I Have A Dual World Seal - Chapter 34
Chapter 34 Lin Wan’s Visit
Lu Zheng had exhausted himself the day before. He slept until he woke up naturally the next day and was full of energy.
“I’ve learned the Qi Refining and the Mountain-bearing Technique, as well as how to draw the five talismans. I’m so bored. What should I do now?”
Lu Zheng lay on the bed in a daze, allowing the sunlight from the window to shine on his well-defined, sculpted body.
“It’s a pity that the protective talisman can only defend against malicious and non-human auras in the great Jing dynasty.”
“I don’t know if there will be any protective talisman in the future. This is the only thing that the modern world doesn’t have.”
“I can’t go yet. It’s already amazing to be able to sense Qi in half a month. If I master all the techniques in three days …”
“Besides…”
Lu Zheng’s heart began to stir. Liu Qingyan clearly had a good impression of him. Should he accept her or not? “Dong Dong Dong.” Just as Lu Zheng’s hand was about to reach down, there was a sudden knock on the door.
“What?”
After Lu Zheng moved, no one knew that he lived here.
Property management?
Lu Zheng didn’t mind. He put on his short-sleeved shirt and shorts and opened the door.
“Lin Wan?”
To Lu Zheng’s surprise, the person standing at the door was not the property manager, but Officer Lin, whom he had met once before.
Accompanying Lin Wan were two other male police officers.
Well, although they weren’t wearing police uniforms, who else could they be?
Furthermore, Lu Zheng could vaguely sense that they were on guard against him.
Why?
“Lu Zheng,” Lin Wan nodded at Lu Zheng.
“Uh, what’s the matter?” Lu Zheng asked in confusion.
The two male police officers looked at each other, and Lin Wan said seriously, “there’s a case. We want to ask you a few questions, and we need you to go to the police station and make a statement.”
“What? a case?” Lu Zheng’s face was still full of confusion. “There’s a case that involves me?”
Lu Zheng’s expression changed. “Something happened to my parents?”
Lu Zheng was a good citizen. The only thing he could think of was that something had happened to his parents and the police had come to inform them.
Lu Zheng took out his phone and was about to call his mother.
The officer on Lin Wan’s left took a step forward and reached out to grab Lu Zheng’s wrist.
The other officer pressed down on Lu Zheng’s left shoulder.
“Don’t hurt him!” Lin Wan hurriedly shouted.
“What?”
Lu Zheng’s eyes narrowed. He dodged to the left and right, leaned forward, and collided with the first person.
“Bang!”
The second police officer was knocked into the opposite wall.
“Uh, I’m sorry!”
Before the three officers could say anything, Lu Zheng was shocked by himself.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry!” Lu Zheng stepped out of the door. Before the man fell, he hurriedly held him up. “I’m sorry. It happened so suddenly that I didn’t react in time.”
Lin Wan and the other two were speechless.
Lu Zheng’s reaction caused the first male police officer to stop in his tracks awkwardly.
Lin Wan didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. “What are you guys doing? Lu Zheng, this has nothing to do with your parents!”
“Ah? It wasn’t them who got into trouble? Then what other cases would be related to me?” Lu Zheng asked in surprise.
Lin Wan shook her head, but she was obviously relieved. “Come back with us, and we’ll tell you.”
“Oh, okay! Wait a moment, I’ll change my clothes and put on my shoes.”
“I’m sorry,” Lu Zheng apologized to the police officer he was supporting. “I’m so sorry!”
The man rubbed his chest and smiled forcefully.”It’s okay. It’s my fault. I was too reckless.”
Lu Zheng laughed drily before turning around and entering the house.
“Lu Zheng, can I go in?” Lin Wan asked from behind.
“Sure, come in!” Lu Zheng turned around and replied.
Lin Wan and the other two exchanged a look and then followed him in.
“Should we change our shoes?” “No need!”
“Do you live alone?” Lin Wan walked into the living room and looked around.
“Yes.”
“You live alone in such a big house. So you’re rich!”
“Not at all, I rented it. If I were really rich, I would have bought the house long ago.”
Lin Wan first looked at the dining table, then at the coffee table, and shook her head.
The other police officer strolled into the kitchen and quickly came back out, shaking his head.
The third police officer was leaning against the door of Lu Zheng’s bedroom. He was just in time to see Lu Zheng put on his coat.
He glanced around the bedroom, then turned around and left.
“I’m done. We can go now.” Lu Zheng walked into the living room.
Lin Wan smiled. “Thank you for your cooperation.”
“No problem!” Lu Zheng smiled.
The few of them went downstairs together and got into a seemingly ordinary Volkswagen Passat.
“Liu Leng, you sit in the front passenger seat.” Lin Wan shook her head at the other person.
“Ah, it’s not appropriate. What if …”
“Hehe.”
Lin Wan sneered, “what? As if there’s anything you can do in that situation.”
Liu Leng: TAT
Lu Zheng looked at Liu Leng on the right, then at Lin Wan on the left. He then opened the car door and sat inside.
The car started, and there were only two people in the back seat. Lin Wan smelled nice.
“Do you have a lot of questions?” Lin Wan looked at Lu Zheng.
“Yes,” Lu Zheng nodded. “What’s going on? I feel like you’re worried that I might resist.”
Lu Zheng wasn’t a fool. The men were ready to pounce on him as he was taking out his phone.
“When we get back to the station, we’ll answer your questions. There are rules, so we can’t tell you now.” Lin Wan explained.
“Sure.” Lu Zheng nodded.
“Don’t worry. We won’t accuse an innocent person.”
Lu Zheng’s eyes widened. “You’re making me feel guilty!”
Lu Zheng was very calm. As the saying goes, an innocent man is not afraid of the shadows. Although he was filled with curiosity, he was not worried.
Lin Wan could feel Lu Zheng’s relief, so she relaxed and joked around with him, “guilty? You were so guilty that you pushed Liu Leng against the wall?”
Liu Leng, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, turned around helplessly. “We are not friends anymore.”
Liang Yuandong, who was driving, was a middle-aged police officer. He turned around and looked at Lu Zheng, his eyes full of curiosity. “Lu Zheng, isn’t your reflex a little too fast?”
If not for the fact that Lu Zheng appeared to be more nervous than them, he would have called for backup.
Lu Zheng licked his lips and laughed dryly. “Well, no one attacked me before…”
Liang Yuandong: “So it’s our fault?” “Amazing! You can fight according to the situation.” Lin Wan looked at Lu Zheng, her eyes full of surprise. “You also defeated Li Yanjie in one move that day. What kind of martial arts are you practicing?”
“Li Yanjie? The guy who drives a Ferrari?” Lu Zheng raised his eyebrows.
“Right!” Lin Wan nodded her head and looked at Lu Zheng
“That guy is weak.” Lu Zheng shook his head. “I wasn’t using a fist technique to subdue him.”
“Ah?”
“It’s a sword-fighting technique.” Lu Zheng smiled.
