Chapter 253 – She called him again and still no answer. (4)
“No, I must go look for him.” Song Kexin stood up from the couch, looking displeased, and was about to walk out of the house.
She could easily find out which club he was at from the bodyguard and the chauffeur. The bodyguards merely didn’t follow him inside because they were instructed not to.
Song Kexin planned to go there in person.
Zhang Cui was startled by that. She quickly pulled Song Kexin back and said to her, “Don’t be rash. Haven’t you done this a few times in the past and all of them turned out to be false alarms? If you rushed over there rashly and turned out you were wrong, that will impact Yize negatively.
“You don’t want to upset Yize. Just wait a little while longer. I’m sure it’s nothing……”
Song Kexin shook her head when she heard that. “I don’t know why but I have a bad feeling this time.”
As she spoke, Song Kexin received a message on her phone from one of the bodyguards: [Madam, Boss and that woman had just walked out.]
Song Kexin felt her heart tightened. She quickly texted back to ask for more information. [Who is that woman? And what kind of state are those two in?]
The bodyguard didn’t know how to describe it so, instead, he took a picture and sent it to Song Kexin.
The picture came over and, in the photo, Lin Yize and the other woman were walking side by side with a certain distance between the two of them. They didn’t look very intimate and, it was obvious that the woman kept a specific distance between them purposefully.
When she was able to see the face of the woman in the photo clearly, Song Kexin’s face changed color abruptly.
The woman in the photo looked only too much like her and she could almost instinctively figure out who the woman was with just one look.
“It was her…” Song Kexin’s knees buckled and she fell onto the couch, looking pale.
Zhang Cui, next to her, had no idea what had happened and she quickly walked up nervously to lent support to Song Kexin.
“What’s the matter, Kexin? Talk to me,” asked Zhang Cui.
Song Kexin merely shook her head and said repeatedly, “It was her. Why her……”
“Who? What are you talking about, Kexin? You are making me worry.”
“Meng Zixin……”
At the beginning, Lin Yize did not mention that she was just a replacement. She only learned of that when she saw a girl in a picture who looked a lot like her when she was cleaning Lin Yize’s room one day. And that was also when she realized that when Lin Yize said “Xin-er”, he was not referring to her; he was referring to Meng Zixin.
By that time, Song Kexin had already fallen in love with Lin Yize, not to mention that she needed his money. As such, she decided to play dumb.
Even though it pained her deeply everything he called another woman “Xin-er” when he had her in his arms, Song Kexin insisted that the love that she had for him could heal and change Lin Yize eventually.
Later on, after many misunderstanding and much pain, Song Kexin had finally did it. She was finally able to replace the girl in Lin Yize’s heart and made him fall in love with her instead.
Everything was going perfectly well. Why was it that Meng Zixin had to resurface once again?!
Song Kexin bit her lower lip and there was hatred in her eyes.

Over on this side, perhaps because she had thought too much about the Lin’s and the story arc, even after she had fallen asleep, Gu Xi did not sleep very soundly.
The dream that she was afraid of the most happened once again.
In the dream, Gu Xi was running around madly, she called out for help at the top of her lungs, she pleaded with the others to let her go…… but none of them did anything for her.
Gu Xi felt no pain in her dream but she could feel the endless fear and helplessness. Her body hurt a lot, as though it was being torn into a million pieces.
Gu Xi looked around with difficulty and, from a certain direction, behind those who looked like devils, Lin Yize’s face became clear and clear to her.
He was looking at her, with that familiar look that could send chill down one’s spine.
