My Cell Prison - Chapter 25
Chapter 25: Chapter 25 – Choice of Fate

By the entrance of the cellar, Han Dong had personally witnessed the prowess of a 4 star difficulty evil spirit.
Able to instantly regrow her arms, and infuse her Yin energy to completely suppress Chenli… Any normal human that went up against such an evil spirit would have absolutely no chance of surviving.
The situation was quite a bit more troublesome than what Han Dong had imagined.
“So this is a 4 star difficulty… Edward Murray is really great, to actually have been able to go up against such a terrifying spirit and come out alive, even managing to harm this being to a certain extent. I’ve only got one shot. If I were to fail… Chenli and I will die here.”
Han Dong told himself to stay calm. He needed to remain composed. So what if life or death was hanging by a thread; who cares if the cellar was echoing the painful screams from Chenli; even if he did not have a 100% guarantee that he would succeed, he cannot panic.
Death would be all that awaited him if he were to make any noise as he closed in on Ackmann.
With the Yin energy overwhelming Chenli, in addition to the fact that she was being strangled to death, she was already suffocating and could barely hold on.
But the expression that she was showing to Han Dong did not even reveal a single hint that she was hoping to be saved. Instead, she was hoping that Han Dong would not mind her current predicament and could successfully close in on Ackmann from behind.
Five meters…
Four meters…
Three meters…
Two meters…
One meter.
He had successfully sneaked up behind her.
Han Dong did not pull out his Plague Doctor’s shortsword that he had gotten as the reward for completing the hidden event.
After all, Han Dong did not pick up the [Mysticism] Class, so he was not able to use the weapon to its fullest potential.
“… Think back to that strange sensation.”
Having prior experience practicing, Han Dong held his breath and tried to recall the unusual feeling that he had during his nightmare. It was very uncomfortable.
He did not know why, but the moment he recalled that lecture hall-filled with faceless students seated in neat rows as well as the objects that had tentacles to them, Han Dong felt completely uneasy.
Holding onto that weird sensation, Han Dong slowly extended his arm out and placed his right palm on the back of the evil spirit’s head.
During this process, the mark of the ‘faceless head and mass of tentacles’ appeared right in the center of his brow.
When the evil spirit Ackmann felt a light touch on the back of her head, it was already too late.
The squelching sound of a smooth creeping tentacle could be heard, as a slippery spotted tentacle swiftly shot out from Han Dong’s palm, ignoring the protection afforded by the skull as it pierced into Ackmann’s brains.
There was no screaming, bleeding, or even a scene of gore. There was absolutely no expression of sustaining any heavy injury on the victim. The evil spirit Ackmann’s expression merely went dull as she turned her head around, her wide eyes looking right at Han Dong, who should already be dead.
She did not understand how he had ‘resurrected’, and she was even more clueless as to why Han Dong would actually possess such an ability.
The evil spirit who should have been striking fear into others was currently revealing an expression of horror in her eyes… It was as if Ackmann was witnessing a horrendous scene that she had never seen before as a result of the tentacle plunging directly into her brain.
In Ackmann’s vision, Han Dong was no longer a dark-haired youth, but something indescribable.
He was someone whom she could not directly gaze at, a monster capable of provoking a deep and primal fear within her.
The strange tentacle patterns spread themselves out from the evil spirit’s eye sockets, rapidly enveloping the whole face and covering her whole body.
That was when an inexplicable scene occurred right before his eyes.
The tentacle that grew out of Han Dong’s palm began to ‘decompose’ along with the evil spirit Ackmann, turning into a large puddle of foul-smelling sewage in a short period of time.
Parts of the sewage on the ground that came into contact with the air was slowly evaporating.
“Is it dead? An evil spirit that was capable of rapidly regenerating herself and could not be burnt by fire had died just like that?!?”
Han Dong stared at the evaporating sewage on the ground and he could not believe his own eyes.
He had originally thought that the move would heavily injure and interfere with what the evil spirit was doing. This would allow Chenli to be free from her grip and let her proceed to finish Ackmann off with her kitchen knife… He did not expect that his sneak attack would actually end the evil spirit outright.
Han Dong involuntarily turned his head to look at his own palm, curiously wondering just what in the world was that tentacle.
But curiosity was just that.
Nonetheless, the first thing Han Dong did was squat down as that brass-inlaid syringe appeared in his hand, inserting the needle into the sewage on the ground… Extracting the cell essence from the puddle.
At the same time, a profound sense of weakness washed over Han Dong’s entire being.
Compared to when he practiced using the tentacle in the room before, the weakness that he felt this time was severely more intense.
Adding to the number of actions, hurrying as well as mental work Han Dong had to do over the last half of this day, he could not hold onto his consciousness for longer, his two eyes turning expressionless and he fell backward.

The voice in his mind spoke as Han Dong gradually woke up.
He was no longer in the dark and damp Plague Cellar.
Han Dong was now in a clean white space… The place was structured in a pentagon shape, with a corresponding door right in the middle of each of the walls.
The first door was made of metal, a sword, and a shield image imprinted on it, with a distinctive cross sign on the shield.
This door was labeled – [Crusader]
The second door was made of mud, and the image imprinted was three books with the word Magic, Holy, and the third book with weird characters from an unknown language that Han Dong could not seem to recognize.
This door was labeled – [Library]
The third door appeared to be made of animal skin, and the image imprinted on the surface was a hand that had a ring-shaped mark engraved on it.
This door was labeled – [Control]
The fourth door was made of brass, and there was a pair of large and small gears fitted together that were imprinted on it.
This door was labeled – [Machinery]
The fifth door was made of ebony wood, and a pentagram was engraved on the door surface with a single crystal ball.
This door was labeled – [Mysticism]
Han Dong was not abuzz for getting through the evil spirit scenario. He had been immediately transported to the reward collection stage, adjusting and observing what was happening in front of him.
At the same time, he tried to contact ‘Accursed Chenli’ via his consciousness.
Chenli was presently resting in his Portable Prison, and everything was normal.
“Allocate Fate points and confirm my specialization? So the reasons that those cavaliers in the Holy City of Newtonia were beyond ordinary people is indeed because they had been awarded extraordinary abilities from the Space of Destiny. But I’ll need to find a specialization that is suitable for me.”
As a researcher in his previous life, Han Dong first stood in front of that mud door that was called [Library].
The moment he chooses this door, Han Dong guessed that he would gain the ability to control ‘sorcery’.
Meanwhile, Han Dong had been curious about ‘magic’ since he was young, figuring that with his scientific research standards and his ability to read literature, it would allow him to quickly read through the various magic tomes and get started on it quickly.
It was at that moment when an odd feeling came to Han Dong’s mind, prompting him to turn his head toward the fifth door.
