- Chapter 95 - Lonely Me and the Lonely Caring Goddess Chapter 95
After school, Sara-senpai accompanied me to the hospital.
The checkup and x-ray examination found that there was a small crack in the bone.
The doctor told me I had a sprain and needed rest for the time being.
“Please leave everything to me. I will take care of you as best I can. It was my fault, so please allow me to take full responsibility.”
Senpai said with a somewhat playful expression.
I think I know what she’s thinking.
She was not only taking care of me at school, but also at home, if I considered what happened when I caught a cold.
Unlike that time, we both want to care for each other. But both of us should take it slowly.
And we have plenty of time to spare.
“Let us start with today’s dinner. We should stop for grocery shopping along the way.”
As expected of Senpai, she knows I didn’t have food ingredients at home. Well, it’s the truth.
But there’s a problem. I still haven’t told Senpai that my relatives aren’t preparing my dinner. So I’ll need to tell her all about it.
“Umm, Sara-senpai… about dinner…”
“Yes? Is there something wrong?”
“At the start, I told you that my relatives were the ones making it for me, but…”
“I’m glad you finally told me the truth.”
Then Senpai turned around as if to hide her embarrassment.
So, she already knew.
Did she notice it by herself?
“I recognized it as soon as I saw your kitchen, but I kept quiet. I’m glad you’re honest with me now, but can I ask why?”
Indeed, there’s no way she wouldn’t have noticed seeing a kitchen with no signs of use.
“I simply thought Senpai would be angry.”
I told her the miserable reason since I didn’t want to hide anything from her.
Then Senpai put her hands on her hips and made a pose of being angry and puffed out her cheeks.
I almost laughed at her adorable angry pose.
“Mou~. Tell me honestly, or I’ll be angry, okay?”
She said and flicked my forehead with her index finger.
Yes! Thanks for the Moe sermon!

We decided to stop at a grocery store on the way to buy some things.
Without saying anything else, I asked Senpai to pick out a key holder and a simple wallet.
She likes cute things, so naturally, she made an attractive choice.
We found ourselves in a park after leaving the store and walking for a while.
I had decided to tell her here.
Ha~a… This is nerve-wracking.
As we entered the park, Senpai followed me in silence.
Maybe she noticed what I wanted to do.
“Sara-senpai, there’s something I need to talk about.”
I faced Senpai and made direct eye contact.
I’m so nervous thinking that I’m about to say something outrageous.
“Yes… I will gladly listen.”
Senpai answered firmly.
She doesn’t look afraid. I’ll tell her what I was thinking during the daytime.
“I told you all about jealousy earlier, didn’t I? I said many things, but overall, it was quite difficult to stop. Of course, I have a possessive side too, so if I saw Sara-senpai getting along with another guy, I would get jealous. That’s why I’ve been saved by seeing Sara-senpai being harsh with other guys until now.”
Sara-senpai was quietly staring and listening. I then continued my story.
“I selfishly thought I was different from other guys and was someone special to Sara-senpai like some fool. I’m sorry…”
Sara-senpai smiled and nodded.
“There’s no need for apologies. Rather, you felt that I thought so, didn’t you?”
So. This is what I felt, albeit selfishly. And I believed it because of Sara-senpai’s attitude towards other guys.
But I had not been able to make Sara-senpai conscious of it. Even if I had told her in words, she would still feel uneasy if she couldn’t find it out herself.
Moreover, it was Sara-senpai’s first time in love.
It would be impossible for me to try to behave like Sara-senpai all of a sudden, and even if I did, she would ask me to take it easy.
So, the best move for me is to prove it to her in an easy-to-understand way, what I feel about Sara-senpai.
“Yes. But I still wanted to prove that Sara-senpai is special to me.”
I pulled out my room key from my pocket, removed it from the keychain, and put it on the keyholder Sara-senpai had picked out earlier.
Sara-senpai looked at me absent-mindedly. She probably won’t understand if I don’t explain.
I took her hand and placed the keyholder in her hand. After that, I grabbed her hand with both of mine, holding it in a wrap.
Then I continued.
“From today on, I’m going to leave this key to Sara-senpai. It may sound pathetic, but I can’t live without you. Even if I’m not injured, I couldn’t stand to live a single day without you.” (TN: High school wife? )
I know what I’m saying is a little shameful.
But I meant what I said, so I proceeded.
“Only Sara-senpai and I have this key. I hope this proves that Sara-senpai is the only one I want by my side more than anyone else. You’re the only one I trust, so I believe in you. Think of it as a declaration that I will accept you, Sara-senpai, whenever and however you are.”
How was it…?
I did my best to convey how I felt.
I wanted to prove it by giving her my room key. And I thought it would make Sara-senpai understand that I was serious about her.
Besides, she has been to my house many times already. And it would be helpful to her in the future if she has it.
After hearing my words, Senpai closed her eyes and looked at me with a meek expression.
“I was thinking carefully about the meaning of you giving me this key. But overall, I will keep it.”
Senpai said in an even politer tone.
After storing the key in the holder, she carefully put it in her bag.
Then, she looked at me with a pleasant smile.
She moved closer and then snuggled onto me.
“Sa-Sara-senpai!”
I couldn’t move. Of course, I was not upset with Senpai’s bold move.
As if enjoying my upset look, Senpai talked to me teasingly.
“Fufu… Since you had already given me your word that you will accept me anytime and in any way, I will ask you to take responsibility, okay, Takanashi-san?”
Saying this, Senpai happily snuggled and looked up at me from below with a bright red face. The look on her face and her tone of voice doesn’t match.
