Level Up - Chapter 24
Level up-chapter 24:
Secret Dungeon
Hyun Seok calmly examined the movements of the beast. Although the Power-up kit had little time left, it was really dangerous to hurry.
Dealing with the force of that gorilla-sized beasts must be aimed correctly. One wrong move could lead to death. There must be a way to slay them.
They were a little dissimilar from any other beast. And Hyun Seok knew the difference better than anyone else. He had a lot of experience with such beasts.
‘Now!’
The mana poured out of the groin of the beast. It was the spot where Hyun Seok had stabbed earlier. It was one of the main channels of mana in their body, where tremendous mana flows. Hyun Seok was waiting for that moment. Of course he didn’t miss the opportunity.
Before anyone knew, Hyun Seok had been digging under the beast’s chin and stabbing the sword upward.
“Oh, my god!” He exclaimed.
Hyun Seok’s sword went deep into the second tender point of the beast’s neck and jaw. He immediately pulled the sword out and turned to the right of the beast to attack it’s other weak point. He swung the sword to the side lightly.
“Oh, my dear!” The sword penetrated exactly under the arm of the beast. That was the third weakness of the beast.
Kugugugung!
The beast started moving violently in pain. However, it could no longer emit rays from its eyes as mana passage under the chin was broken, also the attack power using mana disappeared.
In addition, its right arm did not move smoothly because Hyun Seok was under its arm. The effective time of the Power-up kit was over by now. For the next 20 minutes, he had to fight only with his original skills.
“Now that my strength has vanished, shall we start another round?”
However, Hyun Seok was not afraid or nervous at all. To achieve this, he’d been working extremely hard. Both Hyun Seok and the beast rushed towards each other.
Fuusssssh! Fuusssssh!
A brutal smile crept across Hyun Seok’s face as the fierce battle began.

Hyun Seok, who lured the beast one by one and finished it step by step, turned his head around to look at the last remaining beast.
There was no need to do anything anymore. However, it was better to fight in the most familiar way, just like what he did to the 3 beast, so he decided to not try any new technique to fight with the one last beast.
Suddenly, he realised that he had never confirmed the information of those beasts. First of all, he was really curious after the thought came to his mind.
This was the 12th Supply Warehouse. If so, those beasts were likely to be guardians of Supply Warehouses. It was necessary to check if he was correct or not. Hyun Seok focused his eyes on the beast and checked it’s information using his mana power.
[SG-00345]
A question hit Hyun Seok’s mind. “What the hell is that?”.
‘Doesn’t the name sound like a serial number written on a machine? The appearance makes it clear that it’s a beast. But why does it’s name look like that?’
‘I thought it would be some kind of steel gorilla. Since the beast looks like a gorilla. I expected the name to be the same. Like back in the old dungeon, An Ant as hard as steel was called an Iron Ant proudly.’
Hyun Seok focused more on the beast’s name by using mana. Until now, he had only tried this with Players, it shows a confirmation information of Players with half the success rate.
[SG-00345]
[Bio-weapons placed to protect the Supply Warehouse.]
Hyun Seok’s eyes widened. He continued to read the information. However, the content was unusual.
‘A biological weapon? Does that mean they’re not real? Or does it signify that they are artificially made? Or…Uh, did someone create the beasts in the first place?’
Hyun Seok’s mind became complicated. But one thing was for sure that he had to get rid of that biological weapon. And he had to push open the steel door that is tightly closed to go inside that cave.
Hyun Seok took a metal ball and swelled it with mana. And he threw it hard far at the entrance, standing there.

The Chilseong Faction was one of the leading organizations in Korea. There were only two other organizations comparable to the Chilseongites*.
In addition, the Capital Seoul had the vastest influence of the Chilseong Faction action, so it was regarded as the best organization in Korea.
Kang Joong Tae, the leader of the Chilseong Faction, is considered quite young for leading such a huge organization. He was a man who knew how to invest in the future of the organization. He put his all efforts into the dungeons.
When several guilds were supported in the dark, Kang Joong Tae employed them to target different dungeons, also secretly including them in the organization’s work.
Among them, the Crimson Poison Guild was raised by Kang Joong Tae with all his heart and soul.
“Have you acquired any information about him yet?”
When asked by Kang Joong Tae, Kim Sung Woo, who is his henchman and the brain of the Chilseong Faction, looked nervous.
“No, I haven’t been able to reach them.”
“Is he the only one in Crimson Poison? We can call someone else and find out where they are!”
“I tried but no one knows. They were just hunting but our connection disconnected.” Kang Joong Tae frowned.
” So… were they hiding with all the guild members who weren’t even hunting?”
“Just do it!”
“I’m not sure yet. Besides, Joo Kyung Chul has no reason to leave us and disappear.”
“How do you know what they are planning? Start with his girlfriend.”
” The women of Joo Kyung Chul are all identified, they don’t have any current information about him. There’s very little possibility of a new woman.”
