- Chapter 109 - I’m Stuck on a Remote Island With the Male Leads Chapter 109
Fortunately, the magic circle was completed just before my legs went limp, and the completed magic circle permeated around Enoch’s shoulder.
I slumped down watching the torn and open wounds gradually heal.
“Margaret!”
Two men grabbed me at the same time.
“It’s okay. I’m just a bit tired. I’ll be fine after resting.”
I sat down with my back against a log and sighed.
After meeting Enoch and Kayden, my tension was relieved, and the fatigue that had been piled up for so long came all at once. Furthermore, since I used mana, the aftermath seems to be more severe.
I sat with a tired face and looked down at my stomach, which was completely healed and smooth. My ribs which I thought were fractured before don’t even hurt anymore.
“It seems that you can recover on this island strangely quickly,” I muttered.
I covered my mouth and yawned. I’m sleepy.
Enoch looked at me, putting on his ragged shirt, and Kayden, who sat down next to me again, nodded his head.
“Well, neither my hair nor beard grows. Seeing that you can’t even use magic, it’s like a space that exists in a completely different time and space.”
It’s right that it’s in a different time and space.
‘I’m a bit dizzy.’
I felt dizzy for a moment and touched my forehead. Enoch and Kayden looked at me at the same time, as if they had been watching my every move carefully.
“Are you okay?” asked Kayden.
I blankly looked up at him.
Come to think of it, how long have we been on this island?
It seems like four months have already passed, when will we be able to escape?
Did Kayden lose the bag he usually carries with him?
Sigh.
Somehow, I feel a lot of heat rising in my body.
Well, I went through all kinds of hardships alone after coming to this island, but I was never very sick except when Diego stole my dress.
‘That was rather strange.’
“Margaret.”
Enoch’s large hand carefully lifted my chin. His golden eyes fell into my field of vision.
“You’re not feeling well.”
Enoch scanned my face, examining my complexion. Kayden also put the back of his hand on my forehead.
He said, “Looks like you’re getting a fever. Your forehead is like a fireball. It’s pretty serious.”
To say it’s pretty serious sounds like I’m in really bad shape. I slowly blinked and sat languidly against a log.
“It’s okay. I’ll be fine after a little sleep.”
“Do you have any other injuries? Well, like being poisoned.”
Kayden made a fuss as he examined my body. Feeling exhausted, I slowly blinked my eyes and shook my head.
“It’s not like that. I am okay.”
I wonder if Enoch is blaming himself because he thinks it’s because I am treating him again. I guess I’m just really exhausted.
My eyelids went down with difficulty as if weighed down by a heavyweight.
“I’m fine…… just……. I guess I’m just really exhausted…….”
“Margaret?!”
After Kayden’s urgent call, I lost consciousness.
***
I faintly came to my senses.
My body is freezing cold. It feels like being thrown barefoot into a field of snow in the middle of winter.
No matter how big the daily temperature difference is, you won’t be able to feel this much chill in a tropical climate.
“Margaret, are you awake? How are you feeling?”
“Damn it, she’s still cold. Can’t I just use more magic?”
“If you use magic again, Margaret might be in real danger.”
The urgent conversation between Kayden and Enoch came back and forth. I felt as if thick arms were wrapped around my shoulders and waist.
I lifted my trembling eyelids with difficulty. Enoch’s face came into my sight gradually.
My lips trembled with cold. As my body also trembled, the arm that was wrapped around my waist became tighter.
“Margaret, are you still cold?” Kayden’s worried voice came from behind.
In front of me, Enoch asked me in an anxious voice, “How are you feeling?”
‘What kind of situation is this?’
Even though I opened my eyes, it was not easy to grasp the situation.
In front of my nose, Enoch was naked, with his arm around my shoulders, and from behind, it seems like Kayden was hugging my waist. As expected, I could feel the touch of bare skin on my back.
But it was a brief moment of confusion. It’s so cold and my head is spinning that I can’t stand it.
“Cold……”
Now my mouth was frozen as well, so I only trembled and no words came out.
