Chapter 25 Only the Soft Persimmon Can Be Squeezed
“Hurry up.” Song Liangjiang’s hand was stretched, but she had no idea what the man was thinking.
Chu Jingmo didn’t make things difficult for her. Instead, he handed her his phone. There was only a photo inside.
Song Liangjiang scrutinized the photo as if it was a treasure. It was much clearer than the first glimpse she had, although this photo only displayed a part of it.
The pavilion was located in the courtyard, with a winding river next to it. The main theme of the resort was a ten-story wooden structure on the outside. But the interior was made of cement and concrete, making it beautiful and practical with a perfect balance.
Except that was only a part of the photo. The main building wasn’t. “Is there anything else?” Song Liangjiang looked at Chu Jingmo eagerly.
However, Chu Jingmo knew better than anyone that this woman was heartless. She would only be so sweet and agreeable when she begged someone.
Chu Jingmo took back his phone. “That’s all.”
Song Liangjiang stopped him from leaving. “If I can replicate it, would the Chu Corporation be saved?”
“Song Liangjiang, do you think your own design is better than a design that had disappeared decades ago?” Chu Jingmo suddenly interrupted her.
She answered, “This is different.”
“You’re brainless.” Chu Jingmo turned around and left.
“Fine, if you won’t let me see it, why did you attack me personally as well?” Song Liangjiang was furious. Chu Jingmo slammed the door, making her shudder. “Is there something wrong with your brain? Why are you suddenly throwing a tantrum?” She grumbled unhappily. She put away her sketchbook on the bed and picked up her phone.
Chu Jingmo left her room and returned to his own, but Luo Fuyang happened to see him.
Husband and wife didn’t share a room?
Luo Fuyang sneered and went back to her room.
Song Liangjiang first started a video call to her professor’s wife. The two little boys were only willing to sleep after chatting with her. Of course, it was mainly Little Rice Bun. Little Rice Ball was still as cold as ever, and he was no different from his annoying father. “If Mommy doesn’t come back soon, Little Rice Bun will be sick. My heart will be sick.” Little Rice Bun lay on the bed and rolled around.
“Mommy will be back in two days.” Song Liangjiang imitated him and rolled around as well and made faces with her son, making him laugh.
Little Rice Ball sat on the bed and played with his blocks while paying attention to his brother, afraid that he would roll off the bed.
“Well? Is the sketch real?” Madam asked, sitting on the edge of the bed protectively around Little Rice Bun.
“It isn’t.” Song Liangjiang had already digested her disappointment. “I’m not looking for it anymore. I saw a clearer photo today. I think I can replicate it.”
“With a glance?”
“I think I can.” Song Liangjiang sat up and pushed her messy hair away from her face. “Anyway, I have to try.”
“What about the previous bid? Are you not doing it anymore?”
Song Liangjiang was stunned for a moment as she recalled Chu Jingmo’s words.
‘Song Liangjiang, do you think your own design is better than a design that had disappeared decades ago?’
“I can take care of both.” She wouldn’t give up on Harmonious Flowing Stream and Goblets, but she wouldn’t give up on her own design, either.
“Jiang Miao’er, your professor and I can’t stop you from doing whatever you want. As long as you don’t tire yourself out,” Madam said gently.
“Yes, I know,” Song Liangjiang replied with a smile, ignoring a callous and cruel beast with poison on his tongue. “Little Rice Ball, come here. Let Mommy see if you’re lovesick.”

The blocks that Little Rice Ball had just stacked together collapsed with a clatter.
Song Liangjiang’s heart skipped a beat. When Little Rice Ball looked up at her, she smiled guiltily.
“Mommy, being lovesick doesn’t work that way.” Little Rice Ball slowly picked up the fallen blocks and reminded his mommy with a stoic expression.
Little Rice Bun immediately looked at his brother. “Exactly. Exactly. Lovesick!”
Little Rice Ball’s lips moved as he looked at his brother’s face, which was puffy from pouting. He sighed helplessly before he stroked his brother’s hair. “You’re not lovesick.”
Song Liangjiang raised her hand and pretended to stab herself in her chest. She had made a mistake all these years!
Why was her younger son always nicer to her older son instead of her?
Why!
Little Rice Bun dumpling looked at his younger brother with a grin and said to his mother seriously, “Brother said it’s lovesick.”
Song Liangjiang lay on the bed. “I don’t even deserve my youngest son’s love. There’s no point in living.”
“Mommy, you’re an adult who can take responsibility for yourself. Don’t compare yourself to my brother,” Little Rice Ball said in a solemn manner. “So Mommy has to learn to grow up.”
Song Liangjiang continued, “Not only do you not care about your adorable mommy, but you even want to teach me.”
“Mommy, I miss you,” Little Rice Ball whispered softly. He lowered his head and his fair face seemed to turn a little red.
Song Liangjiang instantly perked up. She sprawled on the bed and looked at her youngest son on the screen. “What did you
say?”
“Brother said he misses Mommy,” Little Rice Bun reported aloud.
Song Liangjiang looked at her youngest son, whose ears had turned red. Her life was complete.
She enjoyed watching her youngest son being embarrassed and not getting angry. She felt like she was bullying Chu Jingmo.
Revenge! This was revenge!
After chatting with them for a while, she noticed that Little Rice Bun had been yawning away. His head was nodding like a little chick pecking at rice, so she got them to go to bed. Next door, Chu Jingmo received an email. He could not verify the sender of the email. It was filled with codes.
Chu Jingmo sat by the window and gazed at the night sky outside. He could see the shadow of the manor here. After investigating for so many years, he finally seemed to have figured out something.
Song Liangjiang woke up early in the morning and packed up. She carried her small bag and left the hotel alone.
However, as soon as she left the hotel, she met Luo Fuyang. “I didn’t expect you to hide it so well, Mrs. Chu.” Luo Fuyang stopped beside Song Liangjiang. “No wonder you’ve been looking for news of Harmonious Flowing Stream and Goblets. You want to curry favor with the Chu family. Chu Jingmo’s original fiancée is the eldest daughter of the Xuan family. Everyone knows that.”
Song Liangjiang looked at the woman standing next to her. “What? Now that you don’t have customers in your tea garden, you’re spewing nonsense?”
Luo Fuyang really was the epitome of being two-faced.
“Song Liangjiang, I grew up with Chu Jingmo. I know him better than anyone. If it weren’t for your usefulness, he definitely wouldn’t have wasted a single minute on you.” Luo Fuyang smiled and reminded her, “Don’t fall too deep, because you’ll be abandoned sooner or later.”
