Monochrome Rumor - Chapter 4-1
Does losing one’s memory change the personality as well?
Looking at Si-Hyun fiddling with his smartphone in the hospital gown, all the members were pondering this question. Maybe it was normal. Because Si-Hyun was very reluctant to be with other people in the first place.
In case of riding a van and on stages where they had to move together, it was inevitable, he had no choice but to go back to the dorm and spend most of the time not coming out. It seemed that Si-Hyun was attached to the dormitory.
But Si-Hyun generally did not return there.
Not only did he come alone to events or stages, narrowly crossing the breach of the contract, but the members heard rumors that Si-Hyun was selling himself to a few sponsors, so everyone argued and tried to stop him.
“Are you really crazy? Why the hell are you doing this?!” The words that flew from Eui-Hyun, who shouted them, were simple.
“Because I need money.”
Eui-Hyun couldn’t even say a word seeing him walking into his room with those words. It was like disrespecting everyone who was making money rightly.
There was no way fans could be unaware of the increasingly twisted relationship between Si-Hyun and the members, and rumors that had been circling back and forth spread rapidly.
Some fans got sick of this and left, but nevertheless, Si-Hyun was still holding his head up firmly without hesitation.
It won’t look good. From that point on, the rumors surrounding Si-Hyun became more inflated, exaggerated and malicious.
I had nothing to say about my own gain.
“What’s up with these names?” Si-Hyun, who was staring at the phone screen, frowned and asked.
San-Yu was wondering what he was looking hard at for a while, but he seemed to have searched for Remegeton.
It’s strangely cute; Si-Hyun tilted his head and opened his mouth again.
“”Reton”, short for Re-me-geton. A five-member male idol group. Leader. Amon. Zeffar, Kaim, Serre, and Ose.”
“Ah, that’s a stage name.”
“A stage name?”
“Yes. We use stage names instead of our real ones because of the concept.” San-Yu, who said so, naturally sat down next to Si-Hyun and bowed his head. The body temperature coming from Si-Hyun was not too high.
Whether he liked Si-Hyun or not, looking at his calm face and his soft smile, he definitely looked like a celebrity.
Even if Ha-Jin doesn’t care about other people’s faces, looking at them, the faces of the four people here are good-looking.
“Now, look.” San-Yu tapped the names in the smartphone and began to explain one by one.
“Amon is Eui-Hyun. Kang Eui-hyun. 23 years old. The one who cried as soon as you woke up”
“I didn’t cry!”
“Oh really? Anyway, he’s the rapper and the leader of the group”
“Zeffar is me. They usually call me oppa. Do you remember my name? San-Yu. It’s Lee San-Yu. It’s important, so even if you forget Kang Eui-Hyun’s name, please remember my name, Si-Hyun~ah”
“Do you really want to die?”
“I’m the same age as Eui-hyun. Kaim is you. Your name is Lee Si-Hyun, and you’re 22 years old. Do you have any questions?”
“………”
“Hmm… Okay, ask me if you want to know something later”
“Serre is Seo Ra-Jun. That kid who’s been whining and chasing you like a puppy. This is a secret, but Ra-Jun likes you a lot”
“Ah, Hyung!”
“Isn’t it? Then, did I get it wrong?”
“See, Si-Hyun~ah, Ra-Jun says he doesn’t like you”
“No! I really do like him!”
“Is that so?… Even if he looks young, He’s already a 20-years-old adult”
“Lastly, Ose is Yoo Chan over there. He’s misunderstood a lot because his expression is always like that, but he’s just quiet. In fact, he is the most mature out of all of us. He’s more like a hyung than Kang Eui-Hyun, and is still 19 years old. Isn’t he amazing? But in a few weeks, he will be an adult”
“Do you get it?”
I’ve always been good at memorising. I nodded my head while engraving the explanation that continued like a rapid-fire gun.
He gently rubbed my hair as if I had done well.
I looked down on my smartphone again thinking about whether I had a good relationship with him from the beginning due to the very familiar behaviour.
But the member’s gaze at Si-Hyun was strange.
The face that used to scowl at the slightest touch, now was casually loosened.
Ra-Jun, who was hesitating, approached and carefully touched Si-Hyun’s pale hand, which was lying on the sheets. After a moment of hesitation, he gently grabbed his hand and a short glance followed.
“What’s wrong?”
It was a low and dreary voice.
“Just, because I like you”
What do you mean? Si-Hyun, who lightly clicked his tongue, turned his eyes away, but still didn’t remove his hand.
However, Ra-Jun still smiled as if he was relieved, gently touching his pale skin.
The back of his hand was hardened without blood. Body temperature cold enough to shake your fingertips. As if everything now was a lie.
