Chapter 95
A trial was held against members of Marquisate Blanche and Lumière.
…The result, as expected, was a death sentence. Due to the people’s anxiety about black magic, the execution of Lumiere’s sentence was advanced.
Elysia visited the temple with Cassian the day before her sentence was executed. Seeing that the Paladin and Esteban Knights were guarding the prison together, she accepted the greeting from a knight of the family and spoke to Cassian.
“Would you mind waiting outside?”
“If anything happens.”
“It can’t be. If anything happens, I’ll shout.”
After saying she’d be fine, she kissed his cheek. She wanted to talk alone with Lumiere. Of course, it would be impossible to have a conversation.
Cassian nodded reluctantly.
“I’ll be back.”
Taking a deep breath, she stepped her feet onto where Lumiere was. It was a dark prison with no light coming in, but there was no problem in looking ahead. When Elysia went to the innermost part, she could her sitting on the floor blankly.
“Lumiere.”
…Did she hear her calling?
The green eyes, staring into the air, turned to her.
“Even if Lady Aiden intervened, it was all because of what you did.”
So, she had no feelings for Lumiere’s death. Thinking that, Elysia looked at her quietly and spoke her words.
“Why did I come to this world?”
If Lumiere died, the reason may not be known until the very end. Although she didn’t want to go back, Elysia wanted to know.
“If it’s original, Elysia should be there instead.”
And, she would commit suicide…
Elysia raised the corners of her lips crookedly and took out what she had brought. How did it come to this…?
It was a thought she always had when she thought of Lumiere.
“Tomorrow, you will die in front of all the people of the Empire. I’m giving it to you because I think you wouldn’t have even gone as far as to find Peloit if it wasn’t for Lady Aiden.”
If Lumiere had been sane, she wouldn’t have touched black magic.
If she had been a returner, she would have known better than anyone what Elysia and Peloit would have been like. Then, she wouldn’t have offered a potion to Cassian on the day she would be kidnapped.
It was when Elysia leaned over and reached her hand through the iron bars, and set the bottle of poison down on the floor.
“Wait!!”
“You…”
Just as Lumiere was about to pull her body back, she grabbed Lumiere by the wrist, and someone suddenly approached her.
“Elysia.”
Cassian’s voice could be heard as he heard Lumiere scream. When she saw him approach, Elysia let go of her hand. She then got up and looked at Lumiere.
Even though she called her, her spirit did not seem to have returned.
She shook her head and trembled as if someone was coming. Then, as she stared into the air again, Elysia thought she had to go. She could see Cassian’s gaze turned behind her, so she turned her head to see Lumiere holding the bottle of poison.
“Ah…”
For a brief moment, Elysia wondered if she had done something wrong. An empty glass bottle fell from Lumiere’s hand, who gulped the poison at once, and rolled on the floor.
Cassian held onto her tightly as her legs loosened, and she was about to fall down.
“Don’t mind it.”
He covered her eyes as if not to let her see the collapsed Lumiere before turning her around and hugging her. Elysia buried her face in the nape of his neck and whispered softly.
“Let’s go back.”
“Okay.”
She also thought it was too vain and wretched to be the words of the original female lead, but that was what she did.
Had she been too depressed for a few days…? Cassian looked at her face again and again. He placed her on the bed and sat down in front of her, kneeling on one knee.
“Do you want to go back?”
“….”
Elysia didn’t understand his question, so she couldn’t answer right away. Because of that, Cassian’s face showed a slightly anxious expression.
“Where are you going back to? Maybe, where you were originally?”
What was he talking about now while he was usually scared? Thinking that, she reached out her hand and grabbed his cheeks.
“You told me. That Lady Blanche returned and brought you here.”
Elysia shook her head.
“Though you’re here, aren’t you? I can’t leave you behind.”
“I know. But, regardless of me, you can miss your original world.”
If he knew, why was he making such an anxious face? It didn’t seem like Cassian was just worried about her leaving his side.
“Don’t make that face because where you are, where I will be.”
Elysia patted his cheek as if to reassure him and smiled. Eventually, Cassian opened his mouth while clasping her hands together.
“It would be a lie to say that I have no regrets.”
He seemed convinced… He seemed to think that staying with him because of the imprint and lingering attachment to the original world were two different things.
At that, Elysia furrowed her brow, and she pressed her lips to him. Cassian got up and supported the back of her head as her head was tilted upwards at the kiss that pushed her while clasping her tongue strongly.