As I trembled and shuddered, the two men pressed closer to me together without any gaps.
The two men took off their shirts and hugged me from the front and back to keep my body temperature.
“Eunji, can you burn some more?”
I raised my head with difficulty at Kayden’s voice. Then, I saw Eunji diligently blowing the fire on the firewood next to us.
Eunji worked hard at doing what Kayden asked him to do but then jumped up with an irritated face as if asking why.
Then, when our eyes met, he fidgeted and slithered around, then lit the firewood diligently again.
“Don’t you think Margaret’s body has gotten colder? At this rate…….”
“Don’t say anything bad.”
“Shit.”
I leaned my cheek against Enoch’s warm chest. Hugging me from behind, Kayden buried his face in my shoulder and kissed it with his moist lips. I could only feel the warmth of his breath on my shoulder, but I couldn’t appreciate the annoying touch of his lips.
Fortunately, the two men have a lot of heat in their bodies, so I don’t feel as cold as before.
‘By the way…… what an embarrassing position.’
I feel like I want to hide in a rat hole.
However, this method must have an effect on raising body temperature.
It is clear who suggested this method, but Enoch’s willingness to do this is somewhat surprising.
I struggled to pull myself together. I have to say something. I clenched my teeth and tightened my trembling lips.
“What is this— ahem.”
I tried to say something, but then a ridiculously hoarse voice came out, so I covered my mouth for a second and cleared my throat. How embarrassing.
“Margaret? Are you okay?”
“How is your body?”
Kayden and Enoch sat up at the same time and looked at my face in turn. As soon as they left me, a chill came over me in an instant.
“Margaret.”
Enoch called me once more in a friendly voice. I grabbed him by the arm, trembling.
He looked down at me with a puzzled face.
‘What should I do? Should I say such an embarrassing thing or not?’
While thinking about it dozens of times, I let out a soundless scream as I felt the chilling cold to the bone from the blowing wind. I’m still wearing Enoch’s jacket and Kayden’s robe, but that’s still not enough.
“Oh, can’t you do what you did before?”
“What?”
At my words, Enoch and Kayden looked down at me with puzzled faces. I shivered in the cold, frowning. Male Leads, why can’t you understand me?
“It’s cold, so please hug me.”
I spoke more clearly than before.
There was a moment of silence after I said that.
‘I’ll die of embarrassment.’
Embarrassment began to pour into the continuous silence.
‘I shouldn’t have said that, damn it.’
At that moment, breaking the silence, Kayden exclaimed and turned me over.
“Wow, Margaret. Can you tell me that while looking at me?”
“……I don’t think I heard wrong.”
Then came the sound of Enoch’s sighing.
They seemed unable to get out of the afterglow of what I had said, but I was in no mood to care about that. So, in the end, I just held back my tears.
“Oh, please! Just give me a hug! I’m cold!”
The two men made surprised faces at my scream filled with annoyance. Then, Kayden burst out laughing.
I don’t know where to put my eyes because the sight before me is nothing but bare skin.
I gradually came back to my sense, though it was still cold.
It seems we are still inside the barrier. I was lying on the ground with a large leaf as a blanket.
Enoch lay down in front of me again, put his arm around my shoulders, and patted the back of my head. I leaned my cheek against his bare chest and tried to shake off my embarrassment. Somehow, it feels like the heat is rising in a different way.
Then Kayden hugged me from behind, rubbing his face like a cat on my shoulder and laughing.
“Oh, this is so good. Margaret asked me to hug her.”
“Margaret is uncomfortable, don’t touch her too much.”
Somehow, every sentence Enoch spoke was fierce and bloody. It was as if the anger he had been holding back had leaked out for a moment.
From behind, I heard Kayden grumbling.
I wonder if maybe they had been arguing like that the whole time I was passed out. Is that why the two of them are hugging me and sharing their body temperature?
Enoch paid him no heed and gently patted the back of my head.
‘What’s this? Are they doing a war of nerves?’
Anyway, it’s okay because it’s warm. Thanks to them, I survived today.
