Chapter 39: Going All Out
Just as all of the mages were enraged, Zeus slowly raised his head.
“Quiet, everyone.”
“Stop making a commotion! What kind of behavior is this?”
Everyone from the God Realm shuddered before suddenly coming back to their senses.
Hades narrowed his eyes upon seeing this.
Was it really useless?
If there were a few more people from the God Realm who attacked him here, he might be able to make a big fuss out of it.
What a pity!
On the throne, Zeus slowly raised his head to look at Hades. His voice was calm and peaceful.
“The heavens have decided that the God Realm will prosper.”
“No matter how they struggle, they’re nothing more than passing clouds. There’s nothing to fear.”
Hades narrowed his eyes and remained unmoved.
“Oh! In that case, all of us from the Nether Realm are waiting for the God Realm to prosper. We’re waiting for the good news from the holy flame transmission mission.”
After saying this, Hades didn’t stay any longer. He turned around and walked to the lower plane and disappeared, leaving behind a hearty laugh.
Divine light circulated above the golden palace.
Zeus’ body also slowly dissipated.
“The Holy Flame Transmission Mission continues.”
“Don’t let them disrupt your plans.”
“Let’s go and see what’s going on.”
There was a loud bang at the front, and Heimdall’s eyes flickered with coldness. His fingers now had large black cracks spreading.
He crushed the space in his hand ruthlessly. Heimdall turned his head and walked out of the golden palace without hesitation.
“All Archmages, follow me.”
“Find them all.”
“No matter what, we have to find the mastermind. I want to see who it is.”
“Not just at the altar, but Prince Harry. Near St. Petersburg.”
“Search carefully. Don’t miss a single place.”
In the next few months, everyone in the human world walked towards the altar and Saint Petersburg in search of the mastermind.
And above the god realm, Heimdall personally took action.
He used the power of the God Realm and placed a huge magic array with the 18 supreme mages.
Heimdall had spent a lot of magic crystals to set up the magic array here.
He didn’t even hesitate to use the demon beast crystal that he obtained in a space at a river as the core of the magic formation just to find out who was causing trouble behind the scenes.
Heimdall’s magic power had already reached the level of an advanced Archmage. He could be said to be the top existence in the entire magic world.
It was impossible to imagine how terrifying the power of the magic array placed by him and the 18 supreme experts was!
Even so, their search was still filled with difficulties.
Either there was no way to do it, and everything was blank, or a strange magical force wiped away all traces when it was about to be discovered.
More than half a month had passed, but they still found nothing.
Moreover, they would suffer all kinds of backlash, often leaving the 18 Archmages and Heimdall in a sorry state.
At this moment, another supreme expert from the God Realm also arrived.
He was the Thunder God, one of the four strongest figure in the god realm. Without saying anything else, he walked up to help Heimdall control the magic array.
With the help of the Thunder God this time, at the cost of being seriously injured, the magical powers of all the participants had still regressed to that of an elementary Magister.
However, such a price finally avoided the strange magical power and faintly caught a trace of it.
But they only deduced one location.
“Finally found it.”
“As expected, someone was behind all of this, and the result of this deduction is very related to Prince Harry.”
Heimdall’s eyes glittered.
“It’s not just Prince Harry. There’s also a faint connection with the Forest Wolf,” Thunder God said in a low voice.
“And this place is actually in the Spirit Realm.”
“No wonder they can be found. Hurry up and send people there. Search carefully and thoroughly.”
On the Ross Continent of the Spirit realm, there was a remote location far away from the city.
Although there was no flourishing place, there were only forests as far as the eye could see.
But with the thick smoke and fire of the picturesque landscape, the neighborhood was harmonious and peaceful.
In a small room, there was a little girl of four or five years old. She was sparkling, cute and delicate. She was especially lovable.
“Linda, I have something to do. You have to be careful staying here alone. If anything happens, hide or look for me.”
“I understand.”
The little girl waved her little hands vigorously with a cute smile.
The old man walked away with his hands behind his back, leaving the little girl alone in the room.
Only the little girl was left in the room. She came to the simple dining table and ate the remaining food from the morning. Then, she brought a bucket of water and swayed to a patch of grass at the back.
This place was covered in green grass and fragrant flowers. However, there was a cenotaph. It was very small and simple, but it was exceptionally tidy.
The little girl held a bunch of flowers and carefully placed them in front of the cenotaph.
After cleaning up, he slowly knelt on the ground.
“Daddy, Teacher found me.”
“I had a great time. It was Teacher who brought me to the library and I met many good brothers and sisters.”
“My brothers and sisters said that I’m not the last witch. There must be other witches in the magic world, but they’re all playing hide-and-seek, waiting for little Linda to grow up to find them.”
“Even though the library has been disbanded, the teacher said that no one is allowed to mention the library to the outside world, or else I will definitely tell Daddy about the library.”
Linda said quietly, blinking her big eyes and eyebrows.
Occasionally, she would smile when she recalled something happy. Her big eyes that were as bright as stars were filled with happiness.
“Little Linda is doing well now, but she misses you guys a little.”
The little girl was kneeling on the grass, surrounded by white petals.
She stood up, picked up the wooden bucket, and slowly poured water onto the flowers on the lawn.
Just as the little girl was about to leave this patch of grass, a golden light suddenly flashed. The dazzling light forced the little girl to close her eyes and turn around.
Numerous figures appeared in the sky. They wore golden cloaks with densely packed pictures on them. The clothes in front of them had the word ‘God’ written on them.
The heavy magic pressure immediately made the girl cry, drop her bucket and fall down.
“Found it.”
“Hmm? Why is it a little girl?”
“She’s actually a witch descendent.”
“I didn’t expect this magic world to still have the remaining evil of the witches.”
