Mr Qi, You Are Blocked - Chapter 34
Chapter 34: What Are You Scared of?
Qi Ting had heard the conversation that day between Bai Chuxiao and Bai Meijie. He knew that Bai Chuxiao was picky about food.
The little guy rolled his eyes and came up with an idea. Coming closer to Bai Chuxiao’s ear, he whispered, “Third Aunty, how about you act a little spoiled? He might cook for you.”
…
Bai Chuxiao’s mouth twitched.
From head to toe, Qi Moye was brimming with restraint. Would this kind of behavior work?
Furthermore, there was absolutely no relationship between the two of them. Why would she do that?
She cupped her forehead.
At this moment, the door opened, and there was a woman in her thirties wearing plain and simple clothes. She was probably the maid that Qi Ting had spoken about.
The maid came in and greeted Qi Moye, and then she saw Bai Chuxiao and Qi Ting.
The maid froze. Why was there a girl here?
They all knew what sort of person Qi Moye was. After all this time, this seemed to be the first time that there was a girl next to him.
This was great! The Third Master had been finally enlightened!
The maid immediately perked up and smiled as she greeted Bai Chuxiao. “Hello miss, my surname is Liu. They call me Aunty Liu.”
“Hello, I’m Bai Chuluo. I live next door.” Bai Chuxiao introduced herself.
Hearing her name, the maid’s eyes widened.
This girl was Bai Chuluo?
She heard that Bai Chuluo had gone crazy and that she had a marriage arrangement with the eldest son of the Su family.
What was going on?
Was Third Master being a third wheel? Was he going to get her at all costs?
Omg, this… this…
She needed to report this to the madam.
Aunty Liu then proceeded to cook, while Bai Chuxiao and Qi Ting played together.
Time passed by. Qi Moye finally closed his laptop and got up. He headed to the bedroom.
After a while, Aunty Liu came out of the kitchen. “Miss Bai, dinner is ready.”
After letting them know, Aunty Liu packed up her things and left. She only comes at dinner time.
Bai Chuxiao looked at the bedroom and said, “Little cutie, go call your Third Uncle to eat.”
“Third Aunty, you go. I’m hungry, I’m going to eat first.” Soon after saying this, Qi Ting ran to the kitchen and sat on his seat like a well-behaved and obedient child.
…
Bai Chuxiao was helpless. She could only walk to the bedroom and knocked on his door.
There was no answer.
Bai Chuxiao thought for a moment and called, “Third Master, time to eat.”
Other people called him Third Brother or Third Master.
It wasn’t too appropriate for her to say his full name, and calling him Third Brother sounded even stranger.
She called a few times, but no one answered. Putting her hand on the handle, she opened the door and went in.
The bedroom was large. Looking around, she didn’t see a silhouette of Qi Moye, but the bathroom lights were on. It turns out that he was taking a shower.
Bai Chuxiao turned away and was about to leave.
On the other side, the bathroom door opened. The man was wearing a loose bathrobe, its belt also loosely tied; his hair looked disheveled, water still trickling down from its tips; and his cold, dark and bottom-deep eyes looking a bit hazy after his bath.
Bai Chuxiao was in a daze.
Qi Moye looked at her as though he was examining her.
The two of them stared at each other for more than ten seconds After staring at each other for more than ten seconds, Bai Chuxiao decisively looked away.
She opened her mouth to explain. “I was knocking earlier, and there was no answer so I came in—but I came in to call you for dinner. I’m not perving on you showering!”
Qi Moye’s long legs moved, grabbing the towel on the couch and casually started drying his hair. “I didn’t say you were perving on me.”
Bai Chuxiao: …
That seemed true.
Her explanation instead made it seem like she was guilty, unintentionally revealing what she was hiding.
Damn this beauty for making her muddle-headed.
With a hoarse voice, Qi Moye said, “What are you scared of, hmm?”
