Let’s Divorce! - Chapter 24
Chapter 24 Stalking Her
“Ranran, didn’t you promise me to be good and that you wouldn’t make things difficult for me?” Mu Hua asked.
He couldn’t bear to make Xia Ran sad, but he couldn’t ignore Zhu Qian either.
Xia Ran felt wronged, but she couldn’t refute because it was indeed her fault this time. She was actually framed by Zhu Qian.
“Would it be better if we had a child? Will you not divorce me for the sake of the child? If so, we can have a child immediately!” Xia Ran finally asked the question by mustering all her courage.
Mu Hua was slightly taken aback and seemed to hesitate, but his answer made Xia Ran feel more desperate than ever.
“Ranran, I’ve already answered your question. Whether we have children or not, I’ll marry Zhu Qian. This won’t change,” Mu Hua continued in a low voice. “Besides, you’re still young and haven’t finished school. If you get pregnant, it will affect your graduation and the rest of your life.”
Speaking of which, he seemed to be sayng so for her own good.
Xia Ran couldn’t control her tears anymore, but she tried her best to widen her eyes and stop them from falling.
She forced a smile. “That’s true. It’ll delay my life. You won’t spend the rest of your life with me. I’ll have to deal with the rest of my life on my own. I know that. You want what’s best for me.”
Mu Hua felt uncomfortable when he heard her words.
It was as if she had begun to accept that they would definitely get a divorce.
Xia Ran nestled in Mu Hua’s arms quietly. Her heart ached, but she didn’t want to say it again. He wanted a child, but now that Zhu Qian was back, he could even give up the child.
“Alright, go to sleep. I’m going to the hospital,” Mu Hua reminded Xia Ran.
If he didn’t go now, Zhu Qian would definitely call to rush him. He didn’t want Xia Ran to hear it.

Xia Ran didn’t ask him to stay this time. She just left Mu Hua’s arms. “Go. She’s the one you truly want to accompany.” The words were clearly laced with jealousy. Mu Hua frowned. “Ranran, don’t say such things.”
“Are you angry? I’m telling the truth. In your heart, she’s the one who can accompany you for the rest of your life. She’s the one you really want to protect. Then go! I won’t stop you, so what else do you want me to do?” Xia Ran wanted to restrain herself. She didn’t want to be willful or lose her temper.
But after what Mu Hua had said, she was unable to control her anger.
Mu Hua was a proud man. He had always been high and mighty. Everyone looked up to him and obeyed him. He had never needed to lower himself to accommodate others. He had already made exceptions for Xia Ran time and time again.
He could coax Xia Ran, but not without a bottom line. A little girl’s immature willfulness would also annoy him.
“Good. If that’s what you think, we’ll do it your way.” Mu Hua’s expression hardened, and he turned to leave.
Xia Ran wanted to stop him, but she held back the words that were about to come out of her mouth.
With a violent slam of the door, the house returned to silence. Tears streamed down Xia Ran’s face. She ran upstairs and locked herself in her room.
Mu Hua left the house. After getting into the car, he regretted being so harsh to Xia Ran just now. However, Xia Ran’s temper was getting worse and worse. He had to discipline her.
After he drove away, a figure appeared not far away. He quickly sent the photo to Zhu Qian.
“Ms. Zhu, Mr. Mu did come to see his wife tonight. They went to the movies together and he bought her a necklace. Then Mr. Mu sent her home.”
Zhu Qian’s expression was grim when she heard the private eye’s words. Was Mu Hua so reluctant to part with that little girl? He said that he was going to the company, but in the end, he accompanied that little girl to the movie and even gave her a necklace!
“Continue to follow them. Think of a way to take photos of Xia Ran and other men. If you manage to take them, the remuneration will be doubled. If necessary, you can also use some methods. It depends on whether you have the brains to earn this money,” Zhu Qian instructed the private detective.
The private detective’s blood was boiling as he listened. How generous!
“Sure, no problem!”
After a while, Mu Hua appeared in the ward. He looked at Zhu Qian, who was sleeping soundly on the bed. His eyes were filled with exhaustion. He really didn’t want to come here.
He wondered if Xia Ran would cry again at home.
