- Chapter 21-2 - I’m in Trouble Because The Emperor Thinks My Time is Limited Chapter 21-2
Lindel felt the energy that was running all over her body quickly drained away. As if the wind was blowing out of the balloon, I collapsed onto the floor as I was walking.

There was silence around Lindel, who fell in an ugly appearance. When the magic attacks stopped, the surrounding area was as quiet as it possibly could be. Lindel couldn’t raise her face because of shame.
‘Why? Why did I suddenly lose strength?’
Even if I wanted to stand up and pretend to be okay, I didn’t even have the strength to lift a finger. My whole body was heavy as if the springing energy earlier was an illusion.
“Lindel!”
“Hey! Are you okay?”
Two men reacted a beat late. Lionel rushed toward Lindel, and Melanie was reaching out with a startled face. They stopped fighting as I had hoped, but I suddenly felt like dying. I was even more embarrassed because I remembered myself screaming at the two earlier. I would rather be a stone laying on the ground right now.
“Lindel!”
Lionel stared at Lindel. His eyes were full of worries as he raised my fallen body and looked for any injuries. Lionel began to misunderstand the other side of my body, which was stiff from the shame.
“What the hell is this?”
Lionel seemed startled by my trembling arms. However, I felt that the trembling of my arms was due to simple muscle pain.
‘I just moved it!’
When I bit my lip in shame, Lionel stopped her lips with a trembling hand.
“Oh, where is it? How much does it hurt? Huh? Lindel, please. No.”
Lionel looked frightened and anxious like a child. It seemed that he remembered the moment when I was lying down and throwing up blood. I was very fine, but I couldn’t bear to answer the questions. Rather, it was clear that if Melanie attacked again at such a defenseless moment, Lionel would be defeated without a hitch.
It’s not the time to be like this!
As I forcibly moved my neck, which did not turn, I saw the figure of Melanie. However, his reaction over there was as great as Lionel’s.
‘What’s wrong with him?’
Melanie stood still with a face similar to Lionel’s. As I frowned at the strangeness, I felt a familiar feeling in the back of my neck. As soon as I realized what it was, hot blood poured out from my neck.
“Ugh!”
A large amount of blood soaked my face as well as my neck and the floor. It happened at the moment, Lindel made eye contact with Lionel, who seemed to be mesmerized. I wanted to faint, but this time I didn’t faint. Lionel’s fiercely shaking eyes gave me a foreboding of what was going to happen. But unexpectedly, Melaine responded first.
* * *
“Y-You…!”
Melaine was horrified at what had happened to Lindel. He had seen blood coming from her cough earlier, but this was on a different level. Lindel, who had vomited so much blood that the smell of blood stung her nose lay down with a pale face. It would not be strange if she died immediately.
‘Why all of a sudden!’
The soul was still in place, and while Melaine and Lionel fought, Lindel was safely under mana’s protection. Therefore, there was no way she was affected by the fight between the two.
‘Except for the soul, there was nothing abnormal!’
Although she had the smell and power of a dragon that was too weak, there was nothing wrong with Lindel’s body other than her soul. Melaine looked at Lindel and thought she was missing something. Otherwise, there would be no way a normal person would suddenly vomit blood and collapse.
“How is Lindel’s soul now?”
At that moment, Lionel’s sharp voice awakened Melanie’s spirit. The trembling eyes suddenly took their place with a firm will before he knew it.
When Melanie didn’t answer, Lionel shouted sharply again.
“How’s Lindel’s soul?”
“T-There’s nothing wrong with her soul.”
“Go get the priest right now.”
Lionel gave the order as if it were natural. If it was the usual Melanie, he would have gone wild, but he nodded with a panicked face and ran outside. With the knowledge of a dragon, Melanie could have teleported but he seemed too distracted. Meanwhile, Lionel lifted Lindel and put her on the bed. The place where Lindel was standing was next to the bed, so unlike other places that were badly damaged, the bed was safe from the fight.
“Can you answer that?”
Lionel asked, rubbing Lindel’s trembling arm. It seemed to be to circulate her blood. Lindel looked at Lionel’s hands and nodded her head with difficulty.
“It’s all right.”
The smell of blood in her mouth was unpleasant, but it was not difficult to speak.
“Don’t faint. Don’t fall asleep this time Even if it’s hard, hold on. The priest will come soon.”
Lindel couldn’t faint even if Lionel didn’t say so. Her mind was so clear that she didn’t even feel like she could fall asleep.
‘Come to think of it, it’s strange.’
In the past, when Lindel vomited this much blood, she felt so dizzy as if she would collapse immediately. But now it was way too fine. Unlike her heavy limbs, Lindel’s insides were more comfortable than ever. Come to think of it, she wasn’t even out of breath.
‘It’s a bit different from usual.’
It was weird the more she thought about it.
While Lindel was agonizing over her mind, Melaine came back inside with a groaning sound.
“I brought him!”
As soon as Melanie answered, he put someone who was floating in the air on the floor.
“Oh, Madam Lindel! Are you all right?’
Lindell frowned at the familiar face. The person Melaine brought was the new priest in question.
Melaine said, not knowing how Lindel felt.
“I brought you the most outstanding human among the guys waiting outside the temple.”
“Madam Lindel! Trust me!”
The priest exclaimed cheerfully as if he wasn’t afraid even though he was forcibly dragged into the air. Judging by the fact that they were waiting for them, there must have been other people, but why did they insist on bringing that person with them!
Lindel glared at Melanie resentfully, but he interpreted it differently.
‘You must be having such a hard time!’
“I brought you as the most competent human, so don’t worry!”
Without knowing Lindel was swearing at him with her eyes, Melanie grabbed the priest.
