Let’s Divorce! - Chapter 34
Chapter 34 Don’t Believe Her
Before Mu Hua returned home, he sent his assistant, Ah Lin, to investigate Sun Lian.
Since he was in the same orphanage as Xia Ran, he was easy to investigate.
As soon as he got home, Mu Hua saw Zhu Qian sitting in the living room. Of course, Zhu Qian saw him too. She was happy for a moment, but then Mu Hua went straight upstairs without any intention of greeting her.
Zhu Qian’s expression darkened, but she couldn’t say anything. Otherwise, she would expose herself.
“Ranran, open up, I’m home!” Mu Hua said, knocking on the door when he realized it was locked.
“Mu Hua!” When the door opened, Xia Ran threw herself into Mu Hua’s arms. She was still trembling slightly, as if she was frightened.
Before Mu Hua returned, Xia Ran had been wondering why Sun Lian had done that. She didn’t believe that there was no one behind it.
Then who could it be? Other than Zhu Qian, Xia Ran couldn’t think of anyone else.
Zhu Qian was her only enemy in her entire life.
Not wanting Zhu Qian to hear anything, Xia Ran closed the door.
“What the hell happened?” Mu Hua took Xiaran’s hand and checked her for injuries. “Are you hurt? Did he touch you?”
When he asked this question, the hostility emanating from Mu Hua made Xia Ran feel afraid.
She knew that Mu Hua was worried about her, but if she was really raped, could Mu Hua continue to be with her without any qualms?
No man could do it, right? Xia Ran suddenly figured it out. If Zhu Qian really did it, everything would make sense. She wanted her to be raped and separate Mu Hua from her.
Xia Ran shook her head. “No, but almost. Mu Hua, I was really scared to death. There were several people surrounding me!”
Several others? Mu Hua’s gaze grew colder.
“By the way, Mu Hua, who wants to harm me?” Xia Ran asked deliberately. She wanted to tell Mu Hua her guess, but she was worried that Mu Hua wouldn’t believe her.
“I thought you said you used to be friends with him in the orphanage?” Mu Hua asked, frowning
“He was indeed the one who asked me out, but we haven’t seen each other for a long time. We’re basically strangers. How did he get my contact number? Why did he suddenly ask me out? I think someone instigated him to harm me.” Xia Ran analyzed. “You have enemies?” Mu Hua asked again. He had investigated Xia Ran and her interpersonal relationships were very simple. Xia Ran pouted. “I didn’t before, but I do now.”
Mu Hua quickly understood what she meant. The enemy she was referring to was Zhu Qian.
However, Zhu Qian was blind now and lived at home. How could she send someone to harm Xia Ran? Mu Hua didn’t believe her. “Do you have evidence? Or is it just a guess?”
“It’s just a guess, but Mu Hua, don’t you think it makes sense? She even asked me to leave you. If they really succeeded today, we really would have been separated!” Xia Ran felt that Mu Hua didn’t believe her, and her heart instantly sank.
“Ranran, can you not think so badly of Zhu Qian? If she was really that kind of person, she would have forced me to divorce you long ago!” Mu Hua didn’t like Xia Ran being so against Zhu Qian.
Xia Ran was stunned. Did Mu Hua actually think that she was deliberately framing Zhu Qian?
She was disappointed. “Mu Hua, why do you always side with her?”
‘You’ve already blinded her. Isn’t it enough that she has forgiven you?’ Mu Hua frowned.
“I said it wasn’t me!” Xia Ran was agitated. Why should she be the scapegoat?
Mu Hua’s expression was cold. “But it’s clear from the surveillance, Xia Ran. I want you to get along with her and stop making things difficult for me.”
Xia Ran’s eyes instantly turned red. “What if she did it? What if she wasn’t blind at all?”
“Then show me the proof!” Mu Hua said. “If she did it, I’ll give you justice.”
Then he went downstairs.
Initially, he wanted to come back and accompany Xia Ran. After all, after what happened, this little girl must be very afraid.
He didn’t expect to hear Xia Ran slandering Zhu Qian when he returned. Although he had no feelings for Zhu Qian, he still owed her too much. He couldn’t let Zhu Qian suffer anymore.
“Who is it?” Zhu Qian deliberately pretended to be blind when she saw Mu Hua coming downstairs.
“It’s me,” Mu Hua said. He looked into Zhu’s empty eyes. She didn’t look like she was pretending to be blind. And her blindness had been diagnosed by the hospital.