Then, she reached out her hand and hugged him by the neck and pressed her body close.
“I don’t think so. So, for now, focus on me.”
Even if Lumiere’s last words had to do with how to return to the original world, there was no way she could do that.
She took off Cassian’s clothes, and she buried her lips on the nape of his neck. As Elysia lowered her lips down to his chest, leaving a red trace, he grabbed her shoulder and laid her on the bed.
“…Elysia.”
Cassian hurriedly lifted her skirt.
Immediately, the sound of the buckle being released was heard.
“Elysia.”
The next moment, he leaned over and bit her earlobe. She wanted to answer the voice calling her again, but only moans leaked out because he kept touching sensitive areas.
“I don’t think I can stand it.”
His face was begging for permission, and his hands were already clasping her legs. As Elysia wrapped her legs around his waist, Cassian immediately pushed his waist up with her permission.
“Ahhh… Good.”
Cassian clenched his teeth. Because the foreplay wasn’t long, it was natural that the slow-moving gestures were speeding up.
His large hands gripped her pelvis tightly.
“Ah! Too fast…”
“You like it.”
At those words, her face turned red. Cassian moved strongly when he saw her raising her arms to cover her face in embarrassment.
“Elysia.”
It was a soft, low-pitched voice. She bit her lip, holding back her moans.
“Show me your face.”
Seeing Elysia shaking her head, Cassian reached out his hand and grabbed both her wrists. At the same time, she stubbornly bit her lip, holding back her voice.
“Elysia. Your real name.”
He leaned down and licked her bitten lips, parting her lips. Elysia received his kiss with a slightly blank expression at what he said while Cassian moved his body slowly as if giving her time to think.
“Huk… Cassian.”
“Tell me your real name.”
“Haa, why all of a sudden…”
She was bewildered by a question she had never thought about before. It was natural to think she had a real name different from Elysia as she was in a different world.
“Aren’t you going to tell me?”
“It’s not like that…”
Cassian began to move as if he was teasing her. The shallow stimulation made her give strength to her legs wrapped around his waist and pulling him, though she was interrupted by his hands.
“Because you suddenly asked, huh…”
She was embarrassed to think that he was calling her name. Hesitated, she eventually whispered her name softly. There wasn’t much of a difference. It was because the nickname her family called her was her name in her original world.
Elysia felt him suddenly gaining strength, and she opened her mouth in bewilderment.
“No, why is it bigger here…”
“I was excited when I heard the name.”
“….?”
Cassian tenaciously started touching only the places where she trembled, although Elysia was avoiding it because it tired her out quickly.
“Ahhh! Cassian… Wait, wait… Stop.”
“Really? Do you want me to stop?”
Cassian leaned over and whispered a small whisper in her ear.
“Sia.”
“Ah…!”
Elysia felt dizzy, and she put her nails on his back. Meanwhile, Cassian moved slowly, waiting for Elysia’s trembling to go away. He began to move in earnest as if it was just the beginning.
The thought that somehow it was different from usual did not last long because her head went white.
Elysia was lying flat on Cassian’s stomach. She had long since stopped counting the number of times they had overlapped without a break… How long since she took a rest that she could already feel a hand gripping her waist.
And then, a whisper of her name in her ear.
“Stop… Really… Stop calling me.”
He kept calling her name, and she thought she was going crazy. She had only given her name, but Cassian rushed into her more than usual. He raised his eyebrows as if he didn’t understand.
“That’s your real name.”
“Ha… It is, but it’s too…”
“Too?”
Elysia pushed his hand that was between her legs and bit her lip. It seemed that she could never say that it seemed more stimulating to hear her name. However, the next words didn’t help either.
“Do you like it better?”
“No.”
“I think that’s it.”
She narrowed her eyes, and she glanced at him at his words.
“Elysia is also my name, because I am Elysia now.”
She never thought she wasn’t Elysia. She thought she could live in this world only if she thought that the name Elysia was also her name. As she thought about it, it suddenly became her name.
Hearing her story, Cassian nodded his head.
“Then, shall I only call you that in bed?”
“No.”
“Huh. Elysia’s nickname is also Sia, right?”
Cassian got up again and climbed on top of her.
Elysia was caught by him for a long time, and after hearing her name, she eventually surrendered to do whatever he wanted.