Kang Joong Tae stared at Kim Sung Woo with a fiery look.
“You think I want that kind of answer?”
Kim Sung Woo was startled by the remark and shut his mouth. Kang Joong Tae’s anger was felt all over his body. Perhaps one more word here would make it difficult for him to survive no matter how important he was in the Chilseong Faction.
“We’ll find them somehow.”
“Presently we’re on the same wavelength. Find him right now and get him in front of me.”
Kim Sung Woo bowed politely to Kang Jung Tae’s words, which eased his anger slightly, and quickly went outside.
Kang Joong Tae relaxed his expression when Kim Sung Woo went out and leaned on the sofa.
“That’s weird.”
He made a fuss to Kim Sung Woo by saying to dig up a relationship between Joo Kyung Chul and women, but Kang Joong Tae knew better than anyone else that Joo Kyung Chul could not
disappear on his own.
“Something might have happened to him.”
In this case, it was much better to find out from the other side. Kang Joong Tae picked up his phone and called somewhere.
“Hello! Long time no see. How have you been?”
Kang Joong Tae’s tone was extremely polite. There was a constant smile on his face that seemed to be fake.
“I’m calling because I have something to ask you. Yes, that’s right. It’s our job.”
Kang Joong Tae’s eyes flashed.
“I think Kyung Chul is missing. I’d like you to find out what’s going on.”
Kang Joong Tae then hung up after exchanging a few more greetings.
“As expected, it’s best to assign our work to a professional.”
The person he just contacted was an expert on Dungeon and an intelligence expert. No matter how bossy he’s to the Chilseongites, he could never talk recklessly to the professional Player.
His connections, money, and power were really great. The Players under his command are numerous including the Crimson Poison Guild.
Anyway, since he said he would come forward and achieve it, Kang Joong Tae was sure he’d find traces of Joo Kyung Chul.
The question was whether the Chilseong Faction can handle it or not.
“Once he discovered you. I’ll show you what a desperate punishment is. Joo Kyung Chul!”
Kang Joong Tae’s eyes flashed a creepy life.
* * *
“Hooooooooooo.”
Hyun Seok sat on the body of the last beast and took a deep breath of relief.
It was a tough fight, one by one. The odds were certain, but it was really hard because Hyun Seok couldn’t relax in between. After the fight, his whole body exhausted its strength.
Hyun Seok looked up at the entrance to the cave that was far away. It was tightly closed by Iron doors, and he knew that the material of the door was not just Iron, but he was not worried about that.
The way to open the door was simple. He could open it if he knew how to handle mana properly.
It was Hyun Seok who will open that door in the future anyway. Naturally, at that time, they had to spend three days opening the door.
Hyun Seok got up from his seat, supporting his knees. He groaned as his whole body creaked. But he will get better soon. That’s what Players are like.
Mana was swinging vigorously all over his body. It gave him strength, but sometimes it also gave him tirelessness and tremendous resilience.
However, Hyun Seok’s body was recovering rapidly. After slowly walking to the entrance of the cave, Hyun Seok placed his palm at the door.
Basically, the way to open the door was similar to the way he entered the entrance of the dungeon earlier. It was a way to match the pattern of mana.
However, the pattern of this door was different from the entrance of the dungeon.
The mana patterns were made much more complex by some special rules, which could never be opened without knowing. If Hyun Seok tried to break this door by force, he couldn’t get what was inside. Everything will be destroyed.
Hyun Seok knew very well about the mana pattern on the door. It was solved once in the future, so he had to just remember how he did it.
He made some patterns with his hands. After confirming that, Hyun Seok twirled his palms to the side as before to flow mana out of his hand.
Jeng!
There was a mana wave. And the gap in the door began to widen. Hyun Seok quickly stepped back. Soon the door opened wide and the inside was revealed.
“Whoa! This is the real beginning.”
‘Now I absolutely know why this place is called a Supply Warehouse. However, this Supply Warehouse was not just an ordinary warehouse.’
The things inside took a considerable price. The price of a life-threatening fight.
Hyun Seok finally checked the Power-up kit in his pocket and walked into the cave.
Pababababababak!
As soon as Hyun Seok entered, a series of shiny lumps arose on the ceiling of the cave. It was as if a light had been installed along the corridor.
However, it was clear that it was not a real light. The lights can’t be floating in the air like this.
“Looking at this.it’s just like a warehouse.”
There was no reason to provide such light if it was just a place to antagonize those who came in. Darkness will be more advantageous to the enemy. Many of them become considerably stronger in the dark.
There was water floating in the air. Making it appear more beautiful.
“And besides. They wouldn’t have to decorate them like they’re on display.”
Artifacts were placed one by one in the space made by digging walls in the middle of the hallway. But he can’t just obtain those yet. Something was slowly approaching at the end of the cave, blowing an ominous mana.
“From here.it starts the real treasure hunt.”
Hyun Seok’s eyes flashed, and a deep smile hung around his mouth. The exciting battle time is back.
