- Chapter 97 - Lonely Me and the Lonely Caring Goddess Chapter 97
*Chop-chop-chop*
Currently, in front of me, Sara-senpai was dressed in the apron I gave her and standing in the kitchen.
Senpai held me close yesterday, the day after I took my medication until I was entirely peaceful.
Since she persisted in staying the night, it was getting relatively late when I finally convinced her to take a taxi home.
Soon after that, I went to sleep, but this morning, I awoke to the smell of Senpai’s cooking.
“Good morning, Takanashi-san. I already used your key because I didn’t want to wake you up.”
As for me, of course it was not a problem.
However, isn’t it wrong of me to let Senpai go to such lengths while I sleep in peace? Was this the right thing to do?
“Alright, breakfast is ready. Please come here.”
Breakfast was on the table, which only existed when Sara-senpai was around, bringing color this early morning.
There aren’t any spoons or chopsticks in front of my seat.
“Umm… Sara-senpai, spoon…”
“Here. Takanashi-san, ah~n!”
I guess that question was unnecessary.

“Takanashi-san, be careful not to use your right hand…”
After arriving at the school and saying our goodbyes, we headed to our respective classrooms.
I almost used my right hand when I opened the classroom door, but retracted it in a hurry.
Being unable to use your dominant hand was a pain.
*Slides open*
“Good morning.”
“Good morning, Takanashi. What did the hospital say?”
I’m thankful for all the people who are concerned about my condition.
“My right wrist has a crack and sprain.”
“Oh my! That sounds terrible.”
“It’ll heal, but it will take a long time.”
That was what the doctor told me.
“Takanashi-kun, if you need help, please let me know.”
“Yes, yes. We’ll be there when you’re in trouble.”
“Thank you, if I need anything, I will let you guys know.”
I wonder what would have happened if it had been the same situation.
——————————————
Today was only half-day. The school classes will end after the lunch break.
It was raining outside, and the humidity and heat made my bandaged right wrist feel stuffy and uncomfortable.
There’s a student council meeting later, so I’ll be meeting Sara-senpai in the student council room.
*Slides open*
“Hello~.”
“Hello, Takanashi-kun. What’s wrong? What happened to your hand?”
When I entered the student council, a few people were eating their lunch.
They noticed the bandage on my right wrist.
“Thank you for your hard work. I had an accident in PE class yesterday…”
I explained that it was a sprain and a crack. Some started saying, “Ouch, ouch,” as if imagining the pain.
“Takanashi-kun, have you eaten lunch yet? If not, let’s eat together. Here, sit there.”
“It’s going to be hard considering your right hand. Should I feed you?”
“I don’t want to imagine it (Chuckle).”
That’s right. I heard Sara-senpai ate in the student council room when the weather was terrible, but…
Sara-senpai has my lunch!
“Huh? You don’t have your lunch?”
What should I do?
The best move would be to leave and meet Sara-senpai on the way to eat and then return.
“Ah! I left it in the classroom. I’ll go get it.”
*Slides open*
“Thanks for your hard work.”
“Nice work, everyone.”
Sara-senpai and the chairman seem to have arrived.
How could this cliche event happen…? Was I too late to make my move?
What should I do? Sara-senpai is here already.
“Thank you for the hard work.”
“Thank you for the hard work~.”
“Did everyone think of having lunch here too?”
The chairman said while looking at each lunch box on the usual conference table, and Sara-senpai, who also saw it, looked on with a clouded expression.
“Ah! I’m sorry, Takanashi-san, for making you wait. I’ll prepare it in a minute.”
Senpai hurriedly took out a heavy box from her bag, a water bottle filled with tea, and a chopstick box.
A stacked box for lunch and no chopsticks… In other words, instant death.
“Uwaa, Satsukawa-san, what a stacked lunch!”
“Do you always prepare that?”
It is natural to be surprised at the stacked boxes.
There were only a few people who ate something like that.
I didn’t expect her to pack it in a stacked box either.
“No, I usually don’t. Today, I prepared it for two people.”
I could hear the countdown to an embarrassing play. Senpai had just declared it, and there were no words of denial.
“He~e… Satsukawa-san prepared lunch… for two?”
“That’s… Takanashi-kun’s lunch box?”
“Sorry to keep you waiting, Takanashi-san. Please come this way.”
I sat down quietly on the seat she assigned me.
“Um… Sara, can you give me chopsticks or a spoon?
“Here you go. Ah~n…”
I bet on that little hope that Senpai would take a hint. But instead of an answer from her mouth, Senpai delivered the main dish to my mouth.
「「「「…Ha?」」」」
Yeah… It’s been a while since I’ve seen that unified reaction from the student council members.
“Fufu… Did you like it?”
“Chomp chomp… It’s delicious.”
「「「「…………」」」」
Don’t look. Please don’t look at us.
They’re looking. Maybe they’re not. (TN: ML saying like a riddle. Like when picking the flower petals.)
“Ah~n.”
And Senpai’s “spoonfeeding” attack continued until my stomach was full.
