Chapter 23 Escaped!
“Roar!”
The ice giant leader was alerted. It was supposed to be unconscious, but it suddenly woke up and roared towards the sky. Its roar was like thunder, deafening to the ears.
It sensed that some reckless guy had stolen its treasure.
The blue ring of light that was originally surrounding the giant leader gradually lit up.
He looked down and saw something as small as an ant holding a red flower in its hand and running away. It was Li Zheng, who had fled in panic after stealing the flaming ice fire.
“Ascala K!”
The rock giant leader’s eyes glowed with a strong blue light. A palm with a diameter of more than three meters descended from the sky, slapping down on the escaping Li Zheng.
Thump!
The ground trembled, and smoke and dust filled the air. The ant-like creature didn’t even have time to dodge before it was covered and crushed by the ice giant leader’s palm.
Such a weak ant actually dared to steal their sacred object?
He was overestimating himself!
The leader of the ice giants thought that he definitely killed the ant. It slowly raised its hand, trying to retrieve the treasure it had lost.
However, it was not as he expected. Instead, the ant twisted strangely and reappeared. Without looking back, it ran into the distance.
This scene infuriated the ice giant leader.
“Huli Kalur K!”
The blue light in the ice giant leader’s eyes suddenly brightened. It opened its mouth and shot out a thick ray of blue light.
Wherever the blue light passed, the temperature dropped by dozens of degrees. Ice crystals formed in the air, as if it was snowing
It was a phenomenon caused by the condensation of water vapor in the air at an extremely low temperature.
Pfft.
The blue light engulfed Li Zheng. The leader of the ice iants could vaguely see the ant being disintegrated by the blue light and finally dissipating.
“Karra! K!”
It was furious that it couldn’t find its lost treasure on the ground.
It knew very well that the flaming ice flower could not be disintegrated by the blue light.
The only possibility was that he had been deceived.
That ant was not dead yet!
After looking around, the ice giant leader found that there was someone behind him that looked exactly like the ant from before.
“Azi…Kalak!”
The ice giant raised its huge foot, wanting to stomp the ant to death to vent its anger.
The 50 to 60-meter tall ice giant leader had a foot that was nearly 6 meters long which covered the sky when it was raised.
Li Zheng felt his surroundings turn black. He looked up and was terrified.
“That’s crazy! With such a big foot, you’ll never be able to buy a shoe in your life!”
Li Zheng increased his speed as he did some calculation in his mind. He realized that it was impossible for him to escape the foot.
“Fine!”
Gravity, reverse!
Li Zheng’s mind raced as he activated his gravity shoes, instantly changing the gravity around him. A pulling force came from the front, and Li Zheng’s feet dragged across the ground, stepping on the ice road and glided across.
After the direction of gravity changed, Li Zheng started falling. The sudden weightlessness made Li Zheng feel as if he had been pushed down from a rooftop. His internal organs seemed to have shifted, making him feel nauseated.
In an ideal situation, a person’s free-falling speed would be about 9.8 meters per second. This speed was enough for Li Zheng to avoid the ice giant leader’s stomping.
BOOM!
Whoosh.
The ice giant leader missed.
Li Zheng’s feet rubbed against the ground, sending ice shards and sparks flying everywhere from the friction between his shoes and the ice.
“The metal door is about 60 meters away from the giant leader. At my current speed, it will take about five seconds to get there.”
Li Zheng’s brain was working at full speed as he calculated the chances of survival.
“As long as the giant leader doesn’t release that light, my chances of escaping are high!”
“It seemed like a burst. It shouldn’t be able to use it again in such a short time.”
He had a chance!
Li Zheng was excited. It was as if he could already see himself escaping, and developing dual-element genes by consuming the flaming ice flower.
However, as a boss that was at least platinum-grade, how could the ice giant leader only have one skill?
It missed and roared, “Uskalla!”
Li Zheng was horrified to find that the ground was shaking and started to transform.
The next moment, thick icicles rose from the ground.
In the blink of an eye, an ice forest appeared in front of them.
Just as he thought he could escape!
Li Zheng immediately changed the direction of gravity and stopped the momentum. He gripped the ground with both feet to reduce the inertia.
(The gravity shoes are damaged. Please repair them in time.)
“Pudakara K!”
Before he could check the condition of the gravity shoes, the ice giant leader behind him spoke again.
Li Zheng’s heart skipped a beat as a strong premonition of death enveloped him.
“To the left!”
The gravity changed again, and Li Zheng was forced to move nearly ten meters to the side. The sound of the wind whistling rang in his
ears.
A popsicle with a diameter of nearly three meters swept past his ear. The violent movement brought with it a bone-chilling wind that was directed at Li Zheng’s collar.
“It even has a weapon!”
Li Zheng’s expression changed. The giant ice staff was much larger than his opponent’s palms. If he was hit by it, he would be turned into a bloody mess.
“I’m going all out!”
Li Zheng glanced at the ice forest not far away. Without any hesitation, he leaped up and turned around to face the leader of the ice giants.
“Reversel”
Sparks came from the gravity shoes, a sign that the shoes were damaged.
Fortunately, the gravity shoes were strong enough to not go off at this critical moment, successfully pushing Li Zheng into the air.
At the same time, the Desert Eagle appeared in his hand. It was in the default shooting mode. He raised the gun and opened fire.
He didn’t really aim, as Li Zheng did not expect a bronze-grade weapon to deal any damage to a platinum-grade boss.
He was only using the Desert Eagle’s powerful recoil to push himself backward while gravity reversed when he was in the air.
The ice giant’s staff missed its target and it slowly opened its mouth. Blue light shone from its terrifying eyes like two blue suns.
“Pudulikala K!”
After it said that, the blue halo around the giant leader suddenly shone brightly.
“What is this?”
Li Zheng didn’t dare to hesitate and fired a few shots in succession. He glided backward and flew over the ice forest.
“I’m almost there.”
Li Zheng exhaled and suddenly realized that the temperature around him had dropped by tens of degrees in just ten seconds!
The fibers in his clothes could no longer withstand the cold, and his core temperature was rapidly dropping.
“Reverse!”
The sudden change in gravity pulled Li Zheng back, and the speed at which he wasdropping increased. Coupled with the Desert Eagle’s continuous firing, the recoil added to his speed was even faster than his gliding speed!
“Roar!”
The leader of the ice giants was obviously aware of Li Zheng’s intentions. It raised its giant ice stick again in a fit of rage and swung it in Li Zheng’s direction.
“I’m finished, this is bad!”
He was in mid-air, and there was no way to avoid it. Li Zheng’s mind was in a state of
panic.
Bang Bang Bang…
Li Zheng didn’t notice that due to the recoil from firing continuously, his arm was raised higher and higher, and his flight angle was also slightly off.
Seeing the giant ice stick getting closer and closer to him, Li Zheng fell into despair. He could only continue to shoot, trying to make one last effort.
Bang! Bang!
A gunshot rang out, and Li Zheng’s body suddenly sank a little from the recoil.
With such a short distance, the giant ice stick almost brushed past his nose.
A violent gust of wind blew, and Li Zheng lost control and was sent flying.
Sparks flashed, and black smoke came from the gravity shoes. The gravity around Li Zheng returned to normal, and he began to fall.
As he dropped, Li Zheng felt as if he had passed through a thin film, and a familiar sound entered his ears.
“Chirp, chirp!” It was Chirpy.
“I’ve escaped!”
