Chapter 120: Chapter 120 Help! Someone help!
“Second uncle!” Her face flushed with anger, “Could you please stay away from me?”
“I am Jingyao’s second uncle, but I am not your second uncle.” The man’s eyes narrowed, his smile growing more frivolous.
“But I am Jingyao’s wife!”
“So what?” He Yizheng leaned down slightly, as if he could kiss her forehead in the next second.
A strong musky cologne scent rushed towards her… Su Zixi quickly held her breath, gritting her teeth, “Second uncle, please show some respect!”
A flicker of surprise passed through He Yizheng’s eyes.
Although she was clearly a naïve young girl, she managed to keep her composure.
Who would have thought that Jingyao, who had never touched a woman before, had the ability to keep her so well disciplined.
He Yizheng had to admit, a desire to conquer rose in his heart. Perhaps not every woman would fall for him, but there had never been one who could remain unaffected in the face of his deliberate advances.
“How long have you known Jingyao that you like him so much?” He Yizheng’s voice carried a trace of resentment, “It seems I am already one step behind, hmm?”
Su Zixi’s skin crawled with goosebumps from his deliberately lowered “hmm,” and the strong musky cologne scent was even making her feel nauseous!
“Second uncle, if you let go now, I can pretend nothing happened, and I will certainly not tell Jingyao,” Su Zixi said calmly.
“What if I don’t want to let go?” He Yizheng’s smile carried a tinge of malice, as his long legs moved closer, trapping her even more securely.
Although there was no actual physical contact, the closeness… A feeling of violation made all the cells in Su Zixi’s body scream in protest!
“Help! Somebody help!” Su Zixi suddenly screamed at the top of her lungs.
He Yizheng’s expression changed, and upon hearing hurried footsteps behind him, he was forced to awkwardly retreat several steps.
He looked at Su Zixi, who was taking deep breaths to calm herself, with a steely face.
In his many years dominating the field of romance, he had never encountered a woman who didn’t play by the rules!
Or rather, he had never met a woman who didn’t take the bait at all!
“Mr. He, Young Mistress. Is everything alright?” Adam pushed up his glasses, looking at them with suspicion.
He Yizheng pursed his lips and didn’t speak, but it was Su Zixi who nonchalantly waved her hand, “It’s nothing, I was just playing around.”
Adam’s eyes flickered, as if he had seen something, and he politely but firmly said to He Yizheng, “Mr. He, if you need to see the president, why don’t you wait until he returns?”
He Yizheng adjusted his suit jacket, responded with a light laugh, “That’s fine.”
With that, he turned and left.
However, that parting glance he gave Su Zixi still left her feeling deeply frightened.
“Young Mistress, I apologize. Mr. He is the president’s second uncle, and he often enters the president’s office alone, so we didn’t stop him,” Adam said uneasily.
Su Zixi understood implicitly, “I understand. I won’t say anything.”
“Thank you, Young Mistress,” Adam said, full of gratitude.
If the president found out that the Young Mistress had almost been bullied, they, as assistants, would certainly be to blame.
Now that the Young Mistress was willing to let bygones be bygones, it was for the best.
After Adam left, Su Zixi went to the water cooler, filled a cup for herself, and downed it.
It took a long time for her heart rate to return to normal. Yet, recalling He Yizheng’s frivolous attitude, she still felt very angry.
