” Nina got Adrian’s escort and boarded the carriage.
“Have a safe trip. I’ll be waiting here for interesting stories.”
Before closing the door, Adrian said so making Nina laugh.
“Adrian should be careful too.”
Neither Nina nor Adrian knew that this would be a real warning.
When he closed the door, the knight swung his whip and made a loud noise. Having received the signal, the horse departed.
The carriage ran lightly, and Nina enjoyed the ride for a long time.
It was Lady Adele’s private invitation, but she would almost certainly meet Prince Faradiv in the garden.
The carriage left the city and headed for a mansion in the suburbs. Gardening is difficult to cultivate in a townhouse, but the garden of a suburban mansion is gorgeous.
It was again Prince Faradiv who came out to escort Nina getting off the carriage.
His water-colored eyes widened.
That expression said more than a hundred words of praise, so Nina smiled and held out her hand.
