Loving You As Scheduled - Chapter 53
Chapter 53: If Anything Happens To You
However, Luo Chen, who was standing at the side, was terrified.
For the past three years, other than from the terrorist attack, Mr. Qin has never gotten injured!
If Old Master finds out about this, all of us will be beheaded!
“It’s nothing. It’s only a small injury.”
As he stared at her bright, black pupils, Qin Sijue’s previous fury had already dissipated—instead, it was replaced by a sense of sympathy.
Luo Chen lifted his eyes and felt wronged. Mr. Qin, this minor injury of yours is equivalent to all of our heads!
He did not know how to explain this to the Old Master!
“But…” Gu Qiangwei subconsciously wanted to touch him, but when she touched his sleeve, blood immediately stained her clean, white hands. Her voice trembled even more.
“There’s so much blood! Go to the hospital now!” She acted instinctively, dragging him along and walking rapidly towards the black Lincoln!
She did not know why, but the tears that she had kept away earlier were flowing down even more ferociously.
Maybe she was terrified; after all, she had never seen so much blood in her life before!
Qin Sijue’s gaze never left her face. Her pained heart touched his unmovable heart—one which had never wavered for twenty-six years.
When they arrived at the hospital, Luo Chen did not dare to inform anyone else other than Li Yuan, and when Li Yuan heard that Qin Sijue had gotten injured, he was terrified as well. He rushed to Qin Sijue’s private hospital ward rapidly!
What followed were a series of urgent emergency procedures.
Luckily, the wound was not deep, and Qin Sijue was sent to the hospital in time, so he did not lose too much blood.
After bandaging Qin Sijue’s wound, Li Yuan let out a breath of relief. He lifted his hand and wiped off his cold sweat!
“Master Qin, can you not do such risky things? If anything happens to you, the fate of the entire Country Z will be affected-”
Li Yuan had not finished speaking when he saw Qin Sijue’s sharp gaze sweep towards him. His voice immediately stopped, and from the corners of his eyes, he glanced at Gu Qiangwei, who was still standing in the room.
Gu Qiangwei also got some hints from this strange speech.
Qin Sijue’s injuries are on his own body; how would that affect the fate of the entire Country Z?
Looking at her slightly stunned and suspicious expression, Li Yuan immediately tried to cover it up. “Ahem, I mean, wouldn’t it be such a great loss for Country Z if a talented man like you died?”
Oh, so that’s what it was.
Gu Qiangwei also knew that Li Yuan was someone who exaggerated everything as she had already interacted with him a few times, so she did not suspect his explanation at all.
However, when she turned her head and looked at Qin Sijue, she coincidentally met his eyes again.
Her heart moved slightly, like fingertips on strings. Especially during these few days, whenever she met his dark pupils, this feeling—strange yet familiar—would surface from the bottom of her heart.
However, she quickly ignored this feeling and chose to turn her head to look at Li Yuan.
“Um, did anything serious happen to him?”
“No. He’s alright now that the bleeding stopped. He can be discharged now.”
“Doesn’t he have to stay in the hospital?”
“No. Anyway, this guy doesn’t plan to stay either!” As he spoke, Li Yuan could not help but swivel his head around and look at the man leaning against the headboard. “Right, Master Jue?”
Qin Sijue ignored Li Yuan’s cute expression pointedly and stood up.
“Let’s go home.”
After being ignored so blatantly by Qin Sijue, Li Yuan could not help but glance at his back from behind.
