Chapter 363 – He had injuries all over him and he was in shock. (2)

Odd Big Sister’s body was very soft and very warm.
He could feel her holding onto him tightly, her soft body shuddering all of a sudden.
Lu Jue’s eyes which were just beaming a second ago turned completely dark when he saw the knife sticking to her back.
“Lu Jue, run!” Ning Zhi struggled to breathe from the pain as she held onto Lu Jue tightly.
It hurt so much. She had never felt such pain in her entire life.
She had been pampered all her life, and any little bit of pain normally would make her want to cry.
It was the first time that she had ever experienced such excruciating pain.
A girl appeared in Lu Jue’s arms when Gao Jiang’s knife was about to be thrusted into Lu Jue’s body.
The knife stabbed deeply into the girl’s body.
Gao Jiang was stunned. Was that truly a ghost?
So this female ghost was the reason that he felt that he was kicked, scratched on his arm, smacked, and his hair pulled?
He gulped in disbelief. Dang. And this female ghost would even bleed?
Gao Jiang could see blood coming out of the girl’s back. This was the first time he had ever seen a ghost bled.
Unlike Crew Cut, who was afraid of ghosts, Gao Jiang was not affected in the least, aside from the surprise he felt when Ning Zhi appeared suddenly. Thus, he recollected himself quickly and was just about to return to his business of taking care of Lu Jue when he heard footsteps from nearby and people talking.
He spat, cussed, gave Lu Jue an unreconciled stare, and took off quickly.
The cops were here.
Leaning in Lu Jue’s arms, Ning Zhi could barely stand.
Her little face turned paler and paler, and her forehead was covered in cold sweat.
Her intention was to take the knife from Gao Jiang’s hand, but she didn’t have enough time. Her body moved faster than her brain, and she unconsciously threw herself over Lu Jue.
She reached her hand out and pinched Lu Jue on his cheek. “That man’s name is Gao Jiang. He was the one who kidnapped you, and Lu Shenyuan was likely the man behind all this. Do not forget this. When you recover from your illness, and if they are still not arrested, you must call them out and have people look into them.”
Lu Jue hugged Ning Zhi tightly. Touching her back, he could feel warm fluid on his palm.
He lifted his hand and looked. And his pitch-black eyes immediately dimmed. His chest throbbed, and he was enveloped in panic. “Red. Red.”
Odd Big Sister was bleeding.
“Do not forget your Odd Big Sister,” said Ning Zhi as she lifted her head. Her now pale lips landed on his slightly-chilled thin lips. “No, wait. If I am no longer around, then you should forget about me.”
She had just finished saying that when she bit Lu Jue on his lip, feeling unreconciled. “What should I do? I am so selfish. Even if I am going to die, I still don’t want you to forget about me.”
Lu Jue felt his chest being torn apart. This was the first time he felt fear. Hugging Ning Zhi tightly, he said, “Odd Big Sister won’t die. I won’t forget you. To hospital. Take Odd Big Sister to hospital.”
He quickly picked up Ning Zhi.
Ning Zhi was carried princess-style. Leaning against his chest, she was hurting too much to even talk. “Then remember me. You are not allowed to forget. You can’t forget what I look like because I am so pretty.”
Lu Jue ran fast, carrying Ning Zhi in his arms as he nodded distractedly. “Remember. Will remember.”
His palms were getting redder and redder. Even Lu Jue’s beautiful cherry-blossom eyes were almost reddened by the blood.
The very next second, he felt no more weight in his arms. Ning Zhi’s body turned transparent and disappeared gradually.
Lu Jue paused. He lowered his head and looked blankly at his now emptied arms. He saw the bright-red blood all over his arms also disappearing slowly.
His arms were clean in time.
“We found him. Young Master Lu Jue is right here.”
When the cops and the Lu’s men found Lu Jue, they saw him standing there blankly, injured, as though he had received the greatest shock of his life.
