Chapter 1: Go to hell!

Wen Xi and Wen Qing were driving to the sea, as it snowed outside.
Wen Xi drove with no expression, almost as if she were a robot. Wen Qing lit a cigarette beside her, took a long drag, and exhaled, letting out a stream of smoke.
It was quiet, perhaps too quiet for Wen Qing, that she decided to turn on some music.
Wen Qing slowly breathed out, creating a cloud of smoke while flicking her curls casually. “I heard that you had a camera installed at home recently, and now you’ve found out. Is there anything else you don’t know? I might as well tell you everything.”
Wen Xi said nothing, but her grip on the steering wheel tightened.
“Yes, I am in love with your husband. That night, when you found us, it wasn’t the first time we’d slept together. As for how many times exactly, I can’t remember.” She grinned. “But I remember the first time. It was on your twentieth birthday. You were drunk, so was your husband. He mistook me for you, and I didn’t feel like stopping him.”
With growing excitement, Wen Qing decided to speak more bluntly. “Men are animals, who think with their lower body, instead of their upper body. They always want more. Of course, the first time is always the hardest, but after that, we met in private almost every week, even on your wedding night. It was just for fun – I didn’t expect to fall in love with him.”
She turned to look at Wen Xi with a graceful smile. “I don’t want him to be your husband anymore. Sorry.”
Wen Xi, turned the next corner with a poker face, but the look in her eyes grew colder.
Wen Qing flicked the ashes off of her cigarette.
“Xixi, I always thought you were smart, not just good-looking. It’s only good to be naive when it’s not a synonym for stupid. That night, you asked me how could I have done this to you, because you thought you were my favorite sister, but how could I love you when we have different mothers? I was only being nice to you to try to fit in with your family. After all, we weren’t being treated well when my mother first brought me to your family, when I was only a teenager. ”
She grinned again. “Xi Xi, the truth is…I hate you! So much that I want you to be miserable all the time! You have no idea how much trouble I’ve been through because of you.”
As the song playing reached its climax, Wen Qing smiled as if she had won a game between them. “Do you remember when our father threw a banquet for you because you got into that famous film school? You were eighteen. It didn’t make sense to me – even I couldn’t get into that school, so neither should you. So I started a fire, trying to burn you, but apparently you got lucky again – and someone saved you.”
Now, Wen Xi was as pale as the snow outside; so pale that anyone would have found it frightening.
“But what you don’t know is that the man who saved you in the fire was not your husband, but a doctor. Does He Yan sound familiar to you? He’s become quite the celebrity!”
Wen Qing continued in a mocking tone. “Coincidently, when you were nineteen, Mrs. He tried to arrange a blind date for you and him. But you refused, thinking it was your husband who’d saved you, when in fact, it was He Yan! Isn’t it funny that you’ve returned the favor to the wrong person?” She burst out laughing.
The news was too much for Wen Xi to process, that even her lips paled, and her eyes lost focus.
The music stopped abruptly. “Breaking news. There has been a terrorist attack at the Chuangshi building. Numerous people have been killed and injured. Among them, a well-known doctor, Dr. He Yan has also been seriously injured, and his current status is unknown. This incident will have an enormously negative impact on Country C…”
Wen Qing mocked Wen Xi again. “How lucky you are! It seems I’ve saved you from becoming a widow — imagine if you’d married him. I wonder what you could do to repay me?”
The color from Wen Xi’s face had drained completely, and her tears fell silently.
In the meantime, they’d driven far enough to be able to see the sea.
Wen Xi, stepping on the accelerator, slowly turned to face Wen Qing and shouted,
“Go to hell!”
Bang!
The red sports car smashed through the fence. With a loud splash, they plummeted into the sea.
