- Chapter 90 - I Was Dumped by My Childhood Friend, but Somehow I Was Confessed to by the School Idol and Lost My Peaceful Life Chapter 90
At any rate, Yui san’s band went back to the club room. And while I was looking for Rin with my mother, I received a message from Yui san. She said that Rin got separated form my mother and came to the clubroom to visit me.
I mean, she should use her phone, but she said she left it at home. That’s a very Rin-like reason.
After my mother and Rin had met up and went through the transfer procedures, I decided to perform a new song I had written for Iori in the courtyard.
–This song is a compilation of the time when I first met her and up until now, so it is a song that I have a strong emotional attachment to. Therefore, instead of using all the musical range that Iori can use, I focused on the range where Iori’s singing sounded the most appealing.
At the beginning of the song, I didn’t use a pick, but I used finger picking to add accompaniment and melody as if I were playing the piano. Of course, the melody is just for taste so that it doesn’t interfere with the song.
Then, from the middle part of the song, I gradually build up the song with passionate arpeggios. It expresses my anxious feelings until Iori confessed her love to me and I responded to her.
The chorus section, or the so-called chorus, is brought to a climax with chord strokes and cutting using a pick. Of course, it expressed the joy of being able to date Iori.
The chorus break is set up with a calm melody to make the song loop. But that’s not all. In this part, I expressed my gratitude to everyone in my own way.
I asked Iori to listen to this part and asked for her impression.
Of course, I didn’t tell her that this was the song about how we first met.
Then a tear rolled down her cheek.
“Sorry, I’m so sorry ……I didn’t mean to cry, but somehow, I was moved.”
“Iori…….”
“This song……it’s good, it’s filled with Naru’s feelings……and it’ll be our signature song.”
I received the best outcome.
“Hey Naru, let me write the lyrics. The words I want to say will overflow onto this melody.”
I am happy. I’m honestly happy.
“Yeah, please do.”
If this was more serious, a hug and kiss would have made a nice picture, but I was dressed as a woman and this is a school.
I refrained from doing so because it would have caused all kinds of controversy.
